We randomly found this place when we were en route to another big box hardware store - decided we didn't want to deal with the horrible parking and crowds at the more famous place and roared into the parking lot here. Good choice. We were camping down the road at Parvin State Park and needed some extra firewood, and wouldn't you know - they had some right in front of the store. The price was $5.99 - nearly $2-$3 less than other places we had previously checked out. OK, so it was soft wood and burned like a matchstick, but it was perfect as the base we needed to start a fire in a cast iron stove. They were having a cashier issue being short staffed, but they made an announcement overhead, solved the problem, and sorted everyone out. That's customer service. read more

First visit ever to a Tractor Supply Co. I LOVE that they let you take your dogs inside! Nice touch. Store is big, IMO. I cannot say how big compared to other TSCs but I took photos to show you. They carry a little of everything, particularly everything farm! I never saw egg collecting trays, or the stack of random huge galvanized rings out front (for what purpose I cannot guess). Had a large selection of Ariat boots for riding and casual wear. Lots of clothes, both specialty-functional for farm / riding / outdoors activities, as well as some fashion. Kids toys, dog toys, home decor, feed for various agricultural animals and pets, hardware, camping, etc. There was even a case of jewelry. I had never seen a salt lick up close. I remember my parents buying one for our neighbors as a joke when they had a christening party for their farm-sized windmill that they bought for decor when they sipped cocktails on the patio (this was a 5-acre luxury property, not a farm), but I never saw it up close. Anyway, finally got to see the salt and mineral licks, which look like pavers and were a $6.99 bargain for the huge size. We had seen online that TSC carries some grain free dog foods at prices FAR better than box pet stores, so we wanted to test a flavor or two with our dogs. One dog is allergic to most proteins, and the other can't handle fish. We settled on their boar meat canned food and a kibble version too. The price is great for a grain-free food. Though our nearest store is still quite far, we signed up for their TSC "Neighbor's Club" rewards program. They send you a reward on your birthday, as well as seasonal rewards. I was surprised to find that they do not offer a military discount here, since they have a lot of overlap with stores like Depot, who do. TSC does give military discounts on special occasions (like Veteran's Day), but it's not an everyday thing as it is with similar stores. All in all we found the store very interesting and full of products that are super helpful on a farm or just a regular household. Went to buy a pair of work boots today and wrote a check to them for the purchase and was declined. I feel that this is discrimination because I have to physically write a check in order to purchase anything from any store. They tried telling me that because I have never written a check to them before is the reason, I say bullshit they have lost my business forever read more

So disappointing. Staff standing around but no one offers to help you load cart or car. I have been to two other locations in south jersey and assistance was offered. My purchase was 40 lb bags. Poor customer assistance. read more

The name 'tractor supply' is a little misleading for this store because they have so much more! The store is loaded with clothing for outdoor work - like farming, caring for livestock, hunting, and anyone who works in the outdoors. There's also a large supply of animal (and pet) feed and supplies, which is what we were buying. Plus equipment for tractors, snow blowers, lawn mowers, etc... Some prices were quite good and others a little high. Not sure if they run sales very often since I don't live in the area. If I am in this area again and need anything they sell we plan to stop by. It's easy to get to and not as crowded as all the stores surrounding the Cumberland Mall. read more

I normally buy name brand premium canned cat food at other pet stores, but the other stores got greedy and at $2.39 for 1 premium 5 oz can of cat food - well I have to cut back at times - Tractor Supply has large cans of cat food for a lot less price - it's not premium, but if I give them some meat or chicken at other times - well can get thru the month & the cats are happy - they also have some premium cat food for less than other stores - it's a good place if your on a budget read more

I bought a Generac Generator here in November. Used it for 1.2 hours and then had it sit in my garage. Went to start it up and it had gas pouring out of the oil slot. Called Tractor Supply and the manager told me the best he came up with was check the instruction manual for a phone number for Generac.....really? $800 for an hour of use and they couldn't take a look at it? Typical short term thinking from a subpar store. I will not buy from them again. read more

I love this store! it took me awhile before I actually went into this place but im so glad I did. they have things you didn't even know you were shopping for but low and behold your walking out the door with a new pair of cow girl boots some tee-shirts, yard supplies and maybe getting to see some baby chicks. They have large animal supplies ,goats, horses, lamas and yes they have tractors. they also have some really cute porch swings too. ok I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. love it! read more

Had the front end of my car fascia REMOVED by a store employee's fork-lift. EVERYONE involved at this TSB store bent over backwards to facilitate the insurance claim. HOWEVER, TSB's insurance company .... SUCKS! Have YET to hear from them. Meanwhile we drive a car missing it's front end and TSB's insurance company CONTINUES to ignore us. LOVE this store AND employees ... accidents 'do' happen. But TSB's insurance company .... NO EXCUSE! read more

Posting for a friend who experienced this event today: This morning I had to run to Tractor Supply here in Vineland for chicken feed. Unfortunately my visit didn't end well---I always stop by and look at the section with the baby chicks. I saw another customer pointing with her husband and when I went to look in the tub they are housed in, a few were laying on the ground dead. She said she spoke to someone and they said they were fine, just sleeping. So I go up to front of store and ask who is in charge of them and a girl steps up and says I am. Her name is Danielle--I told her about the dead chicks and she said she just checked and they are fine, not dead just sleeping. I asked her if "sleeping" chicks allow other chicks to walk back and forth on them and peck at them. A very exasperated reply from her was "I already checked" I asked her please check again. She walks back towards the chicks and keeps walking and starts unloading feed bags. I'm getting alittle steamed and I walk up to a lady I think is the asst manager because I'm in there 1-2 times a week for something. I explain to her and she says "Danielle just checked" I told her I'm not leaving until someone goes in and checks again. She does and lifts 4 dead baby chicks out, I looked at her and said "I guess they weren't sleeping after all." I told her whoever is in charge of the chicks has them too over crowded. The baby ducks were packed so tight they could hardly move. My business with Vineland Tractor Supply is over, I will drive out of town to buy feed from now on. I did tell the second lady the girl needed an attitude adjustment. She didn't care about the chicks at all. All I'm asking is please stop in there and look and if you see them overcrowded please talk to the manager. Maybe if enough people complain they will take better care of innocent baby animals that don't have a chance of surviving. I know that baby chicks don't always survive and when I got mine two years ago I was a basket case afraid one wouldn't make it, that I would do something wrong out of ignorance to case its death. Worst store ever. I have never heard a yes how can I help you. Associates and managers seem ready to fight. Never have enough feed in stock won't honor their posted price match policy and always argue about manufacturers coupons. Tried to do business here many times due to the location and hours being relatively convenient but I'm through with them now.
