I have been to Tranquility Spa several times and I love it! It is located in an older home which on south Broadway which gives it a unique, cozy feel. I have had a relaxation journey, polish on steroids (POS), and spray tans here. The relaxation journey was everything you would want in a massage. I wish I could get one every day! The POS was absolutely incredible! I had Alyssa do my nails for a Hawaiian themed party and I was in awe! She is so incredibly talented (which all the ladies here are!), she used a TOOTHPICK to create a design on my nails! My friend got little tiki men on her nails by Alyssa too. I'm not sure which one of us got stopped and asked how where we got our nails done more! I also had Alyssa for my spray tan and I got so many compliments! I had never gotten a spray tan before and was very skeptical of them. The last thing I wanted was to have streaky, orange-colored skin! People literally asked me if I had gone on vacation because the spray tan was that good! I would recommend Tranquility Spa to anyone who wants some pampering! You deserve it! read more

If there was one thing that I could splurge on every single week, it would definitely be massages. I feel like a whole new person whenever I get one, and a truly spectacular massage is transcendent. At Tranquility, they offer a wide variety of services, and I've had two different treatments. I did a relaxation special, and it was lovely. They use Aveda as well as other natural, organic products which are very soothing and pleasant. However, the best thing they do is the sports massage. The deep tissue work is just out of this world. Go check them out -- they do good work. It will be on the expensive-end as far as treatments are concerned, but I would say they're worth it. read more

As she was tired, stressed and sore from hunching over a table studying after a hectic finals week, I surprised my girlfriend with a 1 hour hot stone massage with the charming Annette, which she absolutely loved! - It was also the first time she has ever been to a spa or had a professional massage. Presentation is very important for the overall spa experience, which I feel a LOT of USA based day spas could learn from. You don't want to go to a place in a mall that doubles as a hair salon, no matter what the brand name products are advertised. A great massage or treatment is also nothing when it's being delivered in shoddy, outdated, aged or 'un-spa-like' premises, all of which, this place is not. Seeing photos of the well-presented staff on the website was also reassuring, as I knew my girlfriend would not be comfortable with some creepy looking guy for her first ever massage/spa experience. The basis of an all-female staff and photos to show they looked 'pleasant and normal' for a first-timer was probably one of the biggest motivators in my selection of this place. The premises is an absolutely gorgeous old house that has been renovated throughout to keep its charm while also being functional with small dedicated rooms. The waiting rooms downstairs, and also upstairs where I was offered big comfy chairs to wait in were nice. The offer of free bottled water for both of us (even though I wasn't receiving a treatment) on arrival, and the offer of another for each of us for the road on our departure was a great touch, and something that is good for the body before and after a treatment, that most other Spas overlook. I booked online, and although I never received the confirmation email (and I did check my spam folders!), my details were received by the Spa, and we were greeted by name on our arrival - also a nice touch. Apart from a very mild snafu with the internet based billing system freezing and needing a reboot, I think a treatment here was both one of the best gifts I have given my girlfriend, and also my undoing - my girlfriends first ever massage/spa treatment, and by the sounds of it, most certainly not her last here! Like a previous reviewer, I scheduled a spa party at Tranquility without having visited, although I'd heard good things about the services from friends. The Broadway address may scare some people off, but I have nothing but great things to say about the spa itself. All of the pedicure chairs and service stations are beautiful and new, and the old Victorian house offers lots of little private service areas with warm wooden floors and beautiful high ceilings throughout. They have an AMAZING giant bath tub for a bathing service as well as several areas for massage and facials. My spa party was fantastic. We were taken to a private room where we could bring in our own foods and drinks (including wine!). The aestheticians actually helped us carry a big cooler up the stairs. That's service! We were surprised that the spa had also created two plates of spa food for us as well (and no, we didn't have to pay for it, they just threw it in) and offered us teas and water. I had coordinated the appointments before the party and the system went fairly well. The only downside is that once the ladies got situated and started seeing the services they WEREN'T getting, then they wanted everything done. Personally, I received a massage and the "Nail Polish on Steroids" manicure. The massage was on par with quality massages I've received at high end spas in Vegas and the coasts, only at a fraction of the price. And the manicure was amazing! I got a custom polish/glitter "shellac" type gel that makes my fingers look like a disco ball, which is exactly what I wanted. Then, to top it off, each of our party goers received a free makeup application! So much service at such a reasonable price, and all of it was extremely sophisticated and calming. This is the spa you always wanted to visit and it's right here in sleepy little downtown Green Bay. read more

I rented out Tranquility Spa last weekend for a Spa Party for my best friend's Bachelorette Party. I live in Minneapolis and booked the party from here, without ever seeing or hearing anything about the spa beforehand. Scary, but the place is SUPER CUTE and I was not disappointed at all. It's in an old house that is renovated beautifully! Immediately upon arriving we were taken to our large room upstairs where we could bring any food/bevs we chose. They also provide tea. The staff was super nice and accommodating. For the spa party you can pick from 4 30 minute services: Manicure, Pedicure, Massage or Facial. I got the massage and definitely didn't have anything to complain about. If I ever find myself in the Green Bay area searching for a massage I will definitely keep Tranquility Spa in mind! read more

DO NOT GO. This place is a classic bait and switch. I can only speak for the massage/spa services, but the way the business is run is not up front. I went onto their website and saw they offered an "Athletic Renewal" which is advertised as "targets specific muscles that need releasing and re-balancing caused from athletic injuries or over-use" which was exactly what I needed. I call and ask for an appointment and they set me up for the next day. Great! I get there are wait 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time and when I finally get into the room I'm told they don't have a licensed massage therapist so they can only offer me the "relaxation journey" which is basically body scrub and moisturizer (for $80!!!). They ask if I would like that instead of the athletic renewal I had called about. BAIT AND SWITCH. I said no and the manager comes out and says "oh, you got into the room and thought this was an athletic renewal? *laughs* No, we don't offer that yet. Sorry. Okay, bye." So rude, so dishonest. The staff there are so friendly!! I got highlights added to my hair and I appsolutly love them. They are natural looking and I couldn't have asked for any better!! The women who did my hair was Niki and she was so amazing. She really took her time and made sure every step was done right. Every question I had she could answer. She gave me an exact price before she even started so I knew exactly what I was paying for and she even gave me an exact time estimate on when things would be done. She truley knew what she was doing and I will always choose her to do my hair. She looked at my ideas that I loved and she customized it to my skin tone so that my balyage and highlights would look absolutly perfect! Had a couples experience yesterday. My husband had a massage, and I had a relaxation journey. It was incredible! We both loved it. We felt amazing when we left, and feel amazing today. I went to get a spray tan at 6:15 and wasn't seen for at least 20 minutes. I followed directions and did not shower overnight. I showered this morning to get the excess sunless bronzer off and in some areas there is no difference in color at all. All the other areas are only show little to no color change. My mom didn't notice I got it done. Lol. I called to see if they could redo it but Jen said they don't have an appointment early enough as I am flying out of town today. You think that they would offer a refund or have me come back when I return to get a spray tan. I went to Tranquility Spa and had an hour long healing stone massage (compliments of my fiancé after a very stressful week) and it was awesome!!! Roxanne Ponchnard was my massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to all my friends and I will continue to use them as my go to spot! I had the Revitalizing Facial recently at Tranquility. Reception was super friendly as was the person that did my facial. I thought the facial was ok. My skin didn't feel quite as invigorated as previous facials that I had but it felt clean...until the end of my facial. At the end of my facial I felt her put this powder on my face that I thought was like a cleansing powder as she had just put a "stay on" masque on. However when I looked in the mirror I noticed it was makeup. Makeup! She literally put a foundation like powder on my nice clean face and then put a lip tint! I looked like a Mannequin, and she could not stop raving about how I was "glowing." I couldn't wait to get home and scrub off the Makeup as my face felt suffocated. For a facial that's $130 I felt like it needed something a little more impressive and certainly does not need a makeup application at the end! read more

This was my first ever massage/spa experience and I'm glad the bad experience of it didn't prevent me from trying again because I did find a different place that I love. But back to my experience here. I received a gift certificate from my fiancé to get a massage here, he also bought one for his mother so she and i went together. When we got there we were immediately brought into the room where we would be getting our massages, I think it was meant for couples because it had to massage tables. After being led in she left us in there and told us to get undressed and under the covers in the table, the room was super bright which is not only not relaxing it also makes getting naked in front of your boyfriends mother that much more awkward. After that humiliating process was over we got our massages which did feel good but then after it was finished we had to get dressed in front of each other again. I had assumed we would either have separate rooms or if we had to share a room at least we could have been brought somewhere private where we could get undressed and put on robes which then we could have slipped off once we were on the table and under the blankets. Maybe I'm just not as comfortable being naked in front of someone other than my boyfriend but the whole experience was extremely uncomfortable for the both of us.
