purchased Xmas gifts early November and was told I could get price adjustments if items went on sale before Xmas by Meghan the cashier. Items went on sale (15% off) went back to store with receipt (still within 30 days) for adjustment and Meghan was extremely rude immediately told me no we can't honor that Without even knowing 1) what items I had that had gone on sale 2) when my initial purchase was made. I asked to speak to management and was told I would have to come back that Scott wasn't in. Later that day I called and spoke with John (assistant mgr) who said we can't do adjustments but he would allow me to return and repurchase the items. I told him I had already wrapped the items and asked If I could bring in the receipt only. he said no, I needed the items with me. After unwrapping the items I went back to the store where Meghan was nothing but rude and told me that they could not do the adjustment. She Remembered me and continued to tell me how they all talked about me coming in. I explained I had spoken with John and he okayed it. John was not in the store so I was directed to Kim (Kimberly) who is apparently one of the store managers or equivalent to one (She shouldn't even be employed In that line of work). She immediately had a nasty attitude towards me. I specifically asked to return and repurchase to get the sale price. She said she couldn't do price adjustments on the two items that were past 30 days (which was fine I didn't bring them in for that reason) but they charged me $10 more for the cost of a jacket when the sticker price had a different amount. Surprisingly miss attitude refunded the difference. I again specified that I wanted to return and repurchase so I could get the sale price. She was rude and acted put out of her way. She Said that it wasn't an ideal way to do it but if that's what I wanted, fine. I told her that it wasn't ideal for me to unwrap my gifts just to bring them in for the adjustment but I did. I also had to remind her that this was her job. She looked at me with attitude and rudely asked if I go around to all the other stores and do this. I told her no, but was told by her employee at time of the initial purchase if items went on sale from now until Xmas I would be able to get an adjustment. After dealing with her poor attitude I was able to get the sale price on my 4 items. I do have a new receipt showing a time stamp purchase of 12/11 so if the clothes purchased don't fit I can take them back and get a full refund Within the 30 days. I shouldn't have had to jump through that many hoops and waste my time just to save $50, Which per policy I was entitled to that savings from the beginning. I wasted more time and money out of principle. And for that I'm done shopping at TSC. Obviously customer service isn't a priority. I wasn't even rude and I didn't even raise my voice. I was matter of fact. I called corporate and turned the employees in and I am now leaving this review. Kim, if you're reading this, I don't leave bad reviews on all the other stores either. I only leave good reviews for individuals with excellent customer service. Given my personal experience with you I doubt you'll ever get one unless it's from a friend or Meghan (your cashier) who's just as rude as you are. read more
