We decided to come to this Walgreens to see what options they had for charging blocks. They did have several options for charging blocks but I ended up getting a power bank so I could charge my phone while walking around. The line was pretty long but this was to be expected near the Riverwalk and the night before Christmas eve. The line did go quickly. Did you know that you can legally drink alcohol out in the open along the Riverwalk? You can't have an open container while walking around at street level, but on the river, it's all good! One option would be to get a drink at the local bars, which tends to be expensive, and they're not generally happy with you running off with their glassware. Therefore, going to Lucky's is always a good option! You can grab a quart or a tallboy here, get it in the paper bag if you insist on drinking on street level, but you don't need it for the Riverwalk! Drink up, buddy! This place seems to sell a lot of crap! They have a variety of San Antonio souvenirs- t-shirts, hats, and such. I didn't see anything I needed. When I went, there were a couple of homeless folks in here. One was buying a fake rose packaged in a glass tube, and steel wool. Hmmm... The beer was cold, but they didn't have the sizes that I'd prefer for drinking on the Riverwalk. Buying a six pack rarely makes sense when you can keep buying individual beers, since the six-pack will get warm in the Texas heat quickly. There are better options around here for what you wanna get from here- there's a Walgreens down the street, and a CVS down the river. There's zero parking for this place.

Half of the market was closed off, but something new that popped up near the front of the store was a coffee/smoothie bar. We stopped in for a quick to go order of a coffee, pastry, and smoothie. I loved the fact that there is an option to make your own. I was able to choose my base, 2 fruit options, and a veggie. I chose - blueberry, strawberry, (comes with a banana), spinach, and almond milk. Perfect! Healthy and fresh. The girl behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. There's also a gelato bar.
