Also, the restroom wasn't very clean. The cashier was nice, though. She was definitely closed and ready to go, but she saw we only had a few items and took us anyway. They did have a few clearance racks, but some items were labeled, and some weren't, so you had to check at the register for the price. It wasn't necessarily that it was a misplaced item. But just that some weren't labeled. I'm glad we were just passing through. I'd be bummed to have this as my local Walmart.

There is more of a take on the beach area because of the location. So I try and take a moment to visit this store. Their organization is done well. I can find a few clothing items in my size. The staff have always been great. The fitting room is run like a well oiled machine. They are constantly cleaning it up and putting back items that did not work out. The shoe area is a good size and it is pretty well organized. The baggage area is a little small, but there is one there. I generally always find good deals here. HA, I am also finding things I don't need. Which really, that is what Marshall's is all about.

However, Southern Maryland ain't Jersey so the crowds were well behaved and the help was genuinely nice pointing you to neat and orderly racks gently persused by customers not looking for a cage match. I wish they had a little bit better variety of case beers. There are plenty of options for 6-packs, but when it comes down to party time, you really only get your typical domestic options. (Specifically - any type of Cider.) There seems to be a trend of unhelpful employees here. Once simple pet peeve, when you are asked where something is, don't point across the store and tell me "over there", give me an aisle, or better yet, take a little walk with me. This weekend we asked where something in the kitchen area might be and were told, (politely)... if we have them they are hanging on the shelf. Cool. Then we found what we were looking for 2 rows over on an end cap. I have never had anyone outright rude, but certainly never had anyone go out of the way to knock socks off with customer service.
