Arrived that day and they very rudely get on the phone saying - "we have no cars. You're better off just going to Newark Airport and renting one. hangs up" Are you joking? Called expedia indicating I'm not leaving EWR until I have a rental car with my rate, instead they quote me at $600 when I had a rate of $176 originally. Expedia tries to call USave and they of course are no longer picking up their phone (probably because they have tons of angry customers calling them) Ruined my entire day that I had planned, and then finally gave in and paid for a ridiculously expensive car, and sat in traffic for 6+ hours to Rhode Island. Absolutely horrible people and company, understand your business model before you start a business. Have some decency to serve your customers the product that you have promised.

I really don't understand the value of a reservation if the company doesn't need to honor it. If I fail to honor my end, I will get charged a day's worth. I flew cross-country to attend a friend's wedding and I needed a car in order to get there in time. When U-SAVE failed to provide a car, I was forced to beg other car rental companies one by one. This was extremely stressful and totally unnecessary had U-SAVE followed through. Finally after another hour had gone by, National let me rent a car at the walk-up rate, READ: very expensive. U-SAVE should have been responsible for finding me a car and paying the difference. National said that this is the guarantee that they make to their customers. Shouldn't U-Save have the same type of policy? To make matters worse, when I emailed them to complain, they completely ignored me. It's been 1.5 months already and no one has bothered to respond even after repeated attempts to contact them.

Between Brooklyn and Queens we had to drive back and forth a total of 6 times- in three round trips. Also cost me more to pay my movers to extend their time to complete the move with me.  The time frame for the rental was extended for the entire 9 hour time frame and mileage went over the included base mímate amount and cost of the gas refill.  I made my reservation THREE WEEKS in advance. There is definitely expectations for things to be prepared properly! The van was truly unacceptable, if it wasn't absolutely necessary for me to relocate I would've canceled it all. The site gave me an alert for all other locations that were UNABLE to accommodate a ten footer, I did not get that alert for the location I selected, how could the location not review their pending orders correctly and efficiently be prepared for their customers.  Also the website to leave a public customer review isn't working, very convenient for y'all. I will be reporting this entire experience to the Better Business Bureau as well. I need a 50% off price adjustment or a full refund for this most unreliable service. I am truly disappointed with my entire experience. Also when I was present for the return, I asked the location person for his name and he gave me John Smith And was very disgusting with me and told me to shut my mouth when I was expressing my disappointment with the lack of proper service or empathy. He gave me the key and said the van is parked around the corner. He didn't do a walk around. I used the van for 1 hour with less than 3 miles. Brought the van back exactly as I got it, told him I parked back around the corner. He didn't check it again. When I got home I got an email with charges for damages, they overcharged for gas and added miles all adding up $240. My actual charge supposed to be $65 but that wasn't enough for them. Called Uhaul, they said they can't doing anything about it. So basically these ppl can add whatever charges they want and uhaul doesn't check the vans

Linda gave us directions on how to get there. Once there, she helped me rent a car, secure a temp EZ Pass and insurance, within record time, in order for me to get to work. On top of that, I left my Better Brella umbrella at the office. Linda called me and assured me that she would hold it for me (which she did, until my rental was over). I would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again if necessary. They were FANTASTIC!! Even the guys who checked my car out and in were nice. S/N: The car was cute and drove well. I only needed it for a weekend. Needed an economy car with great mileage.

Like the rebates, and deals with car rentals here. Their insurance rates are reasonable if you have good driving record.
