The garden/greenhouse area is large with a good selection. Prices area fair on most items. If you're buying name brand stuff, it's often at retail. But, they will have sales and some items are discounted well if your timing is right. If you need to get something from the loading area, they'll load it or help you load it if needed. Aside from a great selection of pet food, feeds and treats, this center actually gets a lot less foot traffic than the other locations and local garden centers in the area. I can tell because the nursery isn't picked clean after a long weekend and the quality of their floral/herbal selections is fantastic. I just last week got 3 herbs - basil, tarragon and rosemary all HUGE for less than $25. They'll easily double their size again and have since I got them. As far as gardening goes, I would start here as they may not be the cheapest, but the selection and quality makes them somewhat price competitive. They also have anything you'd need to get started as a novice gardener and everything the seasoned green thumb would want. They wont have all of these brand name funky items like a HomeDepot garden center would, but hey if that is what you are seeking, this is not the place to find it. Very friendly and locally oriented staff is not pushy and helpful with questions as they are actually knowledgeable about the products (also very much not like Home Depot) Only downside is the weird hours. I am a 9-5er and sometimes I just barely miss the 5:30 close time .. well actually always so when I plan to get there during the week, I make sure to on Thursdays when they are open till 7 pm. Weekend hours are also weird, and weirder still for holidays when you'd assume they'd be closed on .. they are open... but only for a couple hours.. and when you'd expect they'd have such limited hours on other holidays - they are totally closed. Then told me they're going to order it to get it in the store Yesterday or today. Call yesterday twice this still don't have it supposed to be in today so what do I do drive my husband to work to go make sure I have a card to go get the rabbit feed they still don't have it they order the 16%. Why order a pellets or 16% when you already have that that doesn't make sense to me. Then get told well I'm not sure what to tell you I can call my manager but I don't know what I'm gonna do then try offer me a total different brand of rabbit food. I even told the person that's how low you can't just switch rabbit food brands like that! Anyone that owns rabbit to know yeah I have to gradually switch rabbits over slowly if you want to switch with rabbit food. Yeah I really want to give all my babies and rabbits blow and end up turning into something else yeah great great job offering me different rabbit food. A few weeks after I spread the mulch on my garden a healthy crop of oat grass sprouted where I had spread the mulch. I called the store about the problem and the store representative blamed the problem on me, saying that I did not apply the product correctly. That is untrue. More importantly, the store representative refused to allow me to return the second unopened bale because I had not kept the receipt for the product. Very disappointing customer service from a store that sold a clearly defective product and refused to take any responsibility for doing so. Customers beware.

Someone met us to watch us load the soil we bought, i couldn't help but feel that the prices for the soil weren't marked for a reason and when we went to check out they were higher than what i wanted to pay but was already locked in. $20 off on an order of $100 or more with a Yelp check in but it will take probably about 15 minutes for them to enter that because not one has any idea what that means.
