It's not meant to be derogatory but as a compliment! The shoe section is huge! And I do mean huge! I went here today in the hopes of finding a really nice pair. To my dismay; I couldn't find what I was looking for. Back in the day it was very common to locate a pair or two or more of the Bostonian brand. Not any more! As a matter of fact I purchased a pair back in the late 1970's. It was my first introduction to Bostonian; and I loved them!I think they were 25.00 dollars at the time. Back then there was also a couple of department store's on Main Street in Gaffney. They sold Bostonian shoes for 100.00 a pair! That was a lot of money then!When Walmart came here; Main Street shutdown rapidly! No department stores or anything related survived. Guess what? Bargain Shoes survived; but they had to relocate away from Walmart! I was a bit disappointed in my trip here today as I didn't recognize any brand names in the shoes. They all seemed generic. I still would have bought a pair but nothing felt good on my feet! As you can see in my pictures Bargain Shoes stocks a little bit of every kind of clothing! I still suggest that this is a good place to shop for bargains!

On my last prior visit here I came to purchase three dress shirts and a black tie. They had absolutely nothing in my size or anything close at all! The apparel that I intended to purchase would have cost me a bundle! Due to my poor diligence; I did put all of this off until the last minute. I'm accepting a major part of the blame! This stuff was necessary for me to look appropriate for my daughters graduation just three days away! I've already finished and posted a review about that. Anyways; I was forced to quickly find another men's store that carried what I needed. I did get very lucky at Suit City in Spartanburg,S.C. I already posted a review about them! Today my daughter planned to pop in our local Belk's Store and pop right back out. Didn't Work so well for her! The customers waiting to be checked out reached halfway to the middle of the place. I did post pictures! I'm sure that somehow having a Belk's in a small town like ours is to benefit us local citizens! But I assure you that our Belk's would have much better sales numbers if they would just properly stock the dang place! The customers are here and ready to spend good money if they can.Not only from my own personal experiences here but that of the many customers that leave here disappointed and with no merchandise to carry or cart to their cars agree with me. The management philosophy here reminds me of Walmarts! They don't care if you buy something or not! The next Belk store is twenty two miles away and some people on fixed incomes or due to health issues cannot make that trip! I recommend this place as a good place to get exercise as it's a large building. But for shopping satisfaction; avoid this dud and get a ride with someone to the fantastic, well stocked Belk's at Westgate Mall in Spartanburg, S.C. Yes; it's a twenty two mile trip-one way!

She was indifferent and didn't care if I bought it or not! I finally made a good decision and got my daughter to order me one on Amazon for 10.00 dollars! I can see how they sell kids shoes, because kids LOVE brightly colored shoes that light up!! The grown up stuff, I did not find very fashionable; they also looked kind of cheaply made. Maybe there's a better representation of their brand in major stores. Maybe they're super comfortable. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt based on sales, but personally I'm a Bjorn and Clarks kind of guy. The outlet runs an indefinite "buy one get one half off" special.

This store reminds me of a smaller scale Marshalls. There's a good variety of clothes and other apparel. I saw a Knick-Knack section. I didn't have a lot of time to shop because I had just left Aldi with a bag of frozen chicken tenders and no cold bag. There wasn't nearly the huge number of customers that I expected. Even at 8pm, it was a little busy. After a quick stop in the Walmart, I locked up the Sprinter van and tried to get a night's sleep. This Walmart tolerates overnight RV parking and that's what I did as my van is converted. However, it was not to be. After two "burnouts" in the parking lot, I opted to move along to somewhere else. The shopping center is anchored by the Walmart. There is also a Dollar Tree, liquor store, mobile phone store, pizza, shoes, nail salon and a bunch more. I stopped by here today just to observe the traffic and to see how much business these individual stores were doing. Business is brisk to say the least! Saturday's and Sunday's are the two busiest days around this plaza. I advise an earlier arrival. Approximately half of these businesses open at 9:00 am.
