My wife and I recently purchased a 2020 Grand design reflection From Trailer Hitch RV. As this is a big purchase we did ALOT of research and went to multiple dealer. We arrived at the dealer lot and was greeted by the sales rep, Mikey. Mikey was fun, energetic but still allowed us to look without the typical pressure. We found a trailer we liked but wanted it with a few different options. Mikey went to work on his phone and had the exact one we wanted brought over from the overflow lot. Once we walked in we knew it was the one. Trailer Hitch RV is a no haggle place. They give you the best price (lowest I could find anywhere) and do not charge a bunch of fees like some other dealers. A few days later we were called and our trailer was ready! We first went to sign for our purchase. Steve Howard was our finance guy. Let me tell you he was totally ready when we showed up. Not only did he work hard to get us a great rate, the entire signing process was smooth and quick. Once we finished we met up with Joe from and he gave an excellent walk through of the coach. Very informative. Jake then covered the leveling system and ensured that we hitched up correct and safe. Then we were on our way. We highly recommend this dealer, not only do they have THE best prices, every person we had contact with made us feel comfortable as we navigated this purchase. Update**** After our first weekend with the coach we noticed just a few minor issues that needed to be fixed. I called and Spoke with Brian from service dept. He was very helpful and had me scheduled to take care of the work. Brian worked with me to fit my schedule. The day came and I made the 3.5 hour drive to the service department. I was met by Brian who introduced me to Troy who would be taking care of the fixes. While they worked on my trailer, I went to the parts manager, Steve to look at a new hitch. I told Steve I was interested in the Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel hitch. He gave me a price and to my surprise....it was even cheaper than Amazon! So I ended up purchasing the hitch and had it installed. Jake installed the new hitch and was very helpful in explaining the difference between the standard hitch and the Anderson. Once that was complete I returned to the service department and Troy had completed the fixes. I met with Brian one last time and was on my way. Last October my wife and I purchased a Grand Design Reflection model 260RD from Kevin Winters. If I could give Kevin 6 stars I would. He exceeded my expectations and more importantly alleviated the anxiety I had about dealing with an RV salesman. This was our first RV purchase after deciding to sell our home and go full time RV until we figured out where we were going to live. It was either Florida or Arizona. Obviously two extremes. We purchased several months before we needed the trailer because the price was too good to pass up, but that gave me time to change the entry steps and add a second battery. So, two months ago off we went on the adventure and in that time we soon discovered that the 260RD was just too small for full time use. I wanted to trade-up to a Reflection 337RLS and so because our first experience had been so rewarding I contacted Kevin again. He'd recently been installed as fleet manager and it's a well deserved promotion. Without too much effort we agreed on a trade-in value for the 260RD and a sale price for the 337RLS. We made the exchange last week and it was during that process that the entire dealership shined. From Aaron, the GM, who handled the paperwork, to Brian, the service manager and Steve the parts manager I can't say enough about how everyone went out of their way to be helpful to us. They changed out the king bed for a queen and, I can say with some embarrassment, exchanged the toilets in the trailers because my wife was enamored with the one we had in the 260RD. A special shout out to Jake who installed a second battery for us and to Sergio who did an excellent job giving the orientation on the 337RLS. The service department staff helped us move our belongings and both Brian and Steve kept a close eye on the crew to make sure everything that needed to be done was accomplished in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier and it all started with Kevin. He's the reason we came back. I would say our experience with Trailer Hitch was similar to the first time we flew to Hawaii in first class rather than in coach. Once we did that we never flew in coach again. You can't go back. If you're looking for an RV give Trailer Hitch a chance. I'm pretty sure you won't go back to the coach section. read more

When I read these reviews I always take them with a grain of salt and more often than not I choose not to write one but in this case I was compelled to take time to write this. When I bought my trailer I bought it from Brian Kincaid and that experience was top notch from start to finish. Thank You Brian......My Parents have bought 2 from Trailer Hitch and a few of my buddies also bought from trailer hitch because of the awesome experience that I had. Since buying our trailer Brian moved to the service department and I have to say that was a GREAT decision by ownership because they just elevated the service game with one guy moving over there that cares about his customers and giving them the best experience possible. Very easy to work with and he takes a moment to listen to the problem that you have with the quickest and smoothest return possible at the forefront of his transaction with you... When you read yelp reviews it seems like the service Dept. always gets a bad rap but if you take the time to research the process that they have to follow prior to working on your trailer more often than not it is a manufacturer delay that gets you not the service dept. And again I appreciate Brian and all his staff for pushing through all the B.S. ensuring that we get our trailer back as soon as possible. I read a lot of these reviews and I happen to read one about a military person going to report to his command and that s@@T pisses me off; I have been in the military for over 25 years and saying things like that have NO RELEVENCE AT ALL. I try to camp at least once a month with my wife the kids and dogs and I have four and sometimes five fellow soldiers that also bought from trailer hitch tag a long and that's what counts not some moron talking about telling his command about his trailer buying experience FYI they don't care..... Brian don't change your ways your guys and gals kick A$$!!! Most definitely don't let a random petty people get you down. Every time I go camping with my MILITARY buddies we are happy with our trailers and by chance if we have problems we are more than happy to get ahold of you for repairs.....QUICK FAST AND IN A HURRY!!!!!! read more

Then Kevin sent me Photos of the 5th wheel he had. It was just what I have been looking to but for over a year. Kevin punched in some #'s. I recently purchased a supposedly new trailer from Trailer Hitch RV in Nipomo, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Within just one week of owning it, I started noticing significant rust, patched holes in the siding and other items. This is not what I expected when buying a new trailer! Concerned about the quality of my purchase, I promptly contacted both the manufacturer, Keystone RV, and the vendor, Trailer Hitch RV. To my dismay, their response has been frustratingly limited. It seems that once you've made the purchase, they are no longer interested in standing behind their products. Even before the rust issue surfaced, I had reached out to the general manager, Aaron Walsh, regarding a broken part in the trailer. Trying to communicate with him was like trying to move a mountain. He dismissed my concerns by claiming it was not covered under warranty, making me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer. To make matters worse, my recent attempts to request a swap for an actual "new" trailer have gone unanswered. It appears that they are evading their responsibility and ignoring my rightful concerns. As a result, I am left with no choice but to seek legal representation to address this matter. Given my experience with Trailer Hitch RV, I strongly advise against purchasing a trailer from them. Their deceptive practices, lack of accountability, and poor customer service have left me feeling cheated and disappointed. As consumers, we deserve better treatment and assurance that the products we purchase are truly new and of high quality. Please think twice before considering Trailer Hitch RV for your trailer needs. There are undoubtedly other reputable dealers out there who will prioritize your satisfaction and stand behind their products. read more

Don't hesitate to buy from Trailer Hitch RV in Nipomo. In 2019 we purchased a Grand Design 5th wheel from them and last week we traded it in for a new Grand Design 2026 5th wheel. From sales to service we had a great experience. They say once you buy from them "you are family" and they will do what is needed to have your repeat business (it worked lol). We could have bought the same model in our town, but we liked the treatment we received at Trailer Hitch. Our salesperson Sergio was fabulous. No high pressure and he communicated with us via text, answering any questions that popped up after leaving the dealership. . He was a service tech for years and we were happy to have his knowledge while making a decision for our new 5th wheel. Sales manager Brian made us a deal we were happy with, so we stayed in the Trailer Hitch family. Our PDI was done by Craig and Tony who knows their stuff. With our 7 years experience and their information on our new rv we left feeling very comfortable. We took advantage of their 2 nights free at a close by rv park and added 2 more nights at our expense. We wanted to make sure everything was working properly before heading 3 hours home. We had issues getting the heater turned on. After speaking with the service manager, Steve, he sent one of their techs, Rolando, to our rv park to check out the heater. We were thankful we didn't have to tear down and take it to them. Come to find out in order for the heater to be more efficient, there is a new type of system that requires the ac fan to be on, to circulate air when the heater shuts off. What happened to simplicity?! All in all, the Trailer Hitch team were there for us in all the ways we needed. read more

Well I called this business for my disabled mom who bought a fifth wheel from the nipomo location . Needless to say she has had several problems with the unit. She had a repair done in the manifold for the water and was told it was fixed 8 months ago. Well I get a call from my sister that was there helping her clean and she stated mom has a leak. Note I am a service manager for a plumbing company so I went there to check it out . Upon arrival I noticed a drip coming from underneath the unit and investigate to locate. I find the fittings that were worked on and a stain of hard water deposits coming from manifold with pipe dope and that's not the proper way to fix it . At that point I went to there a town location and asked if they had the proper rubber gasket and she stated they had no parts for rvs that they sell so I went to ace and got one . Easy fix that was Sunday . Called Tuesday to talk to the service department due to slight water damage and mold smell and was told I get a call back but crickets is all I've had as they do not have a mobile service department anymore. So my question is to trailer hitch who's going to make this right. She has had the runaround on every warranty repair on this unit and the warranty price was 5000 and you now have to bring it to them or they will pick it up and charge you 600 round trip and she lives in it . It's only a year old and has had problems since day 1 shower valve was leaking in wall so they put one in took a week and is a different color than the other fixtures in the bathroom very classy of them !!!!!! Ps all you had to do was call back and make it right !!!! read more

This review is directed to Trailer Hitch RV Service in Nipomo. Several months ago I had my 5th wheel repaired at the Nipomo Rv Service Center. At the time I rated it a 4 star. Last week I had some problems with my self leveling Jacks and called Trailer Hitch for help. I talked to Brian Kincaid the Service manager and he forwarded me to his Foreman Jerry. Jerry was very helpful and tried guiding me through some troubleshooting steps but to no avail. I then talked to Brian again and explained to him that I was in a bind and needed to get my unit repaired for the coming weekend. He said if I could bring the unit it down he would get right on it and run a diagnostic test and see if it was an easy fix or something that would need time to order parts and repair it at a later date. I told him I would bring it in the morning and he even offered to be in early to get things started. I thanked him and said that would not be necessary. Within 10 minutes when I arrived they had taken all the information necessary to begin the paper process. I met Brian and he immediately called for Jerry to begin his testing. Jerry went through the process and fixed the problem. He then took the time to show me how to navigate the controller for my jacks. I was in and out of there in less then 20 minutes. I thanked Brian and Jerry for their time and effort to resolve my problem. During my weekend trip I referred several people to Trailer Hitch RV Service in Nipomo. We had an outstanding experience with Trailer Hitch RV from start to finish! Since we live in Northern California, driving down to look at the trailer before buying just wasn't practical. Charlie went above and beyond by offering to show us the trailer over FaceTime. The online photos were helpful, but seeing it live and having all of our questions answered made all the difference. We were so confident after the call that we purchased the trailer the very next day. When we arrived on Saturday to pick it up, everything was ready for us. Chris in Finance (Nipomo) made the paperwork process smooth and stress-free. The entire service department was incredibly helpful, especially the gentleman who walked us through every feature of the trailer. We found a couple of small items that needed attention, and by the time we finished signing the paperwork, everything had already been taken care of. We spent our first night at Sands RV Park in Oceano before making the 5-6 hour drive home with our new home away from home, and it was the perfect way to start this adventure. We live 6-8 hours away from THRV (depending on weather & traffic), but we made the trip because they had the best price on the Grand Design 5th wheel that we wanted. Also because the first salesman I contacted, Aaron Walch, worked with us through every single question & concern that we had. We were going to special order the rig, but when we were ready to purchase, they had one on the lot that only needed a few extras that could be done on-site. When we arrived, not everything was done. What we appreciated is that they didn't try avoid the blame. They admitted they had made a mistake & immediately started the work. It delayed the delivery of the rig by a days worth of work, but we were well compensated for that. They also helped with a hook up problem on our truck, even though that wasn't really their job to do. The ENTIRE SERVICE department was awesome to work with, and they were just awesome to US. I'm sure it helped that we didn't "lose our s***t" with them, but even so, they knew it was THEIR responsibility to make it all right, and they did that. They would have even sent someone to the RV park we were staying at, but of all the parks we could have chosen, we stayed at the one that doesn't allow service people from local businesses into the park. (So if you have to stay in the area while purchasing an RV, I do not recommend Pismo Sands RV Resort.) All-in-all, we would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TRAILER HITCH RV to anyone!!! read more

I went camping at Cachuma Lake with my family over the Father's Day weekend. The tongue jack refused to work on my 2021 Lance trailer. On top of that when I arrived I noticed that my refrigerator was totally dead...no control lights, nothing. I checked all of the fuses and they all were good. I took the panel off the back of the Lance and found that a Thermal fuse had blown. You can't replace this fuse so I called and left a message with Brian Kincade at Trailer Hitch RV. Someone else called from Trailer Hitch and told me that it was probably due to me driving the trailer while the refrigerator was on propane and that a "tech" would call me in the morning.....he never called. Now I'm stuck without a fridge on Father's Day. I traced the problem to the Thermal fuse and bypassed it. Wallah, the fridge came back on. Yesterday, 6-24-21, I called and got a hold of Derek Marrufo of Trailer Hitch RV. He asked that I immediately bring the trailer in to get it checked. I did and they checked the tongue jack and immediately replaced it with a brand new jack. I fixed the problem with the Thermal fuse by replacing it. They told me that it would be best if I didn't drive with the fridge on propane but instead turn the fridge on 24 hrs. prior to using it and put cold stuff in it along with a block of Dry Ice.
