This place is awesome. I've been a Trader Joe's fan as far back as I can remember but this location is heavenly! It used to be a Vons so they have wide aisles and a whole separate storage section so they can guarantee that once Mother's Day comes around, they will be properly stocked with flower options. Parking can be little annoying, especially during peak hours, but you can always park at the Tesla charging station (free 45m public parking) OR in the neighborhood. The staff here is always super relaxed, nice, and helpful. Great atmosphere.

3/8/26 SPRING is definitely in the air, yes, stop and smell the flowers (it's early for spring & I'm here for it, where's my Zyrtec?) I forgot I had visited this location already & I'm overcome by the beauty that is, SPRING! It's Sunday, it's a-buzz here but everything is just peachy. Wonderful staff, great quality produce, competitive prices, as they say what's not to love? Parking is a little crazy, but we found a spot right off . Let's get to shopping for the week! Well, for now, I just need to get cream cheese and spreadable butter, that start with that

Trader Joe's in South Pasadena is one of my favorite grocery stores. I love that they offer quality food at really fair prices it makes eating healthy so much easier. I'm always looking for good protein and healthier products, and this location never disappoints. From their frozen wild-caught fish, chicken, turkey, and tofu to their fun snacks, fresh produce, and unique seasonal items, there's always something new to try. The store is easy to shop, always clean, and the layout makes sense (which is not always the case in other grocery stores!). Parking can get a little busy at times, but it's worth it. What stands out the most is the customer service. The team here is always friendly, helpful, and genuinely seems to enjoy working with customers. They'll go out of their way to check if something is in stock or recommend a product they personally love. That personal touch makes a huge difference. South Pasadena Trader Joe's really has a welcoming neighborhood feel, and it's definitely a store I look forward to shopping at every week.

Needed to pick up some cheese (Fromage Pave) only available during the holidays is what I read. I had a screen shot of the cheese I was looking for. I couldn't find it but the cashier walked me over after checking online for inventory and delivery dates. She looked at the photo and found the last two. I was super excited to come home and give it a try. Definitely one of my fave stores to visit. Service was outstanding!!

This is a premier Trader Joe's that is truly the best Trader Joe's in the 626. It is probably second only when compared to the Newport Beach store which is a high-rent area and probably caters to the upper crust. Anyway, I completely enjoyed buying my frozen pizza, which is my staple when I have nothing else I want to eat. I'll be back for more pizza in a few weeks...

Went in last week for the first time in this location. Nice and spacious store! Friendly staff! Easy peasy parking! Great selection of products and nice and fresh produce! Trader Joe's rocks again! I work nearby so it's very convenient to come after work and pick up some items!

When I heard the rumors that TJ's was opening in the old Vons location, I thought it was too good to be true. Turns out, it was true! I'm surprised by how quickly the remodel was done. This is probably the biggest Trader Joe's that I've seen. It's Super Market size - spacious with plenty of room to maneuver your shopping carts and there's parking! Yaassss! Parking my friends. They carry the same products as the other stores with a wider selection of fresh flowers. It was busy when I stopped in. All checkout lanes were open with friendly faces ready to assist. The store on Mission is still there, but this place will be my shopping destination.

On a Sunday afternoon in late November, I stopped by to see if I can parking which I did. The parking looked busy and luckily found a spot. The ambiance was nice of Lots of browsers in the spacious store. I kept bumping to other carts. The only aisle that wasn't busy was the bread area. There was 2 samples tables and it was nice trying out food. We found poultry sample kit, Harry and David pears and collapsible tote bag. The lines to pay was short and my cashier was nice and friendly. FYI, they open 9am to 9pm

Brand new and closest Trader Joe's to home ever... yes please! Five stars!!!!! This Trader Joe's just opened late October, 2024, occupying the former Vons store at Fair Oaks and Monterey Road. This new location is so much bigger than any other Trader Joe's in the surrounding areas! So much aisle space available! Store traffic has been nonstop but it definitely doesn't feel too busy since it's so roomy and so much space to move around and browse for new food finds! Taking my time and looking for new food discoveries is what makes Trader Joe's such a neat place to shop! As for the parking, it's been busy so far since the store's opening. If it's really busy, there's always free street parking at adjacent streets. After my second visit on a Saturday, we decided to drive by the closest Trader Joe's on Mission Street, also in South Pasadena. This is probably the smallest store in the surrounding areas. Found it hilarious that this one didn't seem busy at all with only half of the parking stalls taken. If the new one is too hectic when you drive in, there's always another store less than a 2 minute drive!

On Monday they open a brand new Trader Joe's in South Pasadena on first day they were a long line around the cornet fir the Grand opening of Trader Joe's. This location use to be a Vons supermarket but last year they shutter down then we heard they building a Trader Joe's at the same location. Today my wife and I went to the new Trader Joe's we were surprised how many come and shop at the Trader Joe's they were no parking, then we decided park were my work at and we walk. We got a shopping cart and step wow it looks very nice from the old Vons market inside is pretty big and hold many items very impressive. You can everything here at Trader Joe's and they other Trader Joe's. We got thing we need then we went to cashier lane. The cashier was very friendly and give great smile say thank shopping at Trader Joe's.

This Thanksgiving week reminded me why I love Mission Wines, Chris, and the staff-- I was in a hurry and so I bought wine at Bristol Farms. It was a winery I'd bought before, I looked at the online ratings for the wine and seemed solid Got it home and meh. I said to myself -- next time I'm just letting Chris and his team pick my wines that way no mistakes or off years for me. With so many wineries -- no way I can keep up. Missions Wines is like a sommelier shop on that there is something excellent at each price point -- bottles under $20 will be terrific. Lighters, ashtrays, cozy chairs, all cigar accessories and cutters available. It's a cigar bar meets a sports lounge and the vibes are chill. We popped in to catch the Argentina vs. Switzerland match and ordered food nearby. Him at Gus's nextdoor and me via a DoorDash drop off from Maciel's off York Blvd, less than 3 miles away. I had one of the best big gauge Lunatic brand cigars and noted a lot of others I'd come back to try or stock up on here. Service was friendly and all the guys enjoying their evening cigars were as well. Everyone really got into the games, Dodgers on the other big screen being defeated. Easy parking shared with Gus's BBQ nextdoor, which had non-stop foot traffic. Plenty of gents trickled in to the Fair Oaks as well. We had a couple of sodas here, nice and cool from their cold box with water and other ready to grab bevs, but no cocktails as it's more of a spirit shop in that since. Though I would definitely partake next time in a bottle purchase to support this cool small biz. I'd imagine there's a fee possible for opening up in shop, but you never know. Impressive selection of Scotch, Whiskey, Wine and more. Cigar boxes for sell for really great prices, a few get displayed right outside the entrance. Open from 10:30am til 9pm daily, but they definitely won't rush you out right on the dot. Clearly value their customers, new and longstanding.

Not only did he take the time to explain several cigars' flavor profiles, he took the time to drop some knowledge on the punch cut along with other useful info. He didn't try to upsell but also introduced me to some equipment I'd be needing in the near future. 5 stars for the incredible service! There were a few gentlemen enjoying their cigars while watching sports on the TV. I'm definitely going back for more!

I talked and exchanged emails with the store manager for a couple of weeks including the day before the event to ensure that everything was good and ready to go and I got confirmation that all was well and ready to be delivered. The order was supposed to be delivered to the venue at 11am for the party which was starting at 6pm to allow time for bartender to refrigerate the beer and prepare for the event. I get a call from the venue 20 minutes before the party is starting telling me that the order was never delivered. I frantically call BevMo to find out what happened. The person that answered the phone had no clue so after my insistence, he said let me try to go check. He came back and calmly said "the order is in the back and it never went out". Didn't attempt to offer any resolution. After more insistence and back and forth, I finally convinced him to call the store manager. Thankfully they put a rush order on the delivery, but it arrived almost an hour after the event had started. I conveyed to the store manager how upset I was that things were late, that no one had contacted me, that guests would be served warm beer, etc. She said she would talk to her staff the following Monday to find out what happened to ensure it never happened again and that she would get back to me about how they could redress the situation. Monday came and went. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday... Finally on Friday I sent the manager an email letting her know that I never heard back and that I was willing to communicate and share more details about my poor customer service experience. I got back a short email on Saturday saying that I wouldn't be charged the delivery fee and that they would take $20 off my $500 order. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again in the future.
