It's a rude power trip some like to play. The people doing the pickup area are hit or miss. Once a rude guy wheeled my order out on a big flat cart, checked my ID, and walked away for me to load my car and put the cart back so I left it taking up 2 pickup parking spots because it's not my job to do it's his. Lumber guys are good most of the time if you can actually find them. Paint people are usually okay. 99% of the time (I'm there A LOT doing DIY and gardening) it's self checkout no cash registers open.
