I booked this place on hotels.com on short notice, after midnight. They couldn't of been nicer or more accommodating. The room was clean and fresh smelling, the bed was comfortable, and one of the best showers I've ever had! They do have a Tesla charger you can use for a fee, which is wonderful because it's pretty sparse out here. The closest super chargers are Goodland or Limon.

And all this came at the price of $165.00 per night. Beds are comfortable & room is clean. Staff is hit or miss depending on who you get. When I called about the heater & air not coming on & the room being hot I was told to open a window. Just if at all possible go elsewhere. This place is not safe & secure, nor in good repair or updated. The price is ridiculous for what you receive.

Breakfast was raspberry cream cheese stuffed French toast with scrambled eggs (+ chives and feta) with chicken-apple sausages. That was preceded by fresh-cut fruit and a nice croissant. We left absolutely well fed. Rooms are well and tastefully appointed. Water and LaCroix waters cold in the in-room frig . Morning coffee delivered outside the room at the appointed/desired hour. EVERYTHING is done to satisfy the customer. Also have pottery painting classes, cooking classes, escape room challenges, costumed murder mystery plays focused on the inn. It's simply a wonderful experience. We celebrated our 60th anniversary at the Inn and we will return!
