She was so condescending that she actually proceeded to throw a ball of paper she had crumpled up onto the counter in front of me instead of in the trash, and her coworker had to come over and take it. I had four items and it took five minutes for her to ring them up because she was so preoccupied with her conversation, and I couldn't pay until they had been scanned. Then, before I could swipe my card, she held my bag over the counter which was fine, but when I went to take it, she grasped it tightly and glared at me. So I had to swipe my card and awkwardly enter the pin with her dangling my bag in front of my face and refusing to allow me to take it because I hadn't paid. Why she couldn't just leave it behind the counter instead of dangling it next to my head is beyond me, but she seemed to have decided that because I was a younger client I wasn't worth doing the job she's paid to do. Nothing like being treated like a nuisance, having trash thrown in front of me, and then treated like a thief. Seriously, just go to Food Lion instead. Save yourself the humiliation.
