The only reason I gave this place two stars is because everyone there is SUPER friendly. Very nice staff and very helpful. It's the product that sucks. The machine they roll your cigarettes with packs them WAY too tight so you nearly pop an eyeball taking a pull on it. So we decided to buy a machine from Beans & Leaves in Fairfield and we bought 2 small bags of two different kinds of tobacco to try from there. But Beans & Leaves has a poor selection of tubes (particularly menthol) so I went back to Tracey's to get papers and since I was already there I bought a big bag of McClintock menthol tobacco. This tobacco is trash. $37 down the drain (which, by the way, is more than Beans & Leaves charges for the same size bag). It's SO dry I'm shocked it didn't spontaneously combust in the bag. It won't roll at all. It literally feels like saw dust to the touch. The bag I bought from Beans & Leaves felt moist to the touch and rolled perfectly. So yeah... I'll buy tubes from Tracey's but not a thing else. It's a shame too because the staff there is really awesome... they just need to step up their game. read more

Shop is a complete disaster. Run-down smoke shop trying to rent out broken UHaul trucks. Had a miserable experience trying to rent a truck from here, the battery was dead and it didn't have a mirror, yet they were trying to rent it out and would not offer any compensation for having driven all the way from NY to rent the truck. Store is filled with people smoking cigarettes. Please avoid this place if you can. read more

Called 3 months in advance and spoke with a lovely lady over the phone. I wanted to make sure my online order was correct. She went over the procedure and answered any questions I had. The day we picked up and dropped off the UHaul they were again very sweet. Truck helped to do the job. Now I have the pleasure of unpacking. Lol read more

Can I give negative stars? Awful, just awful. I walked in and was greeted rather rudely but thought nothing of it. I have no idea who the woman was who was "working" but it was clear she had been living under a rock and did not know how to converse properly with people. When I asked a question I was given a nasty response. I then asked another question and was treated like an idiot. So I said thank you for being so friendly and I would never return. This employee (I hope it was only an employee and not the owner) then started screaming obscenities at me as I was walking out the door. The place is a hole. It was dirty and I honestly have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to have a combo UHaul and Smoke Shop. Super geniuses I guess. SKIP IT! Go to Utopia down the street and never look back. read more

Rented Uhaul truck from Tracey's Smokeshop in Norwalk, CT. 14ft truck and 6 moving blankets. Returned truck in the same condition it was rented in. Moving blankets were just thrown in the back when I returned it. I did not know this. I had about 10 people helping me move and had to have the truck back by 3pm. When I asked my movers if the moving blankets were in the back they said yes. Little did I know, if you do not fold the moving blankets for the lovely people at Tracy's Smokeshop they think it's OK to charge you $60. They also think it's OK to lie and tell you that they had to "clean" the back of the truck. So that's another reason for the $60 charge. Obviously to justify the fact that they are trying to charge me $60 for NOT FOLDING BLANKETS they also need to lie and say the truck was "dirty". I moved my house, I wasn't transporting piles of dirt, nice try. Best part of the entire experience.....When I called them to talk about it, they hung up on me twice. Maybe Uhaul should think twice about the businesses they let represent them. read more

Terrible, horrible experience at Tracy's Smoke Shop in Norwalk. I was charged $111 to have a cargo van for about 2-3 hours time, and drove 10 miles. I'll never be going back, and here's why: I picked the van up in Norwalk and drove it across the street to Best Buy. I then drove it to my home in Stamford, and realized (less than an hour after picking it up) that my bill ($111) didn't seem correct. It should've been less than $50. I call Tracy's Smoke Shop and ask the employee to break down the charges for me. They say that they aren't able to break the charges down, and aren't sure why I am being charged $111. At this point I ask if maybe there is a charge to drop it off in Stamford, and they say there is no charge to do such a thing. They tell me to go to the drop off location and ask there. I get to the drop off location, and the guy there has no access to my records, which he shows me. He tries to call the uHaul help line, but they aren't answering. I call Tracy's Smoke Shop again and inform them that the drop off location doesn't have any additional information. They say to keep the van and bring it back to Norwalk in the morning so they can figure it out. I inform them that I'll be charged additional fees for milage and gas, and it doesn't make sense to keep the van if they don't know why I'm being charged extra. They agree, and I end up leaving the van at the Stamford drop off location. The next morning, I call Tracy's Smoke Shop again. I talk to a manager (Jenette?), who says that they still can't break the charges down and to call the main uHaul number. I call the main uHaul number, and they inform me that I need to talk to the actual place I rented from. I call Tracy's again, and am informed by the manager there IS a charge to take a truck from Norwalk and drop it off in Stamford. I tell her that the employee working that night misinformed me and told me there was no charge. She says she'll talk to the employee and call me back. Of course, I never get a call back. I call Tracy's Smoke Shop and the manager basically informs me that I was charged because I did a one-way rental from Norwalk to Stamford. I tell her that isn't what the employee I originally talked to told me. She tells me I should've taken the van back to Norwalk if I wanted the original 'in-town charge'. I again tell her I would have done that, had the employee originally working there informed me that I would get money back if I took the van back to Norwalk. She tells me that there isn't anything they can do in terms of a refund, and that I have to call the main uHaul number, and that it's MY fault for not returning the van to Norwalk. Completely unprofessional service, and rude. All the employee in Norwalk had to do was say 'You were charged $111 because your doing a one-way rental from Norwalk to Stamford. If you bring it back, I'll refund you that fee'. They never did that, and instead fed me misinformation. Then lied about it and said it was my fault, and claimed it was out of their hands. Needless to say, I won't be returning and won't be referring anyone either. In fact I will actively tell people to avoid this basement hole-in-the-wall. While I was in Tracy's Smoke Shop, the general atmosphere was trashy, with various boxes scattered about. Nobody else was there, that should've served as a warning sign that their customer service is non-existant. The employees are completely incompetent and refuse to take responsibility for their actions. They don't care about their customers AT ALL. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you're an unwelcome intruder. In regards to the smoking products, it's a great smokey atmosphere for your kids to be in while you wait for your rental! You can get overchanged for your rental AND get cancer at the same time! *sarcasm* Their tobacco/shisha products are overpriced for the quality you're getting. There are a bunch of better local places, who are happy to spend time with you and get a feel for the tobacco/shisha you're interested in. If you come here expecting reasonable service, prices, or products, then you're in for a shocker. The point to take away from this experience is to not trust shady smoke shop employees high on drugs with your credit card. read more

Skip this place. Yes, they seemed very friendly, but they charge more than double for tobacco than the average reputable smoke shop. If you make an initial $50 investment for a quality rolling machine, you can be rolling your own cartons for about $11 apiece, with Criss Cross tobacco (for which they charge $16+, most places charge $8-10.) read more

LOVE this place!! Everyone is super friendly and the cigarettes that I roll in the big machines are fantastic! Saves me a ton of money because the prices are great and one of the cigarettes I roll in their machines lasts as long as 2 store bought cigarettes. So happy to have this place!! read more
