I walked into the showroom and was told that James would contact me. Over and over he lied to me and kept promising me a sink. Yes, I did try and have it repaired and it need replacement not repair, however, I had just had my entire bathroom done by Masters and I thought they would want to help. NOPE! They ignored me, they disregarded me and I will never use them again and I'm warning others of the terrible customer service they offer after the fact. As we all know, things happen and sometimes things just happen out of our control so I liked that assurance. Plus I had read about their quality and I liked what I saw. I don't believe you need to get custom everything but I also don't believe in buying the cheapest option available to you. This seemed like the perfect compromise. I was able to meet with a designer, and although we weren't changing much in the kitchen, as we were keeping the original layout, he was able to suggest where we could make some visual architectural tweaks to make the kitchen pop more. I very much appreciated that I could see a full sketch on the computer versus a drawing layout. Once I committed there was a deposit and then the remaining half down and the rest upon completion. I did have a hiccup with the crown molding being a different color, but they were able to order the correct one and it was shipped out within a month. However, I had to pay to have my contractor remove the initial molding and put the new molding up. There were also issues with holes not lined for shelving which we just have to live with or at some point commit to making our own holes. This is pretty poor. It has been about 6 months and so far they are holding up.

SERIOUSLY?...After I continued to call the manufacturer, did I get a commitment on when it would be shipped..ONE YEAR and a week, new, replacement door arrived from the manufacturer.Correct shade of white, but poor fitment which caused me to remove shelves to install and adjust. There was no way I would have trusted a third party to do this work. I hired a friend of mine who is a second generation cabinet maker. He had to re-design one of their cabinets which was made to wrong specifications. ALBA did pay for that mistake. There are no more excuses for improving this experience

We first met with them and scheduled our job and then had to postpone it for a couple of years after giving them a deposit. Bob returned our deposit even though he didn't have to. When we were once again ready, we didn't hesitate to give them our business. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the speed of it. Our bathroom was gutted on May 29 and completed on July 2, 2019. The only thing still to come is the custom shower enclosure. Chris coordinated all the moving parts and was here every day to work and to oversee anything that he didn't do himself (which was not much). He even went the extra mile and tested (and cleaned out!) our drains after installing the sink. This issue had nothing to do with the work he did; it was an existing problem. NJ Remodelers was recommended to us by a friend, and we would gladly recommend them for a kitchen or a bath remodel. We needed help with some of the unusual aspects of the design and Bob fit the bill by giving us lots of options from his years of experience. They are honest, trustworthy, and very communicative at every step of the project. Chris made sure we were satisfied with everything--a trait that I have not seen before with the many contractors I have hired over the years. Every day, Chris was a pleasure to work with due to his cheerful attitude and the fact that he really enjoys his job. He went over everything he had done and was going to do each day. He put up with all my nit-picking without complaint and delivered a beautiful bathroom in a challenging, small space. NJR is generous about passing their contractor's discount along to their customers for tile, fixtures, and anything else that they can buy at a lower price, so the cost is very reasonable and fair. They recommend suppliers who they have relationships with and know are reliable. Chris knows how to keep the project running as smoothly as possible. You won't be sorry if you choose this family business!

While seemingly nice folks (dad and son), they did not wear masks…read morecoming into our home (of two young children) - NJ Covid rate is at 12%, nor did they remove their shoes (all of our shoes are visibly on racks by the doors), nor wore booties. I even repeated the request as we also just had our master bedroom carpets professionally steam cleaned. They said their boots were clean, and I felt bad as the dad's back was obviously an issue as he used a cane and asked in advance over phone how many stairs there were. Went over a few small quick projects, they said they could do it right away and would get back to me quickly with a quote. I waited, and waited, and five days later I finally reached out to them. Nearly 10 hours later they send me a copy/paste email response that they got a job they bid on and won't be free again until September. It was early November when they came to my house. I can only imagine what kind of service they provide if there were issues with their work on the backend if this is their front end. Highly disappointed in their business etiquette, but perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. Please note that I originally posted a one star rating as I was furious and disappointed in how we were left out in the cold to now have to rush during the holidays (Thanksgiving is in two days) to find a reputable company. The reason for my updating to three stars is simply for the fact that the father had written the attached apology following receipt of my response to them echoing similar disappointment and disapproval in how they mismanaged communication on this.

My husband and I…read morepurchased our home two years ago this month and wanted to do extensive repairs prior to moving into it, which included the following projects: complete kitchen overhaul, removing a jacuzzi tub that was in disrepair and installing a new stall shower in the master bath, installing a new powder room on the main level, refacing the fireplace in the living room, building an entryway to the backyard from the kitchen, including stairs, and building an overhang in the backyard so we could grill all year. Timeline for all of the projects: about 8-9 weeks with painting of every room in the house. Dominic/Showplace had been referred to us by a friend, who had previously used him for a smaller project a couple of years earlier and had a good experience. We are very thankful. We lived out of state at the time and needed someone we could trust who would oversee the project. We also were going to be out of the country for 2.5 weeks of the 8 week timeframe, which made trust an even bigger issue. Showplace didn't disappoint. Dominic arranged to meet us at our house at convenient times (in the evenings or weekends) so that we could make sketches and plans. He also gave us a list of vendors to meet with so we could pick our materials, each of whom were fantastic. All projects were completed on time and on budget without any surprises. We later used Showplace several months later to replace our pool shed. His team poured a new foundation and put together the shed that we had ordered from Home Depot. It is a huge improvement from the one that was on the property when we bought the house. Each of the contractors and vendors that Showplace uses is professional. Dominic responds to any questions and concerns in a timely fashion - day, nights, and weekends. We love the way each of the projects came out and have Showplace to thank for it.

They prepared a CAD for the kitchen cabinetry and an attractive center island that opened the kitchen into the dining room and sitting area. Nearly a year later, my wife and I marvel at the beauty of the redesign and quality of construction. The demolition and installations went smoothly and timely. A special shout-out to Faseeha Ahmad, the interior designer, who repeatedly exhibited her talent at matching color, style, and placement--even joining us to select a couch, area rug, and other complementary touches that brought adjoining rooms into harmony with the remodeled kitchen. Faseeha was professional, friendly, and mindful to work within our budget, often suggesting ways to achieve the same results at a lower cost. We heartily recommend the entire team at Best Carpets. I called many months ago and spoke with the owner (Mike) to replace damaged laminate flooring in a business in my commercial building. The owner, Mike, had came and measured and said it would be done soon. Several weeks had went by with no calls or updates. I was wondering why no one reached out to give me a status update, so I called the owner. When I called him, he said he would call me back in a few minutes but never did. I was starting to get "fed up" and reached out again, and he started ignoring my calls. When I became totally fed up and left a voicemail of my displeasure, he then put me on automatic - voicemail. I was a loyal and dependable customer to them for years without any issues. I talked to my friend who referred me to Best Carpets and Interiors and I found out that the company's business practices are not what they used to be. Basically, if you are not a "big job" like a large scale renovation, you are but on the "back burner". I was really "stunned" because the job I needed done was an easy one or two day job. (laying down laminate in a room in my tenant's beauty salon. I referred people to Best Carpets in the past, but " never again".
