I had just stopped to see which direction to go and wasn't even sure what was going on bc employees aren't usually in groups blocking the end of an isle. A women with short buzzed hair (who looked like she was in charge) says "are you just going to stare?! SPEAK." I was kinda shocked and a man said sorry (one of the workers), but as I was walking out of the isle, I hear hear her reprimand him because "they will just stand there if you don't say anything, like speak!" As someone in customer service I know it is usually 99% the customer at fault and it's nice to vent over anything when it's stressful, but at least wait until customers are out of earshot... will probably just drive further out of my way to a different Homegoods/Marshals to avoid people with a view towards fellow humans like this who unfortunately work in customer service. All other staff was wonderful and friendly.

Never mind during the holidays - this place is nuts any time of year so be patient if you just gotta have that low-priced home decor, beauty or clothing item. I see comments in other reviews about lack of customer service, but any time I stop in, I am greeted with offers to help or just simply to say hello. As for the return policy, yeah, not my favorite. But look, this is a small business. People are always talking about supporting these, but then don't have any tolerance for the policies that are sometimes necessary to keep these businesses open. At least store credit is offered, which is better than some other highly-patronized businesses in town.

Ironically my friend and I look Hispanic, and we're the only 2 that looked like us in the store. What's disturbing, is that we didn't look disheveled, not put together, or lacking in hygiene. Souderton Square is a shopping center located in Souderton Pa on West Main Street. Not to he…read moreconfused with County Line Plaza across the street, this is the smaller of the two shopping centers which has a Burger King, Hometown Family Restaurant of Souderton (formerly O'Gradys Restuarant) and a stripmall with some more smaller name stores (the ones I knew changed or closed down including China Wok Buffet which is now China Panda Asian Cuisine which personally isn't as good, Little Ceasars and Subway). 3 managers didnt understand whatt "discrimination" means. They told me not allowing "associates" on…read morethe floor who tell customer "I dont speak English" was "discrimination. No its ensuring customers cant get assist they need. "Discriminatiion" would be not allowing someone to work the floor becayuse they have a limp or other impairment that does not impair their ability to do the job but they are told you can;t be on floor because you limp. etc. You dont hire a lifeguard who can;t swim because that would be discrimination. Sent complaint to Walmart "ethics" Told them 3 aself described "managers"\said it was "discrimination" if these ppl who can;t speak the language, and therefore can;t do the job not given job of speaking to customers. Ethics informed me they would talk to store manager about this but since one of the managers had called me and IDed sefl as store manager what help would that be? (One manager told me in loud voice, in order to imply to other customers standing in line, that "They're people, they're equal" kept repeating that and loudly despite my never saying anything absent they need to be able to answer customers' questions. The Horsham location has some of the same brands this store carries but they're always out of stock. They're getting one star improvement for their variety of apparel. However the entire apparel team was standing and doing absolutely nothing but talking while the floor definitely needed help. Not good to see that many employees standing - meanwhile one of the presumed managers kept yelling at someone stocking candy at the checkout lanes. Oh and the guest service went really quickly. Quakertown Plaza is a shopping center on Route 309. At one point it did have a Friendlys which was always my main reason to come to this shopping center but that closed down and turned into Buffalo Wild Wings. Also some notes about this shopping center. Quakertown Family Restaurant is in the same lot but in its own section, only accessed by Route 309. This also connected to Richland Crossing Shopping Center (by the Quakertown Health Center) but that is it's own shopping center with its own stores. There are a few lights and exits to this shopping center (not including the ones in the next shopping center over) and it has alot of space and parking, I'd just watch out for those nasty speed bumps in the back of the lot.
