My hubby and I were in search of a new desk for our home office. BKM has a good selection and many of the pieces can be customized with regards to the wood and configuration. The ordering process was fast and easy and the delivery was on time. I wasn't too happy with the woman who called to schedule the delivery. She calls and says the desk would be delivered the next day which didn't work with our schedules. When we asked what our other options are she said they're really busy and her drivers are going on vacation soon (this was in December). She continues to say that's why appointments are booked a week in advance (I'm not sure why we were only given a days notice). We find a new day to book and the two hour window she gave us for next day delivery became an eight hour window. In the end she called the day before our delivery and gave us a two hour window. Overall we are happy with our purchase but not thrilled with the customer service from the woman who scheduled the delivery. read more

Al was great! We purchased used filing cabinets and everything was done via e-mail. Al sent photos and let me know exactly the condition they were in, which was excellent condition. Delivery was perfect and we couldn't be happier. I have called him several times since, but unfortunately he didn't have what I needed. He responds the same day. Look for Larry if you ever come here in need of office furniture. He's great to deal with. We found most everything we needed with installation and delivery. Purchased on a Thursday and earliest delivery is the following Weds (not too bad). They have lots of new furniture, office/warehouse shelving as well as pre-owned in good condition stuff too. Don't forget to pet Mr. Buttons =D We'll definitely come back for more stuff. Ppl needs to be careful when you come to this BKM purchase furniture!!!! They will deceive you and steal your money. This is what happened to me ... I ordered reception desk for my new office on August, 04 and Al ( the manager) told me I need to wait until the end of the September. Until the last week of September I called and he said the overseas company has been hijacked , so I need to wait another 4 weeks and still can't say for sure when will receive item . So I asked a refund on October, 04 , I see them take my credit card and processed to refund and it seems I'll get my money back for sure but next day I call my credit card company they told me that BLM canceled the refund. They are theft!!!! Don't trust this company!!!! read more

If you decide to purchase your furniture here make sure you take it with you the same day! We bought an office chair here on Monday, we returned Friday and picked it up and took it back to the office, that's when we realized they switched the chair!! When we bought the chair my assistant sat in it, adjusted it, and made sure everything worked. When it got to our office, two levers were missing and the back adjustments were gone-which is one of the main reasons we chose that chair. Very disappointing considering I would have referred a lot of business their way. Took the chair back today for a full refund. Never coming here again. read more

I had to get a new office chair and visited this store. The two salesmen were really helpful. They were knowledgeable about the features of each chair. They searched the store to help me find the chair that came closest to meeting my requirements. They sell more models of chairs than Office Max, but the selection of ergonomic chairs was relatively small, and the ultra-adjustable ones (like the Aeron) were missing. read more

This location was the furthest I was willing to travel to search for a desk chair. All the local businesses I had visited on the West Side were great, but what they carried was most definitely more than what I was able to spend on a chair. Al at BKM understood what I was looking for, and didn't mind at all that I was a customer not looking to fill a conference room full of furniture. Ultimately, I'm so glad I made the trek out to Commerce. I left with the best chair available, fully assembled, and at a better price than Al could probably afford to sell. I've used BKM for my all my office furniture needs for over 3 years now. I'm very impressed with their quality, pricing, and delivery/set-up. Extremely professional, easy to work with, and very fast. Highly recommend Al due to exceptional customer service. My accounting department recently needed on old invoice from 2 years ago and I e-mailed my rep who forwarded it to his accounting and I had it in less than 5 minutes! Not sure what previous review is talking about with a switched chair, whether it was an honest mistake or an oversight of judgement. I've only had one small problem over the years and they went out of their way to make it right. Like any good vendor will. I typically don't write reviews for people who perform or provide service "as expected", but I will for companies that go above and beyond and make mistakes right again with integrity. We needed two ergonomic work chairs for our home office and Al took the time to go over all of the different chairs, their features and put them all next to each other so we could determine which one we liked best. He gave us lots of his time and we are very happy with the refurbished chairs we ended up buying.
