Love this store and it's curated items. I've been both a buyer and a consigner. The owner knows what sells and what doesn't, so don't expect everything you bring in to be consigned. She is honest in her assessment and fairly prices items. Note to consigners: the online system in place offers full transparency in sales. read more

The owner can be quite rude. She doesn't like it if you don't leave items past 30 days. Your items price drops after 30 days. You end up with less but she gets her cut. There are many resale shops now. One can switch around and possibly sell the item in another shop. Sometimes I just take the items to a charity store. read more

I asked the owner what the price was for leather recliner as it was not posted and her reply was "It will be around $500" but her tone was insinuating that I couldn't afford it! I'm a 50 yr old woman! Shocked me!! Won't be returning! Never assume! read more

Horrible experience here today. I fell in love with an ATHLETA jacket that fit perfectly. It was listed for $65, when looking the item over in detail I noticed that it was quite dirty on the bottom and had a noticeable stain on the inside of the jacket. I took it to the employee who actually appeared to be the owner. I told her I was in love with it and brought it to her attention that it was dirty and had a stain and asked if she would take down the price due to the imperfections. She was a cold woman, did not seam friendly or have what appeared to be any basic customer service skills. She took the jacket from me and began to wipe it down with a baby wipe said that it looked like someone probably got out of their car with it on. She then pointed to the tag and told me that the jacket was machine washable and that I could "wash it". Call me crazy, but I don't want to spend $65 on a dirty jacket with a stain and be told that I can "wash it" I have a small resale business myself and I would never have treated a customer or dirty product like this. After she whiped it down with the baby wipe and told me we would "see what happened" I continued to shop. I was reluctant to even spend a dollar in this store but did end up purchasing something. While checking out the other woman was much kinder and conversational. I told her that I was working with the other woman because I was interested in the jacket but it was dirty. She told me that she was unable to discount it because of "the brand" I politely passed on the jacket but was happy with my other item. This experience makes me reluctant to return or recommend that anyone else visit the store. I was honestly shocked with what I experienced. I understand this is a resale store with used items but it's unrealistic to charge escalated prices for dirty and stained items. What was the cherry on top is that the cold woman who I am convinced is the owner began to speak poorly about me to the other woman as I exited. I was kind and polite to her didn't ask anything that in my opinion was not a reasonable request and was treated so poorly. I even voiced my excitement for the other item as I politely passed on the jacket. Such a sad experience as I love to thrift and there were other nice items. I like to support positive kind local businesses and this was just not the experience I had here. read more

I had an awful experience as a first time person coming in with possible things to consign. The woman was rude and dismissive. She had no sensitivity to the fact that we had never done this before. I'm not sure how you can tell something is "too worn" by not looking at it. I saw plenty of things in the store that looked more worn to me (and would never buy), and wondered why you would agree to consign a taped up box of expired Mary Kay. We also got different direction from the person who we spoke to on the phone vs this person and vs the website. They are not consistent with messaging. I bought a few things last time I was in, but won't return if that's the experience I can expect. What happened to polite customer service? read more

Absolutely the worst experience there more than one time. The lady that reviews the clothes is horribly rude and lacks any type of customer service skills. I love the place but after the last 3 encounters with them, I will not be back. read more

While I did usually like to shop here I must warn people. They require you to spend a minimum of $10 on a debit or credit card which is a violation of the merchant agreement with Visa or MasterCard. This store has been around for over a decade and has been a favorite of mine until the new owner took over. She is rude and condescending. I used to spend money there weekly until she bought store. She is overwhelmed and 99% of staff has quit since she has been there. BEWARE read more

This is a fabulous store full of treasures. My kids and I found arm loads of things that appealed to us--giving me a jump start on school shopping. Be sure to check out the basement if you are hunting for clothes because there are lots of bargains down there. "Designer" clothing is on the main floor and there are great deals there, too, if you seek out labels. Also, If you are looking for furniture and home goods, unique items come in daily. Overheard a conversation there today between employee and customer. The owner was standing there too. The customer wanted the money that was on her account. Owed to her from items she brought in and trading closets sold. (They keep 50pct of sale price). She was told she couldn't have it. They didn't have the money. To come back next week. Not good to hear. Wonder how long they will be around? read more

Very nice shop. Diversified merchandise, Friendly staff. My only problem with this business is that I can't determine how they evaluate items. I'm a regular customer and am very familiar with their merchandise. I find many lovely and worthwhile items but at the same time, I find many that are extremely outdated, especially in décor; some of the clothing is definitely not acceptable. It never ceases to amaze me at the items they turn down. When the items I take in are compared with many of the items on their floor, usually they are of at least as good as or of much better quality and design. I understand why they don't want damaged or dirty items, but they will often turn down something with a small flaw that would be very acceptable to the average buyer. I've purchase items with "flaws" that could be fixed and managed to repair them. Supposedly they sell nothing that has any "flaws" whatsoever. I know they want quality items to resell, but it's not always quality items that they offer. When I take things in I prepare myself ahead of time to not be offended. No rhyme or reason. read more

Been in several times in the past few months to collect on items sold. Continue to be told there is NO MONEY for payout. How is this possible! ? Or even Legal? When an item sells shouldn't half of the money be put into escrow for the consigner? Very shady. Once I finally can get my cash, I will not be taking any more items to sell. This is the second time our bus "tour" has ventured here as one of our stops. While a majority of my fellow shoppers spotted a Salvation Army across the street and went in that direction, we started towards the building. We struck up conversation with a woman who's items were not selected by the consignment shop and asked to take a peek. Boy did we ever hit the jackpot! NYDJ with tags, 7 for All Mankind with tags, Chico's, Vince, RL and thick Irish knit sweaters! Once we did venture inside, the clothing selection was disappointing to say the least. Hit the clearance rack at Target instead! The furniture and home accessories expanded and nice finds on this side. read more
