Transform Pilates in the best of the best in Pilates studios. I live in NYC and every time I come to Florida, Transform Pilates is my first stop!! I take Robin Ryan's classes (one of the owners). Besides the fact that she is extremely knowledgeable, her great personality shines through while she is teaching. Her classes are fun, yet challenging at the same time! I've never done pilates using the reformer machine before, as I've only done the floor exercises without the machine. The classes seemed interesting so I decided to finally sign up. It was a very quick and easy process to register and choose which dates to attend the class. The instructors Christine & Robin were so courteous and professional. I felt so at ease during my very first class, it wasn't intimidating at all, and you can see the instructor cared about each person and their progress. I have now completed eight classes here, and I am extremely happy with this studio! As far as coordination and overall fitness go, I consider myself to be slightly below average.. that's why when I find a gem like Transform Pilates I just keep going back! Robin and Christina clearly love Pilates, and they pour out that passion into every single class they give. No matter your fitness level, shape, or size, if you want a solid workout, if you want to feel like a part of a positive community, if you want your instructors to know your name and your fitness needs, if you want to feel supported, then you need Transform Pilates. Don't be afraid. Try it! I stumbled upon this boutique studio last summer when my yoga studio in Weston closed. Although I couldn't attend yoga regularly because the studio was a 25 minute drive each way, I knew I needed someplace where I could get a good, regular workout. I have always been intimidated by the look of the reformer and I was terrified of signing up for a class and becoming quickly frustrated, so I stopped in at lunchtime on a weekday and spoke with Jennie, who works at the front desk. She explained to me exactly what to expect from the class (limited to 9 students) and told me how the two owners teach all of the classes. They learn your name immediately, get to know any injuries or limitations that you might have so they can modify exercises as needed, and they always introduce students at the start of class. Jennie assured me that I would become addicted. I liked what I heard and although still a bit afraid, I signed up for my complimentary first class. I walked into my first class the next day and Jennie was right; I was hooked! It's six months later and I attend three times every week. I am not an athlete. I have tried all sorts of exercise before (step aerobics in the 90s, personal trainers, gym memberships, running, exercise videos, yoga, etc...) and I have never loved any of it. I have never stuck to any of those things consistently for more than 2-3 months. It's not just the Pilates itself, it's Christine and Robin (owner/instructors) and Jennie. They care about their clients and make an effort to make their studio a welcoming community. They are genuinely encouraging, attentive, positive, and very knowledgeable and they make you WANT to disconnect for an hour and work on yourself. Finding Transform Pilates has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I am stronger and more confident and shockingly, am even thinking about "leveling up" and trying a Pilates/TRX class. I can't believe it! read more

Buyer beware. Worst place for Pilates in town!!!!!! Awful on so many levels....... The owner/trainer Christine was always preoccupied on her phone during class, plus the atmosphere is always very dark and gloomy. Yelp says I've checked in 3 times... but its more like 200+ times! I've been a member at Transform Pilates since 2015, and I've come and gone but I always come back. See for me, Pilates has given my core better results than my normal workout routine. So I combine the two. This studio is small, but not tiny, there are 3 separate rooms, the Pilates room, the Barre room and the TRX room. There are 8 reformer machines for Pilates, it's nothing like these other Pilates studios that cram 15 machines in a tiny room, then you start doing leg circles and you're touching your neighbor, NOPE NOT HERE! The studio is owned by Robin and Christine, once neighbors, now business partners. Why do I know this? These women make you feel like you're apart of their family because hey, you are! They get to know you, your needs, your wants, how strong you are, everything. When I started in 2015, I couldn't do a plank to save my life. Now? I can plank-pike, you name it. And don't ever think you're stronger than the reformer machine! These ladies will find a way to challenge you, (last week we used resistance bands and I was sore for 5 days). Workouts are NEVER, EVER, the same and that's what I love about it, warm-ups are the same, but even your stretches change from day to day. Classes fill up SUPER quick, and they're not open all day, (6am-10am then 4pm-7pm), and you can easily register for classes on MindBody.com and purchase more classes. They have many package options but I usually purchase the 10 classes for $180, the monthly unlimited doesn't work well for me because of scheduling. First class is free, and drop-ins are $20. One of my favorite things is the availability of Robin and Christine, you can shoot the studio a text if you need to cancel, and they'll happily reschedule. Once in a while they'll have little mixers and such, for example, we had a Painting with a Twist night back in May. They definitely keep you engaged and make you feel like family. read more

I started Pilates and TRX 4 months ago and love and addicted to both. I had a sacral fracture few months prior and wasn't able to run as I used to so started Pilates as a therapeutic exercise. My body transformation in this short period of time is amazing. And all those core strengthening facilitated my healing . Both instructors Christine and Robyn are extraordinary, I love working with them. Classes are small so they put enough attention to everyone to make sure moves are done correctly. Was recommended this Pilates studio by a friend and fell in love. Whenever I walk in I instantly feel calmer with the dimmed lights and the overall feel of the room. Robin one of the class instructors is very motivating throughout the class. She checks in on me and motivates me during the whole class and I know I can ask her for modifications or tips when need be. Jenny is beyond sweet and very helpful with questions about memberships and booking. Highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't yet. read more

I purchased a groupon at a friends recommendation and have not stopped going. Robin and Christine are amazing! They have reformer pilates, TRX, Ballet barre and more. Classes are small and personable. They will try to accommodate you with your schedule and if not you are put on a waitlist which a lot times you are able to get in. All instructors are knowledgeable and they challenge each person individually. My husband had terrible back pains and it's gone away after months of bi-weekly classes. Love love love Transform Pilates. I haven't exercised since pre-baby.. over 5 years ago. My first time at TRX & Pilates. I was worried that maybe I had challenged myself too much.. happy to say..no.. not at all.. I feel very stretched (especially my spine and hips) taller and much more supple.. not to mention energetic. The instructors (2 are the owners) truly care about you getting the best out of each session. Instructors give clear details as to each exercise and carefully check every person in the class to ensure that movement is correct and no damage is done to your body. Instructors are always genuinely friendly and make you feel like family. You will see and feel how much they love their job! A very warm, comfortable, happy environment. I started going to Transform Pilates after purchasing a Groupon and over 2 years later and I am still going here twice per week or more. There is no other place that can compare to the quality of the training that Christine and Robin provide. This boutique fitness facility provides reformer Pilates (my favorite class) and they have recently added TRX and Ballet Barre Classes as well. You get a great workout in a nonjudgmental encouraging environment which is also decorated beautifully with the latest equipment. Transform Pilates has several different types of classes, but every class is about the core. Transform Pilates is an excellent facility. Each class has a limited amount of people. For example, there are only eight beds for the Pilates class. Therefore the instruction is personalized. Today, I went in with a hurt back and came out feeling almost healed. I knew the owner when she was an instructor at a Pilates studio I attended for years. She was always one of my favorite instructors so when she opened her own studio I decided to give it a try. Her new studio did not disappoint. Robin, along with her partner Christine, are a class act. I feel as though I am part of a family of like minded, fun individuals who want to have a safe and enjoyable environment for an hour of physical fitness. Best Pilates studio and trainers I have ever worked with! I've suffered from back pain and discomfort for years due to an old injury and had tried everything , even shots in my back -when my physical therapist finally suggested I try Pilates This has done wonders not only for my back pain, but for my flexibility,strength and toning . I've even managed to lose 14 pounds without having to starve myself. The whole staff is great and give you one on one attention to make sure you do the exercises properly. It's a different workout every time you go so you never get bored and the ladies are friendly and fun. This is my therapy now and I really don't know how I got you without it for so many years .
