There are a lot of closed stores here and the exterior of the buildings look like they are not being maintained that well. Simon properties usually does a pretty good job at taking care of their stores, but I was very disappointed with this outlet mall. read more

This outlet is 0 out of 10 especially when you're used to shopping at the larger outlets. It needs a paint job and upkeep. The food court needs to be closed and remolded along with the restrooms. It didn't have a wide variety of store and those stores like NIKE was like a clearance store. Service was good for every store we went to but not worth my time. I left and went to Tanger as they have more items for a greater value. read more

Overall, the place is clean, bathroom cleaner than expected. Unfortunately, it looks as though over the years and Covid, there are several empty places. Didn't find prices to be "outlet" prices. Several stores have more than one store there. I did get great service from the one store I bought in. I hope it fills empty spots and modernizes some. read more

Good shopping experience. Until the New Fashion Outlet opened in SW Charlotte, this was the outlet place that folks from Charlotte went to for bargains. Sone would have assumed Concord Mills but Concord Mills is more a collection of main street retailers and very few, true outlet centers. This place has both and despite the competition from the New Fashion Outlet, it still offers bargains and a comfortable place to shop. I have generally only stopped if I was traveling through but I have neighbors who will organize day trips for Cornelius NC even though it is only a hour drive away. There is ample dining locations available although my wife and I normally end up at the Cracker Barrel at the entrance. Not a bad way to spend a day. read more

Welcome to the Gaffney Outlet Mall, where you'll find deals. Or you won't. One thing to be aware of is that the prices here aren't always cheaper than the what you might experience at the regular store. Mrs. K. is a big fan of the Coach store, where she's scored a few excellent deals on purses and other 'wrist candy.' About an hour south of Charlotte, you can't miss it. Look for the water tower that's made to look like a giant peach. Or a fat girl's behind, depending on your perspective. I agree with Nick on the weather checking - this is an outdoor shopping mail. That said, it is at least covered so you are out of the rain or snow, if it's not too windy. Tons of parking, though it does get very busy during the Christmas shopping season. You might have to -gasp!- walk a short bit if you get tired of circling the lot looking for open spaces. Clever people with their SUV's have been known to park on the grass and I've not seen them ticketed, though you just never know. Several food options, though not many. I'd recommend takng a short drive (less than 5 minutes) and hit one of the nearby restaurants if you want something a little healthier. Warning: make sure that your bags of goodies are out of sight in your car. Just because it's miles away from the big city, it does not mean that there aren't people looking to take your stuff. read more

Gaffney is on the lower end of the Premium outlet family and is a smaller centre that claims to have 75 stores but I question that when visiting. I've visited here 6 - 7 times since 2007 and it is definitely a hit or miss type shopping experience for me. Sometimes I find some good items. On this trip I did not buy anything as I didn't see anything to my liking and the deals were not there! For me the key shops here are Nike, Banana Republic, J Crew, Polo, Coach, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer. You must look closely as the deals are not the best compared to other Premium outlet centres. I hope this place stays around however it does look like it's seen better days and my guess is it's 50-50 if it will be here for the long run! If Premium outlet mall management is reading this they could really do a number improving the food court and offerings. Really it's poor food at best. I ate at the Asian place and I'm not a picky eater (look at all my generous 4 star reviews) but it was pretty bad! If the name on the outside says Premium outlet you should strive for a Premium food court to compliment the supposed "Premium" outlet mall shopping experience! read more

Gaffney Outlets is your typical outlet mall, with a few higher end stores, Pottery Barn, Kate Spade and Coach, just to name a few. However, other than that there are your basic outlet stores with decent deals. I arrived around 12:30 to check out the food court before they opened at 1:30 and was extremely disappointed. Only four options, Chinese, Pizza, Nathan's and a Philly Cheese Stake Place. In addition, the food court does have vending machines, with soda and water and another for snacks. There is a bathroom in that building as well, and make sure you take advantage if you are near..there are only two other restrooms throughout the mall and both are half the size of the food court one. Overall, in my mind I have been to a lot better outlets, even the one in Charlotte, and not sure I would return other than for Pottery Barn since that is a standout from ones closing to me. read more

This is a nice outlet mall. We happened upon it while driving from Charlotte to Atlanta. They have the usual outlet stores and a couple that I don't see anywhere on the west coast. They have a Soma Outlet and a Pottery Barn. The Soma outlet has some really good deals on pajamas. I got 2 pairs for about $30. The Pottery Barn outlet is huge. They have a ton of furniture and bedding. A great place to go if you feel the need to buy overpriced furniture and bedding. read more

Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors Outlets all in one set of buildings... I can do that! The Coach outlet always has amazing deals. They practically give those things away. I love the Kate Spade store even though the deals are less impressive - the styles are really classic - not tied to any season - and they are great quality. So cute! I love Michael Kors - not so much his brand, but him personally - he cracks me up!!! He is so funny, but Michael, why do you hate discounts? His outlet stores are always around 20% off (ho hum, not impressed) The Bath & Body Works outlet was actually a great find here - I love their Stress Free Collection and the Lavendar pillow mist.. yay for sweet smelling soaps 3 for 10 I do love a deal. Gaffney Premium Outlets is conveniently located along the I-85 corridor in South Carolina between Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC. It's about 45 to 60 minutes away from each of those two cities, though I don't see any reason why someone from Charlotte would drive here considering Charlotte has Concord Mills. I guess these outlets are designed more for Greenville and Spartanburg residents. Gaffney Premium Outlets are just one of the many "Premium Outlets" owned and operated by Simon Malls. Metro Atlanta's North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, GA is an example of another one. Gaffney Premium Outlets are the only Premium Outlets in the state of South Carolina. I stopped by here over the weekend to check out some Memorial Day sales. These outlets have some of my favorite brands (Polo Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers). There's a food court and several restaurants and gas stations nearby. Came here for some flip flops while heading back up North. This place caught my eye from the highway. Caught a niiice deal at the adidas store. Nice deal! Went to Crabtree and Evelyn to get some lotion real quick and I was telling the sales lady exactly what I was looking for and she kept bringing me to the discount wall of items that I wasn't interested in. I want a single tube of lotion- she tryna beat me in the head with several bags of body scrub, foot scrub, spray bottles, lotions and potions. I guess she was tryna show me all the deals, but boo boo, sell me what I'm looking for.. Its my wallet, right? Grrrr.. I had to get up outta there. read more

They have great outlets, but are kind of dying a bit. Their H&M and Nike is great, but they don't have much that caters to young adults. They are in the process of remodeling and hopefully this will bring more stores. read more

What a waste of time. I had to kill time because my RV was being serviced nearby and I thought I'd have a great day shopping at the outlet mall there was nothing here I wanted to buy. There are very little occupied spaces there is a lot of empty stores and the merchandise is old. They need to put more into this or just close it down. read more

Stopped by on my weekend road trip with the family. The Coach Outlet store is my favorite go to spot when here. Got a great deal on a handbag. Parking is good in my opinion. I really wish they had a better options in their FOOD COURT!!! At the very least please bring back Cinnabon!!! Lol read more

While visiting my bestie, we headed about an hour out of Charlotte to go do some outlet shopping. She said that it's definitely gotten better since she was there last. There is plenty of parking. It's a convenient location, right off the freeway. There are a few buildings with plenty of stores. My gauge is usually - if it has a Coach and a Banana Republic - it usually has a good mix of stores. And this one did. There were a lot of places we didn't stop in since we were interested, but we did stop by Coach, Banana Republic, Gap, Carters, Osh Kosh b'Gosh, Ann Taylor, Loft, The Cosmetics Company, Pottery Barn outlet, and Nine West. We did go the monday after Thanksgiving, so there were some awesome sales and not too much of a crowd. It was rather empty which was nice. We didn't have to deal with the craziness the weekend would have brought. read more

We only come here to go to the pottery Barn outlet. They have some decent deals. The food court at the outlet is very dark and sad looking . I waited 10 min at that cafe place for a disgusting pretzel.. I should have just gotten in my car and went somewhere else for real food but I was waiting on someone. They have a playground in the boiling summer sun, but at least it's there for cooler days. read more

This is a good drive from the Charlotte area so I'd suggest making this a whole day trip. While only an hour or so away, it's still big enough to take up quite a bit of your day. This is an outlet mall, so all you're going to find are outlet stores...obviously. Some of the stores I've been to really do have some good deals, such as the Polo store where you can find some really good deals. Most of the stores are like this, so I'd suggest bringing the credit card because you'll find a lot of deals you won't pass up throughout the place. You can grab a bite to eat here as well, with plenty of options in & around the outlet mall. Remember that it's an outside mall, so you'll want to watch the weather before you take the trip down there. Make it a day trip & you'll be surprised at some of the deals you'll find. read more

I came by on a Sunday at noon. There were plenty of cars but nothing was open. I walked around for a while and eventually saw that everyone was in the food court. The food court opens at noon, and the mall doesn't open till 1:30. No clue why, nor were there hours posted anywhere except the food court. read more

Didn't care for this outlet. The only stores worth visiting are Nike, GAP, and Adidas. The Polo Ralph Lauren store was in shambles and the workers were rude. The outlet seemed out of touch and didn't seem like it belong. read more

It's a pretty decent mall. I only live about 20 or so minutes away from it. It's got Journeys, Rack Room Shoes, Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, Rue 21, a really huge Nike store, and even a BOSE factory store (which, if you can bear the retail prices, buy wireless speakers, headphones and sound systems). Food court is lacking in variety. There's only 4 restaurants. I know this mall is only 20 years old (it opened in 1996, the year *I* was born), but I once tried a buffalo chicken sub from The Great Steak and Potato Company, and I thought it was disgusting. I think Simon should put a Chic-fil-A in the food court; that would give the mall way more revenue than it does already. Two of the 3 coin-operated kiddie rides were broken. There's a dinosaur egg car which hasn't even been reported as "out of order". The Bert and Ernie fire truck ride was also out of order on 8/20/2016. :( In unrelated news, I rode on an airplane with Woody Woodpecker and Chilly Willy here when I was smaller. You won't find that ride here anymore :P The Gaffney Premium Outlets is an attractive, relaxing outlet mall. It's got your usual outlet stores, but I hope Simon adds more stores in the future (like: Hot Topic, a coffee shop, another toy store, comic book/video game store, etc.) read more

I think these are very typical outlets where you find items at a reduce price but not amazing deals unless you search hard through clearance and have coupons. It's like any store where sometimes you get the greatest steals but at least your are always going to get a slight discount from regular prices. Parking is great and there is almost always no issues finding a spot. There are a few restraurants near by but not the seclection one might think. read more

Let's see, this used to be a hoping place. It seams to be losing it's appeal. That's too bad. A bunch of shops were missing and some not so hot run of the mill types brought in.
