3/15/26 I received a text saying they received my doctor order for a CT scan. I tried to call and there were 20 callers in the queue. I put in a request for a call back. After four hours of not getting a call back I tried calling again. There were 30 callers in the queue. I went to the tranow app and tried to schedule an appointment. Got it filled out but it asked some complicated medical questions about the type of CT scan. I had to guess. It kept telling me there was an error in red and I was not able to submit because I couldn't guess the right answer. Soooo I tried calling back again. There were 30 people in the queue. That day and the next day or any day I never got a call back. If you are not going to call back don't offer it. Since I never got a call back a few days later I was in the neighborhood around 4 pm so I stopped by. They stop taking walk ins at 4.30 pm. The staff called to see if they could take the image. They were able to do it. The actual scan took five minutes. If you have the type of imaging that you can walk in don't bother calling. Just do a walk in. Calling is non productive and ridiculous. read more

Always prompt and kind when I have scans here. Receptionist are dependent on who you get there is one in particular who always goes above and beyond. Nurses and technicians have always been kind and never shame me for being a large 270 lb woman. The fact that I have mostly gotten good news there probably helps with the good feelings . read more

It's a weird building because when I came in, they have lots of office desks and cubicles in the lobby, but no one works there. Work your way to the back and then you find TRA. Went here for get my annual screening for breast cancer and the nurse was so gentle. Yes, you're lady parts get squished, but it's not that flat as a pancake torture they used to do. Today I got my mammogram and an xray of my neck. Sarah, the front desk person, couldn't find the doctor's orders so she called my doctor's office. Andrea, the mammogram tech, was amazing as was Roni who xrayed my neck. I am SO grateful to have a place where the staff knows how to balance professionalism with being personable and fun. My husband had chest xray back in June 2024 at this facility. we paid the bill months ago. I guess this one was for the deductible not met, why did they wait 7 months to send this and then threaten to send us to collections in 30 days if not paid today. They suck at keeping records. Second time we have dealt with this. Have no problem paying any bill but don't wait 7 months and then threaten collections. It took them 3 months to get results of xrays to my husbands GP. wow! If you need results fast or correct billing you won't get it here. read more

Absolutely horrible service. I scheduled an appointment for 03/08 because I NEED this appointment before a surgery on 03/13. This appointment was already so far out, AND an hour and a half away from where I live. I didn't care because I explained I NEED this appointment. I was annoyed yet grateful I was able to get in at all before the 13th, despite being so far away. I just got a message 2 weeks after that stating they would need to reschedule my appointment, and couldn't till later March. Are you f***ing KIDDING ME?? Why didn't they just say they couldn't in the first place, so I could look elsewhere? Now I *definitely* can't get an appointment in time. Absolute BS! ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS & WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE REVIEW IF I COULD. read more

If I could give a negative 10 I would. Every experience we've had with them in the last year has been horrible. Broken down equipment, claiming I didn't have an appointment when I arrived and they would have to fit my multiple scans in around others over several hours. The most recent is the worst. Several weeks ago my husband had an ultrasound that found a suspicious mass in his kidney. His doctor ordered a CT. Several weeks of back and forth claiming they hadn't gotten the order from the doctor. Finally scheduled for this morning and they send a text saying it had been cancelled and they would call us to reschedule. I'd drive 500 miles rather than ever use them again. read more

Make the switch from South Sound Radiology to this place. Trust me, you won't look back. I was a loyal customer for mammograms and other needs at SSR until they changed their billing company. What a nightmare. On top of that, often when I made an appt at SSR, they kept me waiting past the appt time. I made an appt with TRA. It was easy, and they were friendly and acted like they valued me as a customer. I arrived, the check in process was quick and easy, and they brought me back earlier than my appt. The tech was super friendly, warm, professional, kind, and engaging. My mammogram took a total of 16 minutes from the time I parked, checked in, and had the procedure done. EFFICIENT. They valued my time! Nice! Their facility is clean. The changing room was nicely appointed with deodorant, wipes, and any other needs for after a mammogram. To top it all off? They gave me a gift for getting my mammo done in October (a free pizza coupon and cake cutter). It's the little things, peeps. Made my day! OH! And they have Olympia Coffee Roasting (the best coffee in town) and a deli right outside the office. Super easy parking. This is my new go to place for any radiology needs. read more

TRA your scheduling process by phone for a CT scan is atrocious. I cannot download the TRA app because it is not compatible with my phone. I cannot schedule a CT scan online because online scheduling is limited to only four types of imaging. Calling and having to be 17th in the queue wow. Then I get I can expect a call back for an earlier date and then have when I get that call to call back I waited another 20 minutes in that scheduling queue. I feel like I spent the entire day trying to schedule. Unacceptable. It's all just too much. Plus my phone battery was dying and even though I am waiting for a new battery in the mail I can't be on hold. I have to turn my phone off to preserve the battery. Wow just wow. One staff member in entire building trained to handle employment urinalysis . 2 hours. Gal came back to work and told everybody suggedtvya go to another lab as she was only staff member they were short handed I said look I've waited nearly two hours. I'm old and need to pee. She said she find someone could handle that type of us as it wasn't her. Continued wait. Very nice gal eventually arrived. Visited recently for diagnostic tests. Arriving they take your temp and give you a face mask if you don't have one they prefer. Then if there's a line you have to squeeze through to line up to wait at the registration desk. Some workers are more helpful to help, some seem too busy to move the line along. After checking in I went to wait and the technician came out within five minutes-Trish. Trish is like sunshine with her friendly upbeat personality. She helped me feel at ease while getting the diagnostics completed. I required follow up the following day and Dr. Ahn was friendly and professional as well. For a test on Friday, I had results on the following Tuesday which was after a holiday on the Monday. The parking is not that convenient, but it's good to get more exercise. read more

NEVER allow the VA to send you to this place. Two years in a row I had imaging 100% authorized by VA Community Care Network (VACCN). Two years in a row they billed TriCare and sent me a copay bill. Multiple calls including conference calls with VACCN rep and the bill was NEVER resolved. I know that vendors receive the same paperwork as patients from VACCN which includes a fund cite. I don't know why they wouldn't use it, but I am never going to let the VA refer me to these scammers again. If I could give them a minus 100 stars I would. read more

The only reason I gave them one star was because I did not have the option of no stars. I have a brain tumor that requires testing to see if it has grown. If it has I need surgery. This is a dangerous operation with severe side effects. The powers that be at TRA decided that this is not an "urgent" test!! A brain tumor is not urgent enough for them! Of couse they blamed the Corona virus. Our Governor specifically okayed doctors appointments. When I told them that, they said nothing. They do not care about their patients. What a welcoming and professional group of people. I walked in with an order to be scheduled for a CT scan and from the kind lady who scheduled me and made sure there was authorization from my insurance to the knowledgeable lady who checked me in and the Tech who explained everything along the way, they were all amazing. I was able to get my scan on the same day. The Tech got my IV with the first attempt and even gave me a warm blanket. The facility is very clean and welcoming. I recommend TRA for all of your Radiology needs. read more

Mammograms for the past 8 years and this place is just the best! I've been getting mammograms here for the past two years, prior to that was Group Health and then Madigan Army Medical Center. I am so impressed with the ease of the process here. From check in until you get results is just super easy and stress free, which is what you need when you're getting your annual cancer check. This last time I was in was extremely nerve wrecking. I was in for a routine mammogram, but also a diagnostic, so I was extra nervous. The tech was super calming and quick to get the images she needed without leaving me squished, in pain. Because let's face it... it does not feel good to have the girls pressed and squished! Because it was a diagnostic mammogram I was able to have my images read immediately and results in minutes. So thankful I didn't have to wait a week or two for results! I'd highly, highly recommend TRA Imaging to anyone for whatever their imaging needs may be! read more

Got call we were going to collections for a bill we never received. They also claim they tried to call us twice but they were calling my husbands work and he was out due to cancer! They WERE given the home number to call but chose not too! They claim we got one bill in July and we did NOT! Called THREE times today and was on hold every time for 20 to 35 minutes! Got disconnected two out of three times! Do they want their money or not? This is so ridiculous. I will NOT be returning there for future medical needs. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. read more

I was quoted a price for imaging and paid at the visit, I was then billed more then twice the quote, and when I finally reached a billing person named Monica, she put me on hold to never come back. They had the order from the get-go, and so I do not know how they can charge more then twice the quote. Also, in the billing automated menu, they have a special button for lawyers! It seemed strange, but now I understand why. Even if you have insurance, you should go to another facility, as this place is not a morally responsible place. read more

Nobody ever answers the phone no matter how long you wait listening to their recorded messages over and over again. And they don't call you back if you leave a message either. I left 3 messages in 3 days and nobody bothered to call me back. If their medical services are as bad as their scheduling (which might be the case based on other reviews) you better keep away from this facility. read more

My doctor ordered a CT scan, so I was told to show up an hour early to drink contrast. There was a problem with the order apparently and then the subsequent insurance authorization. I went back and forth with them and the doctor's office for an hour and 45 minutes! They still had not figured it out, and I had to go back to work. I burned 2 hours of sick leave and NO CT. Why on earth did they wait until I arrived for my appointment to tell me there was a problem? There are plenty of other imaging clinics around. I will NEVER go to TRA again. read more

Waited for months to get an appointment for an Ultra Sound on my liver. My appointment was set for Friday Dec 2 with a 7:45 am check in time. I fasted the night before so I could be ready for my early morning appointment. At 6:30 am on Friday morning the day of my appointment I got a call from someone at TRA telling me the technician was not able to make it in to work so they would have to cancel my appointment. They informed me that they would contact me to reschedule my appointment as soon as they got to the office that morning. I did not receive a call back that day. The following Monday rolled around and still no call from TRA to reschedule my appointment. Finally on Tuesday Dec 6th I decided to call them rather than wait for them to keep their promise to call me and reschedule. I called two different phone numbers trying to reach someone. Each time I selected Option #2 for appointments the phone rang and rang with no response. Finally after twenty minutes I was able to reach a real person who wanted me to wait another 3 weeks before they could work me in. Keep in mind, I didn't miss or cancel my appointment, they cancelled on me. I'm going to contact my provider and ask them to refer me to an alternate Imaging provider. Unfortunately, this is not my first time experiencing issues with TRA. read more

I had a procedure at the beginning of June and paid out of pocket and they have been billing me ever since. Everytime I call they tell me that I have no bills but I continually get text messages telling me that I have a bill and every time I log in it shows that I still owe the whole amount. When I call and I give my account number their automated message says the same thing. It is almost impossible to get through to their billing department to get this resolved and everyone I speak with someone after waiting for 30 minutes or longer they tell me it's resolved but it's not. This is beyond ridiculous at this point and I will never go there again. read more

I have had two procedures done at TRA within one year and both times they have tried billing me for the full amount claiming they had billed my insurance. Not true though. Neither time was my insurance billed. Both times I was told they have the correct ID number but neither time did they say that they did bill it but something didn't go through correctly nor did I get an apology for them causing me any stress over receiving the bill. I will not ever have another procedure done there. The staff during my procedures were very nice but dealing with the billing department is not worth it. They are a less expensive facility and there is a reason why. read more

My doctor sent me there this morning to get a chest Xray as a followup to his diagnosis of bronchitis. The woman who called me up to the counter was so sympathetic, helpful, and quick. The form from my doctor also requested a mammogram which I was prepared to schedule a future appointment but she said she would check to see if there was any possibility they could fit me in today so I wouldn't have to make another trip. After a very brief wait in the clean, neat waiting area I was called back by Diana. She was lovely and reassuring and made everything go smoothly. It only took a few more minutes and I was told they had an opening for my mammogram if I could wait 30 min. I assured them I would be glad to and it didn't even take that long. I think what really impressed me the most from the two intake receptionists to the X-ray tech to the mammogram tech was the way they were not only professional but truly seemed compassionate. It felt like they actually cared about my comfort! It shouldn't be a novelty in the medical world but it can be! The way all the women I dealt with interacted with me and with each other indicated a satisfying work environment. Kudos to TRA and these hard working, caring people - you made this "feeling under the weather" client feel a whole lot better! Thanks TRA! read more

Already had 3 ultrasounds done here for my 2nd pregnancy. Each time I have been very pleased with my experience. The staff is always very sweet, I've never had to wait past my appointment time and the ultrasound tech that I've had all 3 times is just the sweetest woman! She made me very comfortable and explained everything I was seeing on the ultrasound. She is very soft spoken and just makes the whole experience so relaxing. They have always been very quick to call me and schedule my appointment after receiving the order from my dr, and they have done great working with me and my schedule. They even welcome my 18 month old son to come with me to my appointments which is a must for me since I have no one else to take care of him while my husband is at work. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer that was discovered through the amazing technology of the 3D mammogram and conscience doctors at TRA on Lilly. Fortunately, they have been my medical imaging center for many, many years even though they are not associated with the Providence Health Care System or most of my physicians and I would never change that. Recently, I've been a frequent guest at TRA with multiple mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI's, biopsies, wire localizations and EVERYONE has shown great compassion and professionalism. Dr. Grant Tibbets is the Medical Director and an amazing doctor who patiently walked me through the process and expertly completely the biopsy. He leads a fantastic team; Susan who remembers me every time I check in and provides an endless stream of positive energy and support; Trish, my mammogram specialist and cheerleader; and Earl, the calming voice in the MRI machine. If you are looking for great quality care with a personal touch, I highly recommend TRA on Lilly. read more

Last week I had my mammogram and I'm very pleased with the service at TRA Lilly. First, the facility look nice and clean. Linda at the front desk checked me in with very friendly attitude. Trisha was my technologist that did my mammogram, she was very gentle and friendly too. Because I'm very happy with the service. TRA on Lilly did an excellent job with my care, from the front desk to the Technologists. Everyone treated me with respect and I could not have been happier. . Awesome experience. I have been going to TRA for years for my mammograms and other procedures. The staff are always friendly and professional. Today, however, my experience was very different. I use a wheelchair for mobility and cannot stand or walk. When I called a month or so ago to make the appointment for an MRI, I was questioned on this issue, and was very clear, as always. I checked in and was again questioned about walking. I had brought my own sliding board with me. A sliding board allows someone in a wheelchair to safely transfer to a table or chair without standing or walking. I was told I needed to transfer from my wheelchair to one provided by TRA due to issues with the metal. Fine. However, the TRA chair had a broken hand brake and would not lock . The technician and I examined it. It looked like it needed someone with a screwdriver to reattach or tighten a couple of screws. No effort was made to repair this. Instead, as I attempted to use my board to slide from one chair to another, the TRA chair slid away, and the tech bundled me into the chair like a sack of potatoes. It is dangerous for both staff and the patient to use lifting as a means of transfer. I appreciate that the tech saved me from falling on the floor, however, either bracing the chair with his foot or repairing it, would have been safer. TRA clearly does not maintain its equipment or plan ahead when a patient has indicated the need for the use of this equipment. I doubt I will go back. I'm scared. read more

In June 2016 I went to TRA Lily for a screening mammogram, which showed breast cancer. Dr. Tibbits performed the breast biopsy. He and the lovely tech were so reassuring and supportive before, during, and after the procedure. Dr. Tibbits referred me to a surgeon who I really felt comfortable with, and after the my initial cancer treatment was completed, I returned to TRA for the follow-up mammogram. Dr. Tibbits read the mammogram while I was there, and talked to me about the results, which were negative for breast cancer. Dr. Tibbits and the techs seemed genuinely happy about the results. I am so impressed and grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the receptionists, technicians, and Dr. Tibbits during a frightening and difficult time in my life. Thank you all! read more

Very unprofessional place in language and attitude. My visits were for a sonagram. This is supposed to be a time for learning about baby and discovering new things. It's a very sacred time for mama bonding with baby. This is not what happened. Twice I've visited and both times I've had serious problems with the staff being confrontational when I ask general questions. They are under the impression that this service is a free service and put that kind of value on the patient. There have been issues with retrieving medical records, correct accounting, and even altogether losing portions of records. read more
