We asked again and she hollered, "I am busy what do you want!!??". That is not the attitude we expect from someone that is supposed to help and welcome customers. The Store Employees are supposed to be respectful to customers! We asked for her name and she did not want to give it so we asked again and she said Jan. She was belligerent, rude and acted very unfriendly. We asked to speak with the manager and she said she was. My wife and I looked at each other and we walked out. I called Saturday after hours and they had missed a toe nail on my other dog. So I didn't expect a phone call until Tuesday when they opened. I waited then called again on Wednesday and left a second message. They called me back on Thursday and I spoke with someone. I offered to bring in my dachshund(whose toe nail got missed) and they said they would talk to the owner and get back with me. I took my dachshund in,they fixed the toe nail, no one said anything to me about my other dog or reimbursement or anything. It's been a few weeks now and I never heard back from the groomer. Not once did anybody ask me if my dog was ok. Not once was I offered anything to fix the issue. Not ok.

I have to be honest we…read morehave utilized the services here occasionally as our normal groomer is always so busy and difficult to schedule at last minute ...perhaps I should taken note of that before I took my dogs back there ... but before we have not been as dissatisfied as this time. We have 2 golden retrievers and our youngest is losing his winter coat... so alot of fur and in need of a good grooming with trim. Please see what we got in photo below!!! Blisters from CLIPPER BURN and now infected. No they arent hotspots they were blisters that opened yesterday. My husband called after services and upon seeing the redness and blisters that formed he was not rude infact he used "disappointed with grooming and clipped too short and we never want him clipped that short again". Today at 8:03 am (the salon opens up at 0800 am) I received callback and it was "chelsea" and she was in rare form, right off the bat ready to let me have it and inform me "umm yes I was the groomer that clipped your dog and my clipper blades weren't hot and vet's misdiagnose this all time it's not clipper burn". Hmmm first red flag dading makes me think not the first time of this complaint. Looked into n reviews today and guess what it's not!!Then I hear a female in the background very caustic and cursing really loud and then i hear laughing. i asked Chelsea who is that swearing and yelling and is it directed to me and did they find this funny? Chelsea unbelievable answered "yeah and she is laughing at you because she knows that vets misdiagnose this all time". I said to Chelsea are you serious realizing at that point I knew I was speaking to a poor representative of this licensed business. So I asked who the owner was and Chelsea quickly responded " that would be my mom, Karen" and proceeded to give me an email address and then proceeded to say "well if he wasn't matted because you neglect your dog bc you dont brush him" , i said neglect my dog are you kidding me? If he had matting that bad then Chelsea, should not have clippered him to his bare skin if you couldnt see it. You should have taken more time and used scissors and products and again take time just don't clipper him directly to his skin. chelsea ended the conversation and said "well if your not happy, dont come back, we dont want your business". Umm do they really think I would take my dogs back there? Are you serious !! I emailed the owner "karen" and proceeded to go to the scheduled vet appointment. It was clipper burn and infact vet actually said it is one of the worst he has seen (a vet for years) and stated they clipper for surgeries and even they have not ever seen it as bad and he stated exactly what i said to chelsea if Teddie was "so matted" you don't clipper to skin. He said it is additionally infected directly at the level of skin. Shot, oral abx and topical ointment, and we went on our way. I still have not heard any response from owner! Poor business!!

They took my dog, called me to say he's done, I paid and then noticed his nails weren't done, I was told oh we couldn't do them because we don't have a muzzle currently. They also keep changing groomers and the quality has just gotten less and less and I really don't even know if there groomers even know what they are doing anymore.

I was able to have an online chat via pet insurance that gave me some ideas of what the issue could be. Then, the light bulb went off while reading reviews. I decided to try grooming to see if it could sooth his skin. I was a little hesitant as there were no recent reviews but I needed to try something and fast. I had a conversation with Patti over the phone and she was really patient in listening to my concerns. She was able to take us the next day and gave my boy a soothing medicated bath. He looked great and felt better. We still have to deal with the cause and flare ups but at least he is more comfortable. Thanks to Patti and team at Ruff Cuts.

She truly loves animals and you can tell as soon as you meet her. I have a temperamental Pomeranian mix, and he lets her groom him efficiently without issues. What is most remarkable about Patti is the care and affection she gives your pet. Not only did she trim my pom's feet for free on a nail-clipping only trip, but gave my chihuahua a mini-reikiki session because she is in congestive heart failure. Patti thought it necessary to give her a little extra love. Would you receive such service at a chain store? Absolutely not. The facilities may not be as conventional as others, but Patti has always done a wonderful job and her customer service is incredible. I will always be one to support small and local businesses, and Ruff Cuts is no different.

His nails are the shortest and smoothest he's ever had. No more tic tic tic on our hardwood floors. He was extremely happy he got to have fun and interact with the other dogs while waiting for us to pick him up. Will definitely be going back. She has a lot of hair, it's not matted, but there's just a LOT of it. She's usually pretty easy but it takes a long time to do her grooming because there's so much hair. Glad to FINALLY have found someone who cuts her hair the right way! She gets her ears cleaned and nails trimmed. The place is clean, quiet and uncomplicated. No drama at the front desk. Just a lot of puppies greeting you upon arrival !
