Prices are a bit steep but it gets better if you go on a family plan. They also provide a lot of gym amenities to make the pricetag worth it. From pickleball courts to rock climbing. Basketball courts as well. There are so many things to do at the facility beyond normal gym and fitness. They also have an indoor and outdoor pool. Both of them are very large and spacious. The outdoor one also has waterslides and a poolside bar and grill. It really feels like a resort. The indoor amenities are good as well. You can relax in the hot tub or sit in a sauna/steam room. There are also cold plunge pools. I love the unlimited studio classes. Xtreme intervals and maxout upper/lower body are my favorites. The instructors are energetic and motivating. They always keep me on my toes while keeping the overall class still fun and entertaining. If you're looking for more than just a basic gym, Life Time is the place to be. Highly recommend--it's transformed my fitness routine!

It can get a bit crowded at certain times of the day and since its a really small gym youll be waiting a bit to use your preferred machine. The staff are all well mannered people and have never given any issues. HOWEVER........ The one major drawback to this place is that it almost never has any running hot water. Every month seems to be an issue (and im not exaggerating). Im not sure if they are having trouble paying the bills here or if someone is turning the hot water valve off for days at a time but it is a constant issue. Me personally I work out before i head straight to work so a shower is needed after a hard hour or two sweating bullets. Just this morning I walked to the locker room after working out and one of the guys who frequents this place said to me "hey the water is luke warm today" and this is the running gag with everyone here, being delighted just for luke warm shower water. Litterally everyone in the locker complains about it every month. Anywho I step in the shower and put it on max heat but instead was drenched in water from antarctica. I did find some comic relief in it though, as others who stepped in there showers looking forward to the "luke warm" rumor but were disappointed, and then it became a symphony of complaints and anguish LOL. Theres something very funny about grown men just in agony about not having hot water. Men of all ages young and old getting together in a gym locker room and throwing a fit. I was told that blink was bought out and now owned by a company called PURE FITNESS. Well pure fitness, how about some pure hot water? Seriously though, the only reason i still come here is because its literally right by my job and also because its been so hot that the below zero water isnt so bad once you step outside in that 90 plus degree heat. Yet winter will be upon us soon and i dont know if i can survive bathing in arctic water without turning into a chocolate freezy pop. The one thing I do appreciate is that when you walk in they now have a sign that stands by the desk letting you know that theres no hot water. The thing is the sign is standing for weeks at a time. Seriously, in june there was no hot water for almost 3 straight weeks. I mean i cant understand whats going on at this place. We had hot water all last week and then i walk in this morning and its cold again. I just realized that it is the end of the month and I know now that liberty utilities doesnt play about that money.....

Every time I see Alan, he greets members with a warm smile and takes the time to ask how they're doing. That level of personal attention is rare and makes everyone feel welcome. He's also one of the few managers I've noticed who politely reminds members to re-rack their weights as a courtesy to others, helping keep the gym organized and safe. Alan takes pride in maintaining the equipment and is always visible on the gym floor, making sure everything is running smoothly while checking in with members. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent customer service truly set him apart. L.A. Fitness is fortunate to have Alan on its team, and I wish more managers demonstrated the same level of professionalism and dedication. He is a tremendous asset to the Levittown location.

No line for the equipment, plenty of dumbbells available for this dumbbell at all times, proactive maintenance staff who keep the showers, sauna, toilets and the workout floor clean and stocked; nice layout with a quiet room with loads of mats to do stretching, yoga poses( 2 seconds for me) and ab work, a nice tricep pull-down area and a basketball court. No racquetball but Farmingdale is just a few minutes east. Love that the juice bar has added protein pre made meals in their freezer with a microwave for immediate consumption. The sauna is always hot. I get to this location maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I have to mention the wonderful Gabriel who opened the gym in the snowstorm at 7 am sharp. He was happy and welcoming as the rush came in. Thank you LAF for being open today. Now it's foodie fun time as the NFL Championship games are just a few hours away.

Their prices are super affordable. $10 a month for the basic membership that allows to work out only at your home gym. The $20 something a month enables you to bring a guest and you can workout at ANY gym in the nation. As someone who is all over the city. This is such a great perk and I can bring a guest?! This allows me to catch up with old friends who come into town or to invite a client along for a gym day. It can't get any better than that! At this location in Levittown, the staff is super nice and very patient. They assisted me when I lost my card. They stayed on the phone with my home gym for a little while while they kind of gave them a run around. The locker at this location stays very clean and smells very nice. I think that's so amazing, as sometimes I go to other location's locker rooms and it's smells sweaty. Granted it is a gym but this location shows that it doesn't have to smell like one. This location is one of my favorites and I'll definitely keep coming back. Only negative is that the barbells and kettlebells aren't to be found.

Keep in mind that there are other students in the class, but he notices every detail about his students, the breath we take per move/reps (even with masks on), 2) PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNICATIVE - With his keen observation skills, he's quick to correct posture or can tell if we've trained before (I say he's psychic), he also has the ability to tell how we carry our backpacks/or handbags and if they are heavy or not, he will know based on our posture if we are the type who have sedimentary jobs or not and advises on how to autocorrect form. I do value the fact as we work out, he tells us where we should be feeling the burn and why and which part of the body we are working. 3) FRIENDLY & WARM/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - he doesn't intimidate and he can easily make quick connections to build rapport and trust so as we are working out, he empowers us with confidence we need to push ourselves. He intuitively knows our personal limit as to when we need to be pushed hard and when we need to slow it down. F45 PLAINVIEW 1) I've been to many gyms and worked out with many trainers, but i do enjoy the F45 concept, 45 minutes your in and your out with a sweat. This is a great concept for those individuals who lack discipline in a gym environment. 2) Days are scheduled based on what the functional exercises and which area of the body you will be working (core, upper, lower, cardio, etc). 3) The camaraderie you gain when you attend. I only attended 2 sessions and the members welcomed me with open arms and thumbs up support in a few of the exercises I failed at. We all have a common objective in mind and its just getting through the 45 minutes is where we bond at... then its a great feeling when you see them again the very next day. The building is located in a warehouse-like area, but it works for a gym! After the first class, I was exhausted. The class is different every time. There can be weights, ropes, burpees and everything in between. The exercises and timed reps really help me in building endurance. Brenda is an excellent trainer. She encourages rest for those who aren't physically advanced and also pushes us when she knows we are capable of continuing certain workouts. I ask how to do certain exercises the proper way plenty of times and Brenda is kind enough to demonstrate them. I've attended her classes several times and intend to keep coming for my one intense workout a week.
