Only reason I gave two stars is because Gabe was amazing completing my MRI. I would have given zero otherwise. I pushed back my MRI six months to ensure my insurance covered it because I dont have thousands of dollars. Spoke with multiple people to ensure insurance went through. Got the go ahead and then received a 2,000 dollar bill yesterday. When I called and spoke with a gentleman on the phone, he was incredible rude. Brought up an account from multicare that was non-related which he should not have access to and told me this was my problem. Do not get your MRI done here. read more

I would rate less if I could. In November I had work done in Bonney Lake and was moved to Covington Hospital. Managed to get all my bills paid in full. Then months later I receive a bill that went to collections and when I called to talk about it, they hang up on me. This is not good business practices, and I would stay away from them. Amazing staff, polite, friendly, professional. I was a walk in referred by my provider and I was amazed at how they quickly got me in and how nice they were. This office was extremely clean and well labeled (finally! Instructions on the cabinets and signs for the lobby and the restroom) I would highly recommend this TRA location for imaging services. Also, I wasn't in it long but the waiting area was open and very nice. No plastic chairs in a small room here. Really nice place. read more

Their marketing people are giving medical advice! Recently had an X-ray that revealed multiple calcifications. However, just months ago I had a CT/PET scan at the same facility that should've caught these, and yes, at the rate certain calcifications grow, they very likely would've been present. In addition, PET/CT is the Gold Standard for diagnosing and classifying calcifications. So, I reached out to TRA and instead of having a radiologist or even a tech respond, they had a digital marketing employee telling me what to do. Her "advice" was to reach out to my doctor. Uh, no. You're radiologists need to go back and look at the CT/PET scan for these calcifications that were most likely missed back in February. They absolutely also should've done a comparison with the X-ray and PET/CT scan since I have a recent history of breast cancer. A little advice TRA. You don't want to get sued for failure to diagnose or have the government agencies on your case, don't have your marketing people dispensing medical advice. read more

I've never been here before. I'm new to the area and wasn't really sure where to go for service. Thank you to the Yelp community for the strong recommendation! I needed an ultrasound who was happy to find that I was able to get an 8:00 AM appointment on Saturday. I was the first customer of the day and arrive 10 minutes early. I was immediately greeted and provided with clear instructions on what to do next. Check-in was incredibly smooth, just a couple of forms with half a dozen boxes to check and a couple of signatures. It took about three minutes... and I write slow. I took a seat in the lobby and waited another three minutes when the ultrasound technician called for me. She introduced herself and invited me to follow her to her workstation. She was very professional, explained what was going to be happening, asked me to get comfortable, and went to work. The experience was not unpleasant at all. The procedure lasted about 30 minutes. After she had finished her work, she escorted me up to the front and informed me that I did not need to stop on the way out. I appreciate that little piece of information. I was feel kind of weird looking around and asking if I need to do anything before I leave. Due to the fact that I was unable to find anything that struck me as unpleasant, I will start out by giving them the full five stars, and a big thanks for taking care of me. read more

I usually don't experience civilian healthcare due to my job, so when I do I am usually pretty excited. It means nicer staff and equipment. TRA did an outstanding job with my MRI. Knowledgeable staff, very polite and experienced. I would definitely call on them again if the need arises. read more

My 5-star review goes to Betty in the Pet scan department! She went above and beyond to help get my Pet scan approved. She made many phone call to my Doctor after he told me my scan wasn't approved! She even answered my phone call after hours to listen to my concerns. She saved my life by the effort she exerted to get my approval. There are no words to tell her how thankful I am. She really cares about the people she serves and she was so humble, kind and always helpful. Not sure what the complaints are for. I went in for a CT. The wait time of an hour for me was needed for the contrast dye to work. The actual appt started right on time. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and professional at checkin. The CT tech was also really great. Made me feel comfortable and got the IV in the first time, which is difficult to do on me. Happy with my care! read more

Amazing Service and Professionalism. We had a situation where our Neurologist office kept faxing my husbands medical information to God knows who. It was not getting to TRA to set him up for a PET scan for his caner. Three weeks went by and several faxes from the Urologist and TRA was receiving nothing. All I got was excuses from the Neurologist office as to why the apt had not been set up yet. I went over their heads and called TRA directly. Betty answered the phone. I explained the situation and she jumped into action and called our Urologist office to get the paper work they needed to start the process of a PET scan. She corrected them and gave them the proper fax number. Betty did not have to do thi.. This was not her problem, not her department, not her facility. But her compassion and professionalism, and concern went way above anything expected. Within 2 days she got the paperwork, got it in front of the review board and authorized and apt set up for PET scan. Had she not done that, I could have been waiting even longer and as you know with cancer every day counts. Betty, Thank you and your team at TRA for caring. This is so rare these days. I would trust my life with this facility because they don't mess around. Betty for President!! I was extremely nervous to get an IV put in. I have had bad experiences in the past. Sheri and Serena made the whole process easy and PAINLESS. I mean, like no pain. I hardly noticed the needle go in. They made me laugh, Sheri even held my hand while I cried! A HUGE THANK YOU to both of them. The building is clean, they are thorough and I didn't wait at all. Had a procedure done here and was given no sedation or anything to relax me during operation. It was quite terrifying to be honest. I was sent out the door with no directions on how to care for the wound or what to do next. I had to go back in and ask them after realizing I had no information. I didn't feel right for a couple of days and decided to call and ask them to double check the placement of the device from their images. I was told that everything looked great and was in place and where it should be. Fast forward one week of total misery, and I checked myself into the ER. I was treated for sepsis and had to stay in the hospital for a week. They found that the device that I was reassured was in the right spot, was indeed, NOT in the right spot. It prevented me from urinating and it backed into my kidneys causing a major infection which led to sepsis. TRA needs to stick to imaging, NOT procedures or operations of any kind. If you are having anything else done here besides imaging, my advice to you, is, tell your doctor that you'd like to go somewhere else. read more

Not this exact location but billing. I called them twice at beginning if November and twice last week and twice today. I explained my mother died. Kia didn't get it. I spoke to several people and got attitude. My mother is dead you won't get a dime. Sorry. I'm sorry you're too dumb to understand dead people don't come back to life to pay and $8 bill. Finally called again got Bernice who took death certificate number date of death and I ended call. Retraumatozing family through harassment is petty business. I Was sent to TRA to have an MRI done through the VA. For some reason I seem to be getting the bill. I've contacted the VA regarding this bill, they gave me information to give to the billing people in Indiana. Thinking the problem was over I continued on with my life. This happened back in November 2016. About 2 months later I received another bill. Once again I contacted the VA again and they told me to have TRA mail the bill to the American Lake VA hospital billing department. Instead of contacting Indiana I contacted the billing department at the TRA imaging on Union Ave in Tacoma and told them to contact American Lake and gave them the information. Once again I'm thinking the issue is over. This happened in February of this year. A few weeks later(first week in March)I received the bill on my phone via text. Problem still not solved. About 2 weeks(second week in March) I decided to go to the VA billing people in person and informed them of what was going on and that this issue needs to be put to rest once and for all. The VA informed me that they would look into it and send the bill to the main billing department in Vancouver, Washington. The VA also informed me that TRA has a problem with sending bills to the VA to get reimbursed, which I don't understand, I would think they'd want to get paid. Again, I'm thinking it's all over. Today, March 21st, I receive the bill again. I'm extremely angry and frustrated and I'm at my wits end. I don't know what to do and I flat out refuse to pay the bill when the VA said that they would pay the bill. What is TRA trying to do? Are they trying to double bill? Because of TRA, I will never use an outside medical clinic again. TRA, you left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I am disappointed with this company's billing practices. I was sent a bill for services which I promptly paid using my bank's bill pay service. Approximately two weeks after the check cleared, I received an automated message regarding a late payment and threats to send me to collection. The recording also referenced "repeated efforts to contact" me. A company representative later confirmed that I had been contacted twice....once by mail and once by phone which prompted me to call them. I have since faxed proof of payment and talked with a representative who invited me to call back in four weeks to make sure they have resolved their issue....the least they could do is follow up with me from their end to ensure that they have rectified their billing errors. I will never do business with them again....this is not the first time I have had such experiences....this happened once before when my child obtained services...same scenario...same threats....unfortunately this says nothing about the technicians and other staff who work there....but these billing practices are just too stressful and time consuming. It appears their billing staff needs some more training. read more
