SEVERE DISAPPOINTMENT. I WILL PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION. I've never given a 2 star review, let alone 1 star. I would've given zero stars, but it was not an option! I tried renting the van for 2 days to celebrate a family birthday party for our grandmother. Needless to say, the whole family was severely disappointed that we were unable to travel together and celebrate her 80th birthday. I received two confirmation emails with confirmation numbers and writing from the company that said the staff is looking forward to taking care of me. One major problem... there was no vehicle for me and the staff blamed me for not calling to confirm... REALLY?!?!? There was a phone call to me, which I returned TWICE. One time I left a message confirming the vehicle and the other time the voicemail was full. The day after my calls, I received the second of two emails with confirmation numbers on them. I arrived as planned and NO VEHICLE. The staff was not only rude, but did nothing to apologize or try to get me another vehicle with someone else. They blamed me for not confirming the vehicle. I finally left after pleading my case for 15 minutes. I played the voicemail I received and showed them the two calls. I returned to them I can see they were getting aggravated with me once I told them it's all on tape. They were directed to stop talking by one of the workers behind the desk. In short, I was told that two email confirmations with confirmation numbers doesn't mean anything because it didn't come from a phone call. HELLO?!?!?! THIS IS 2025! Unbelievable. And yes, I waited two days to write this review so I could digest what actually happened. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I've rented vehicles all over the world, this was by far the worst rental experience I've ever been provided from start to finish. I went to their website and ask for a quote to go from Long Island to Niagara falls. Their quote stated unlimited mileage (see email picture) so I called the and spoke to Maria and paid after going over the details. When I showed up to pick up the 15 passenger van at 8am when they opened, I was shown a contract that had a limit of 400 miles. It would take me close to 1,000 miles with my itinerary. I was told that nothing could be done at the New Hyde Park location and I had to call. I did, but Maria insisted that I never stated where I was going, which I had, and that their quote is for the NY metro area, which makes no sense. Maria upped my limit to 800 miles. Since I was already running late, I begrudgingly accepted the terms. The person behind the counter was nice enough, but when he took me to do the physical inspection of the vehicle, we looked around the vehicle ( I even to a video around the car as I always do) but he didn't inspect the inside (which I didn't do either as I've never had any issues). The vehicle was given to me with 1/8 tank. That's right, one-eight ! I had to drive to the nearest gas station. When I got to the gas station, I decided to look inside, and was appalled. The carpet was torn, the vents were broken, there was under-carpet exposed everywhere, and the vehicle had not been vacuumed. I couldn't turn back, so I just proceeded. When driving to Niagara Falls, with 12 souls in my care, it started drizzling. As I put the wipers on, the windshield got smushed from the dirt and bugs. I try to get the wiper fluid to go, and it is EMPTY!!! I swerved to the side as it was nearly impossible to see and used a bottle of water to clean the windshield. When it was all said and done, I went to drop off the vehicle and the key drop box doesn't even have a sign nor is it in a well lit area (I took a video of me dropping off the key just in case it was disputed). I was charged an extra $56 for going over the miles allotted. I plan to pursue legal action against this company. read more

I tried to relay my dissatisfaction to the so-called manager he continued to talk aggressively and condescendingly to me and knowing my temper I literally walked away. These people are amazing. I've rented from them multiple times and never had a problem. We decided last minute for a bachelor party with friends, everywhere I called for a 15 passenger seat car was more expensive than this place and not available for the Saturday that we wanted. They give me the best car they had and plenty of miles for the trip to Atlantic City. I picked the car at 2 PM on Saturday and brought it back Sunday night late. I respectfully disagree with the other review. I rented from them a 16' truck at the last minute and Kevin was very helpful and courteous. He gave me full details of what was expected from me upon return as well as gave me helpful reminders as not all of us are " truck drivers"-stay off parkway and ans remember the height ! Once in New Hyde Park Kevin was super friendly, explained everything in detail and made sure we were aware of everything involved in the rental. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We were scheduled to pick up a 10 passenger sprinter for a 24 hour rental at 9 am on Saturday. Upon arriving to the new hyde park location several minutes early we were told it would just be a few minutes until we got the van. About 10 minutes after this we questioned staff about the van and were informed (unapologetically) it was not at the location yet and would be another 20 minutes. We finally got the van at about 9:40 am. This made us late for our plans. When we returned to our home and were loading up the van with a few bags and water bottles we noticed a strange smell in the van. We looked around further and found a container in the back of one of the seats that said "medical marijuana" on it and it was full of pot. We also found empty water bottles, shoes, a baseball hat and ash trays full of pot residue. When i contacted the company upset about the drugs in the van and how filthy it was, i was told that "we don't charge extra for that." I was unamused by this response and felt that the staff member was not taking me seriously. If we would have gotten pulled over with drugs in the car It could have had legal consequences and he was laughing it off. They connected me to speak with someone else who said they would look into the matter and call me back but I never received a return call. When we returned the van very unhappy with our experience we were told that "we already got a good deal" on the price that he was "happy we found the drugs before going out for the day". On top of all of this we were unable to get the TV, aux cord or bluetooth to work in the van. I was very upset with my experience with this company and would not recommend renting with them to anyone. read more
