We ordered our beverages which came right out. I ordered the Breakfast burrito. This is scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, hashbrowns, sour cream, and cheese wrapped up in a giant flour tortilla. I ordered it smothered with the green pork chili sauce for a couple bucks extra. There was a quite a wait for our food to come out. That's understandable as busy as they were. The burrito was good and it was bery filling I took half of it home. We'll come back when they aren't so busy and try something else.

Waitress made the staff prepare a bowl of fruit for our son and brought him a color book, and was just the sweetest and most heart warming person to her clients. While also giving the locals their attention and handling a busy morning like a professional. Plus gave some amazing recommendations! Definitely won our hearts and our tip! -Farmers favorite: 5/5 (pay for a side of green chile pork) Our waitress wasn't lying when she said it was delicious! A bite that's almost farm fresh whole being a hash like consistency makes this bite a delicious one! Soft but slightly crispy while having a rich flavor from the pork. Alone, delicious, add the pork chile verde!?!? Another level!!! Authentic hatch green chile verde to top this makes it a Mexican inspired almost gravy like consistency that just screams in savory and is the perfect match to change up the ole ketchup and hot sauce you'd drop on this kind of a meal. -sweet role: 5/5 Get the sweet role... get it with the home made glaze too! Don't just wait... order it right away before they sell out. One of the best rolls we've ordered together. Definitely worth coming in just for this... plus. It feeds 4 or more. Trust me.... You won't regret it!

Beartooth Cafe. Cooke City, MT. Late June, 2026. My husband and I were traveling from Red Lodge,…read moreMT to Yellowstone National Park (northeast entrance). Unfortunately, the Beartooth Pass was closed between Red Lodge and Cooke City because of snow and high winds -- so we took the longer route that included the Chief Joseph Highway and yet still encountered some snow and sleet on the high elevation Colter Pass. Upon reaching Cooke City, we were ready to treat ourselves with some hot beverages and a piece of dessert. We stumbled upon the Beartooth Cafe. Upon entering, we informed the hostess that we were interested in hot beverages and a dessert and she apologized that they offered only "plain coffee", not the specialty coffees of a restaurant down the street. Perfect, we didn't need a fancy roast. My husband ordered a hot coffee ($3.75), while I ordered hot tea ($3.75). We split a slice of Amish Apple Pie ($11.75). The pie was delicious, and tasted home-made. My husband's coffee was good, and I was offered a tray with tea options. However, by the time taxes and tip were added, we felt that $25 was just too much for two plain (non-specialty) beverages and a split dessert (even in a touristy area with a limited season). Our server was friendly, but we weren't offered refills of the coffee and/or tea until after we had already asked for our check and were ready to depart. The ambiance was Montana rustic. Free parking was directly in front of the restaurant.
