My new bag, only 99 cents!

Up until today the only reason why I came to this particular location is strictly for the great prices and quality of the food items. This location is quite busy and I will say that the staff is amazing, but it's the customers in the store, that' spike up my anxiety lol However, today was a great day, and the person that made it extra special was Rosie who was my cashier. She greeted me with a smile. She asked me how my day was. We had a little conversation and she said I appreciate customers like you. This is why I work here. That alone made me feel special. Now, since I can't stand the paper bags that are mandated in the state of California I was so inclined to purchase a reusable bag and I'm glad that I did because it is so cute.

Love coming here since they have so many different things they offer. It was pretty busy when I came which is a lot of times. They have remodeled the place since I last reviewed it. The freezer section is bigger and seems to have more room to look at everything. They have a lot of frozen stuff and it is unique and mostly good. I love trying new frozen foods here since they are good . The service here is amazing and they will always help you when you need it. The store is usually stocked and the produce is fresh with some great prices. It's definitely worth a look

First time buying their infamous Trader Joe's Halloween minibags. We have to thank Nadine, Yelp Hawaii extraordinaire for the tips! We normally don't shop here regularly. Go figure bc they are close by but we have plenty of grocery stores even closer to us. My wife wanted the purple & black Trader Joe's bags. She didn't realize how small the mini was. It's ok. They are kind of cute & are useful down the line. That morning we were there a few hours prior. By 8 AM the line extended past Skechers if you're aware of this strip mall it was a very long line!!! But for 2.99 each why not? They did limit us 1 per color at 4 bags total. If you needed to use the restroom you would have to drive elsewhere. You're not allowed in the store until 8 AM. At least we survived this monumental purchase! Watch those bags are sitting there overnight at the grocery store!!! Heehee...

This TJ's recently underwent a remodel and it is lighter, brighter, and easier to get around now. They also added another freezer aisle so there's a bigger and more bountiful section of your favorites. There is some adjustment as some things have moved around but it's much easier to navigate the store with the new layout. Yesterday I went shopping for my sibkid with their list -they are heading back to college this fall. I wanted to jumpstart their supplies so they have their faves starting day one. The store had everything in stock and I could buy multiples of their favorites. Very grateful for this location. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind and the customers are easy to get along with (a big switch from East Sacramento's Folsom Blvd. location). Parking is ample.

Lots of great fresh produce, spirits, beverages, cheeses, condiments and convenience foods. But, folks inexplicably go insane for insulated TJ lunch tote bags. Service is "Friday Casual" everyday. It's a "Handwritten sign, Turn-em, Burn-em" vibe. Sometimes you can find interesting wines, scotches or bourbons once you elbow your way through Yoga Moms, Seniors, and yuppies.

I wish I had a closer Trader Joe's location. Nonetheless, i travel to the Elk Grove location for my Trader Joe's stuff. You don't have a list but end up putting a lot of things in your cart by the time you walk around the store. Recently, the expanded the frozen aisle section and its bigger that means more selections and more things that go into the cart! Lots of options to pick from frozen food and or fresh fruits. Love it! It's always packed during the weekends and parking takes a little bit of time. The service is always fast and friendly.

So organized with the mini canvas bag craziness! Limit 2. I got the blue and green and my husband got me the red.

Always a great experience at this trader joe's. Anytime I need help the employees are usually pretty helpful with finding what I'm looking for. Came in today for the mini canvas bags! This store has a limit of 2 per person. My husband came with me so he got me the red one. There was no chaos like you see online. There were over 100 people in line but once the store opens the line moves pretty fast. I was in and out within 10 mins. If I didn't do some quick grocery shopping I probably would have been done in 2 mins. That is how lightning fast they were. The employees were not playing. They were set up so well it was such a calm shopping trip instead of stress and chaos. I will definitely keep shopping at trader joe's not only for the excellent customer service but their amazing selection of yummy food and snacks.

I love Trader Joe's! I view Trader Joes as a Chick fil A version of a grocery story. The customer service is on point and the cashiers knows how to knock out a long line. I've never been to a chain grocery store that performs as well as Trader Joe's on top of that, all the grocery items are well organize. It's never scattered all over the place. Overall, I would strongly recommend Trader Joe's because it's affordable, quick, and yummy!

Loooove me some TJs...and I'm there EVERY WEEK. From their regular staple items that are consistently good to their special seasonal items, TJs always brings the fun and goodies!! I look forward to seasonal items like Pumpkin Kringle (from Wisconsin) to the latest find - Phyllo Crisps! I never know how to stick to my grocery list when I come here....but honestly, that's part of the fun.

I love coming here to try new things and their flowers are awesome too. You can always find a variety and different price points. Staff is always friendly. They have a great wine and beer selection. Plenty of parking but it gets busy throughout the day. This location is right next to Home Goods & Kohls. There are other retailers in this plaza as well.

    No regrets

I love it here. Friendly & helpful employees, a wide variety of fresh and not fresh items, alcohol, the whole shebang and more. What more could we ask for. I don't come to TJ's often, but when I do, it's to get a couple things but I always end up leaving with an overstuffed basket. I purposely avoid getting a cart for this very reason

The berries looked beautiful -- fresh, bright, and exactly what you want when you're making something special and don't want to risk disappointing fruit. Produce quality really does make a difference, especially when it's the star of the dish. I also ended up finding a garlic olive oil I've been looking for, which felt like a bonus win. Nugget is great for those moments when you need something a little more specialty and don't want to drive all over town searching for it. The store was clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out of, which I always appreciate when I'm just popping in for a few things during a busy day. It's one of those places where you can reliably find quality ingredients whether you're cooking something special or just grabbing everyday groceries. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

The fresh baked bread here seems to be the best compared to other grocery stores in the area,…read morehowever it costs a lot more. The pugliese bread is my favorite as it is soft, fluffy, and taste delicious! The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast.

Right away this one felt a little harder to navigate. At the Land Park store, everything flows really well, especially the drink section where everything is grouped together. Here, it felt more like we were walking around trying to find things, especially the smoothies. It turned into a bit of a "where is it" moment instead of just grabbing what we needed and going. Once we did find everything, the selection was still solid and had what we were looking for, but the layout just didn't feel as intuitive. Helpful tip: If you're coming in for drinks or smoothies, give yourself a few extra minutes to find them since they're not all in one place like other locations....they can be found by the deli and fruit. I stopped by the store this afternoon to get a few items. There was a shopping cart with various items in it, like mugs, s'more sticks, etc., and the shopping cart was labeled "75% off" for members. In the cart was also several small fruit cutting boards. I liked them, so I took three. There was no price label on any board. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier, Rachel, for a price check. The price came up as $14.99 each, no discount. I said I did not want them for that price, and that they were in the basket that said "75% off." Rachel responded that I was the third person that day to have them put back because the discount was not being applied. I told her that I really didn't want to put them back, and I think something needed to be fixed because they were being advertised as 75% off. Rachel asked if I'd like to speak to a manager and I said yes. She called the manager, Jason, over to help. He scanned the items again and confirmed that the discount was not being applied. He then offered to give me all three for $14.99. I said "Well no, because that would only be 66% off." Jason then looked at me incredulously and said "Wooooowwwww" as if he felt I was being unreasonable. Jason then rang the cutting boards up at $3.99 each (which is still not 75% off, but I didn't feel like pointing it out and being subjected to more attitude). Jason left and Rachel finished the transaction. Rachel then went on an on about how because Jason "did that for[me]" I could not return the cutting boards. I responded that I was not going to try to return the cutting boards, I obviously want them. She said "well someone might try and return them for $14.99 each!" and said it would reflect negatively on her because it was her register. I said to her again "I'm not going to return them," and she responded "there are cameras all around anyway." What was that supposed to mean?! I started to leave the store but the more I thought about it, the more upset I was with the experience. I turned around to ask Rachel what Jason's name was, because I didn't catch it during the first interaction. She told me his name and I said "thank you" but as I was walking away Rachel AGAIN said "You can't return them!" I did call Raley's corporate to tell them about it, and they focused mostly on the items not accurately reflecting the advertised discount. I reiterated that the main problem for me was the employees acting like I was being unreasonable for requesting the advertised discount. I'll probably continue to shop here because it is the most convenient grocery store near me, but I do feel like the staff needs a refresh on consumer protection laws and how to interact with customers who are simply expecting the advertised price or discount of an item.
