The associates were so kind and helpful in exchanging and helping find the right fit. I told her what I needed and she suggested something I hadn't thought of but should have known myself.....this is the place if you have recurring foot problems due to frequent injuries or too many sports. They're knowledgeable and care about getting you the right thing, even if it took two tries. Also, they can do an x-ray type thing to help diagnose what shoe you need which also taught me a lot about finding the right shoe everywhere

This was the worst experience at a DSW ever! The employees were so incredibly rude! Then - the cashier! The queen of eye rolls! She asked me a question that sounded like a mumble - I literally had zero idea what she asked. So, she said it louder, after rolling her eyes, but in the same mumbling voice. We asked if we got the BOGO special, and she said "I guess, you got some discount" - then she simply walked away. I mean, sorry you hate your job! I can't imagine acting that way at work. Nobody here seemed happy. I was glad they had the shoes we wanted, but left feeling like we had been a massive inconvenience to the employees.

I asked a few questions. After several rude comments, I finally said "It is fine. I just won't come back." The manager then said "Well what did you expect? We don't give away items for free." It always amazes me the way these employees talk to customers. If it were not for us, none of you would even have a job. There are too many shoe stores in the area for me to worry about this place!

The service in the store measured up to the quality of the clothes - and she promised to let me know as soon as it was ready. We're alright. You don't have to spend a lot to look good, but a little extra never hurt. Shirts, suits, and ties at The Gentry Shop may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. This is a haberdashery, not the denim and gun aisle at Walmart. Gentlemen of height greater than average will appreciate the fine tailoring done here, particularly with respect to neckties. For those 6'2" and above--not an insignificant percentage of modern American males--standard length ties will simply not do the job. Starting a unicorn ranch is easier than finding handsome, quality extra long ties. But there's hope. The Gentry Shop (although they do have a few good long ties) will expertly lengthen a regular tie and ship it to you. You may be wearing a once lilliputian cravat, but your friends and colleagues will be none the wiser, and compliments will commence.
