I came in engagement ring shopping and found a ring that seemed promising. I asked if they could work with me on the price, and they said they would test it again using their machine. After waiting around 10 minutes for the machine to warm up, they came back and told me all the stones were actually lab-grown. I don't have an issue with lab-grown diamonds at all, but it was disappointing that the testing wasn't consistent from the start and that the information about the stones wasn't clear. I know pawn shops can sometimes have great deals, which is why I wanted to check them out, but this experience just made the process more confusing than it needed to be. Staff was polite, but more transparency on the jewelry and testing would have made this a lot smoother.

We stumbled upon this shop and spent a good amount of time exploring inside.
