Went into this restaurant on a saturday evening with my in laws and mother. It wasn't table of five. We sat and waited about twenty minutes to get our drinks. The food is great, service is friendly. A very relaxed atmosphere. You can come dressing or come as you are. My wife and I visit regularly.

Well worth a drive, close to Canton and Farmington Illinois. Great steaks, and the best chicken. Friendly service. A true hidden gem.

The chicken the last two Wednesday's has been awful, I'm not sure what the change is but go back to what you were using or doing a month ago. It's sad that you would switch a good thing. read more

Tracy's Supper Club is one three restaurants to be found in Norris IL (pop 209). Normally the distance from our home (45 miles) combined with the fact there is no direct route to get there, would be enough to nix a visit. However, an invite from our favorite family members and the promise of "the best chicken livers you can get anywhere" could not be denied. Inside and out Tracy's is clean, neat and welcoming. There is a large white rock parking lot and an entrance ramp that is handicap accessible. Inside there is a large bar/dining area to the front with an overflow dining area to the rear. The front looks to seat about 50 people. (I never saw the rear area so capacity is unknown). There are several TVs scattered around the front. When we came in we knew we were in trouble. The place was jam packed. Owner Tracy Modglin and her small staff were valiantly trying to cope with an influx of 30 (!) people who walked in just ahead of us, but you could tell, their hair was on fire. So yeah we were there a lot longer than we had planned, but to their credit Tracy's crew while frazzled, never lost their good cheer. All the entrees at Tracy's is homemade and there is a special each night. The night we were there (Tuesday) it was chicken livers and gizzards. (Tracy told us that normally she orders 100 LBS of livers for the whole week and that she had gone through that amount on that one day). Some of that popularity may be attributed to a recent local TV spot called "You Gotta Eat" where Tracy's business was highlighted. Unlike my wife, I am not a huge fan of chicken innards, so I chose my old standby the homemade tenderloin. My sandwich (with fries) was delicious and generously sized for the price. However, when cousin Donna Jean (yes her family all uses two names) made that chicken liver promise she was spot on. My wife said they were in fact, the best livers she had ever eaten. I snuck one and even I had to admit they were darn good. Her meal, ordered with baked potato and applesauce provided more than she could handle so quite a few came home with us (I ate them cold for breakfast the next day so yeah, they were pretty good!) Our total bill with drinks $19 and change Tracy's Supper Club represents all that is right with America. Work hard, provide great value and good friendly service and the world will beat a path to your door. I know we will be back. read more

Ate our first evening meal some call it dinner, I eat supper, either way, the best livers and gizzards. The best I've ever eaten. The gizzards were soft, not rubbery like so many are. The blue cheese dressing & crumbles we're fabulous! Can't wait to go back for chicken and then a steak. read more

We've been there twice and my wife got a whole deep fried catfish wish was very good, and some fried chicken that was OK. I had a Rueben and a hamburger. Both good. One side dish sticks out in my memory that was excellent; and that was their vegetable beef soup. It was very tasty and more like stew as it was pretty thick with large chunks of meat. Service has always been very good there too. It's bar and grill with a decent sized bar and good tap beer. Good stuff. read more

We visited last nite for the last time. (used to be our favorite place) We were served leftover recooked mushrooms. Chewy and too salty. Also the fried chicken was obviously leftover and reheated. Same for the baked potato. Very disgusting food. What a shame. Used to be so good. read more

Hands down the best Fried Chicken around, every Wednesday night all the chicken, "real" mash potatoes, white or brown gravy, homemade coleslaw & green beans for $10. Wednesday have become dinner at Tracy's night with my family. Tracy is always present making sure the best quality food is coming from her kitchen. Tracy is 100% farm to table, she buys meat directly from the farmers. Worth the drive anytime, I live 45 minutes away from Norris. read more

Amazing! Don't know any other way to describe this establishment. From the time we walked in to the time we left they made us feel like we had been coming through the doors for years! Great menu selection from burger, wraps, steaks, chicken, pretty much anything you can name they will cook up for you. For appetizers we had haystack onions and fried green pepper rings. Onions were breaded nicely and cooked perfectly! The green pepper rings were a first for me and the flavor was great! I don't know who came up with them but they are on to something! My wife had there 1919 root beer served draft style in a frosty mug and it is very tasty. Food ordered varied from spaghetti to burgers and wraps, chicken sandwiches. Everything was delicious! The sidewinders are legit! The owner was very personable and came by are table and struck a conversation with us and let us know everything was made from scratch and that she challenges her kitchen staff to create new menu items monthly that she gives a trial run on the "white board menu" if they take off they are added to the menu which changes often. Don't be discouraged tho if you try something you like and next time it's not on the menu, they can and will make it for you, it just may have not been a hot seller to warrant menu space. This bar/grill is about 45 minutes from our house and to be honest I would drive 3 hrs to eat there! read more

Our meal was wonderful, it was served promply and looked as good as it tasted. We both ordered double cheese burgers and sweet potatoe fries.The meat was outstanding. I can not wait to go back!! They have fried chicken on wednesday. Mmmmm!!!! read more
