I've been a loyal Club Pilates member in another state for almost a year and travel to South Florida every other month. During my visits, I usually purchase individual classes at other Club Pilates locations without any issue. I was willing to pay $39 per class and planned to attend 4-6 classes every time I came into town. I booked a 1.5 class at Club Pilates Pembroke Pines, only to be canceled via text message because their studio requires completing 10 classes specifically at their location before taking a 1.5 class. I called to explain that I am already an active Club Pilates member with experience at another studio, but they refused to honor that and still canceled my class. What disappointed me most was not even the policy itself, but how rude and dismissive the interaction felt. This appears to be a studio-specific rule and not something I've experienced at other Club Pilates locations while traveling. Unfortunately, they lost a returning customer who was willing to consistently pay for classes every other month while visiting the area. read more

The people make the place! Arianna is a treasure. Xander is the perfect ambassador. And the entire front desk staff set the perfect, helpful tone for a positive practice. I injured my shoulder in late September 2024. To stay active and rehab a bit, I joined this Pines location. I jumped around the schedule, trying different instructors and different level 1 classes. I fell in love with Arianna's class and have been consistently attending this location twice a week for about 7 months. Don't let the pretty face and a pink aesthetic fool you. Once Arianna locks in, the class is challenging, integrative, & rewarding every time. With a quiet intensity, Arianna manages to offer a focused variety of movements - scaling for those who need it & recognizing your ability to progress often before you do. Arianna's class helped rehab my injury, and helped improve my mobility & range of motion overall. Her routines, her specific cues, & her individual attention to the members have been complimentary to my workouts outside of Club Pilates. Her teaching style helped to improve my core stability & body awareness. I've seen results in my deadlifts, back squats, pull ups, pushups, & overhead presses - feeling better than I have in 8 years of Crossfit-style workouts alone. Arianna really has a mastery over teaching Pilates. And she is undoubtedly supported & facilitated by the location staff. The studio is always clean & organized. The class check in is seamless. And the attitude is encouraging & welcoming. I was hesitant when I started, recognizing that this is a primarily female space. Didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable &, conversely, didn't want to feel out of place. While the exercises have definitely been humbling, the experience has always been welcoming & supportive. The instructors, the other members, & staff have been awesome. Special shout out to Xander who always makes you feel like you are in the right place! Trying new things can be intimidating. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Club Pilates. Despite notifying them in advance that I was moving and explicitly requesting not to be charged, they billed me anyway. When I reached out for a resolution, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. They also refused to transfer my remaining credits to another location, which makes no sense given that Club Pilates operates as a national franchise. When I escalated my concerns to a higher-up, I was spoken to rudely and essentially told to 'deal with it.' She offered no solution and just kept saying well "should've thought about this sooner / quit earlier." This level of customer service is unacceptable, and it's clear that they prioritize profits over member satisfaction. I expected more from a company I previously enjoyed being a part of. If you're considering a membership, be aware of their rigid policies and lack of support when issues arise. I have been to many Pilates studios have never experienced this level of disconcern from staff ever in my life! I've been going to club Pilates for a little over three months now and I absolutely LOVE IT! I started by taking the free intro class and immediately after signed up for the 8 classes a month package! They offer various different types of classes of different difficulty levels and recommend that beginners take a few level 1 classes before considering moving their way up. This will ensure that you have learned the right form of basic Pilates moves and how to use the equipment. I find the staff all very friendly and professional and the space is very clean. It gives me zero pleasure to write 1 star reviews. As I have grown and matured, I remember what my mother always told me: if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all. However the people who work here are nasty corporate bullies and I write this to ensure no one continues to go through this. You can clearly see their attitudes visibly change through their caked on make up when you ask about canceling or downgrading memberships etc. During your intro class it's all smiles and promises. Whatever they can do to get you to sign a 3 month contract. Talks about "American hero" discounts and all that jazz. How they understand that your schedule varies and their "cancellation policy might be 12 hrs but you can call anytime and they'll do it for you with no charge." Eventually this "wears off" with some arbitrary number they don't tell you. As I really need something with more flexibility, 6 weeks before the end of my 3rd month, I tell the front desk that I will be canceling any future charges. Immediate attitude and her frown lines are super accentuated, and I'm told I have to do it the day before "otherwise I lose the 6 weeks". Towards the end of the month I'm unable to make a class and send the cancellation w 12 hrs ahead of time. Despite that, I still get charged. Some dude told me I was two minutes late but "they will refund me anyways since it was only 2 minutes". Never saw that $ back or never heard back despite multiple follow ups. Here is where it gets extremely shady. Apparently they need something in writing 14 days ahead of time and "told me about it. It'sin your agreement". So the cranky wrinkly lady who told me it has to be the day before was lying and only did it to con another month out of me. I asked for the agreement I signed and it's FAKED. It's not my signature and I was never even there the day they dated it. In fact,  it's dated for the day they charged me as a no show (& told me they'll refund it). So what is it? Did I show up and sign this contract? Or was I a no show? Begrudgingly I stayed an extra month (because its in the "agreement") and paid $89. My schedule really didn't work with their extremely strict cancellation policy. Finally I booked some classes (& was able to- I have receipts and everything of class confirmation). They cancel those classes. Of course at this point I haven't heard back from them and I call my credit card for a charge back. I was conned into an extra month and not allowed to use the classes. I was allowed to book classes which they canceled. Finally the manager writes back (I guess they hear of the charge back) & is "willing to negotiate". Today I get an email about $189 outstanding balance (?). I email the manager again who actually responds and comes back with arbitrary numbers like a canceled class (how many times are you charging me for a class you said you won't charge me for?) And "charge back fees". I had already initially conceded, paid for a month i didn't want to, stull didn't get to take the classes, fixed it with my credit card company and they still have the audacity to charge. So anyways moral of the story: keep all screenshots (I sure did and have submitted as evidence to my credit card company), and do NOT go to club pilates. They have no honor and do not hold up their end of the bargain. They lie to your face and tell you another thing via email. I never found any of their classes any sort of challenging (literally graduated to 1.5 after like 5 classes) and for this amount of $ and headache just do online classes. read more

Despite initially having positive experiences with Club Pilates, all the favorable aspects were completely demolished when they continued to charge my credit card after I canceled. Now that I've been a member for six months, I feel I can finally review Club Pilates. My verdict? It rocks! I've always been a fan of reformer pilates. I used to be a member of Studio Be, but have since moved away from the area. I thought I would never be able to find a replacement for my former favorite teacher, Terri. And I haven't, but the team at CP comes as close as it will probably get. So far, my favorite instructors are Kayla and Ashley. The classes are varied. The lowest level is CP Reformer Flow 1 which then moves to 1.5 and then to level 2. Also, there's CP Control (focusing on balance and core-mostly off the reformer), CP Functional Interval Training, CP Cardio Sculpt (fast-paced​ and use of the jump boards​), and CP Suspend (using the TRX bands). Some of the classes are offered in Spanish too. I love the newness of all the equipment at the studio. Everything is impeccably clean. There are cubbies for your belongings, Club Pilates merchandise, and a filtered water system (you need just your glass or bottle to refill). To see the schedule and sign up for classes, you can call or use their app which is always up to date. The location is easily found right off 75 and the Pines exit, right next to Whole Foods. There is always plenty of parking. Highly recommended! Side notes for the studio: * I like when the instructors keep the lights off, and the perimeter neon blue lights stay on. Sometimes in the afternoon, the overhead lighting is unbearable (especially since we are staring directly into it from the reformer). * I enjoy when the instructors bring in their playlist. It's much better than the Top 40 shuffled songs playing otherwise. * It would be great if curtains or doors could be added to cover the open side walls facing the front of the studio. Sometimes the students that are leaving or coming in (or even the front desk staff) engage in loud laughter and conversation which take away from the entire experience and make it hard to hear the instructor​. In any business one of the essential factors for its success, is to be consististenly good. I have been going to the Pembroke Pines location since its beginning and have completed over 700 classes. There has NEVER been a class which was not of an excellent high standard. All the instructors, are very attentive, professional and make one feel at ease. Love this place. I have been coming here for just about two weeks since signing up. I had an intro class with Kayla and thus far have taken a class with her ever since. I honestly just love the way she teaches the class. Due to COVID they have limited the class sizes to half. So instead of 12, only 6 people are allowed. I love that they alternate between odd and even after each class in order to thoroughly clean the machines. After we wipe down our stations, I have witnessed them going behind us for a more thorough clean. So rest assured that your reformer is clean ever time. I have seen people bring a mat. Therefore one could bring that as well as an additional layer of safety. Membership aren't bad either. Once you sign up you have to commit to 3 months (not all paid at once but monthly). After those 3 months one could cancel without penalty. I do not foresee canceling as I enjoy my package of going once a week. Looking forward to many more classes! read more

What a terrible, unprofessional place this is. Myself and 5 friends booked an intro class a few weeks prior. They called me the day before the class to confirm. The day of the class I received a welcome text. I arrived to class early as requested in the message only to be told "well the class is full" when I inquired how this is possible as I was confirmed for the class, I was told there is an automated system that sends messages to those on the waitlist once someone cancels and the online allows for 15 spots. Please note there are only 12 spots in the actual class. I asked why they would intentionally over book the class and the two girls at the front said "it's so unusual that all 15 show up." There were no apologies no, offer to rebook, no consolation at all. In fact both girls had an attitude and took zero accountability. This is so extremely unprofessional and was such an unpleasant experience. Not only did you lose my business but 5 other ladies as well. Will never return to this establishment of poor business practices and poor customer service. Do better. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about the studio, the instructors, the management and the owners. Club Pilates in Pembroke Pines offers a uniquely supportive and encouraging environment for every level of Pilates student- from beginner to advanced. The instructors are especially attuned to each person's particular needs and really work towards helping everyone to reach their own, personal fitness goals. Everyone, regardless of fitness level, can benefit in some way from a consistent Club Pilates practice! Ashley, Kayla and Armine are all very experienced, extremely professional Pilates instructors, who are always available and willing to help you with anything Pilates related. They each have a unique style of teaching and a vast knowledge of Pilates technique, emphasizing the essential mind/body connection. I live right behind this place and decided to pop in since they said they have a free intro class. The front desk girl was extremely rude. I felt like I was bother her by just trying to sign up for a Pilates class. Asked her to save me the last spot for the upcoming class as I had to run home (1min away) for a payment method that they did take and she refused to hold it or have any kind of customer service skills to help me. Unfortunately this is the only Pilates place around here. I've been coming to Club Pilates for about a year, but recently upgraded to unlimited and I've never felt better! I started the classes here as a supplement to my high intensity workouts once a week, but quickly fell in love with it more and more until I decided to take the classes 5-6 times a week. The studio is clean, the equipment is good and updated. After I moved out of state and I obviously had to cancel the membership, they are making it extremely hard to cancel and say they will continue charging if I don't send them a form with the reason of cancelation plus proof that I moved out of state! The only problem I encountered was that many times I did not do the right position on the feet and unfortunately, the instructor didn't notice it; I have never done Pilates before and didn't even new the vocabulary used, less the positions and manipulation of the feet which are used a lot! Not long after I started I hurt one of the muscles on my right leg. My contract was over by the end of December and by November my right foot started to hurt to the point that I couldn't continue with the classes as I wished. I went to see a podiatrist and the results were "plantar fasciitis" which is very painful. All this started in November 2021 and right now my condition has worsened to the point that twice my doctor has ordered rest. I had X-Rays done and the bones are fine. Now I have to get an MRI to see exactly what is bothering me. I just hope that I didn't injured any soft tissue. I loved the classes, the instructors are knowledgeable and very nice but I honestly think that they should pay more attention to those like me who don't or didn't have any experience and need a little bit of couching at least when we start or started as I did. I am not asking to hold anyone's hand but to pay more attention and see what some of us are doing wrong and can cause any injury to oneself as happened to me. It is always nice to remember that having knowledge doesn't make us a good teacher if we don't know how to transmit that knowledge. This place is extremely unprofessional, they don't answer the phone or call you back. I called to cancel my membership and of course they didn't answer when I finally got someone on the phone they told me they were going to charge me anyways because they need 15 days notice. Their explanation for not answering the phone during regular business hours is they were busy or out of town. They also blamed me saying I should've left a voicemail or came in person... taking zero accountability for not answering the phone during NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS! Blows my mind that they would think it's better to have a pissed off customer being forced to come in for another month vs. allowing a first time customer to cancel their membership and potentially return. I was planning to cancel for a month to try spinning and then return to Pilates but that's definitely not happening now. I signed up online for the 30 minute intro class. It said to bring socks and work out attire. I arrived 10 minutes early and their internet was down, so they were having wait in the lobby area. They also were now requiring people to purchase sticky socks at $18 a pair for the intro class. At 7:10 I decided to depart because the class hadn't started yet & I walked out and went to pure barre. Paid the money and got a good workout and felt much more comfortable. Don't recommend coming here. Hopefully it gets better; has been open just a few weeks. read more

This place is awesome, always consistent (you will always know what to expect), and punctual. I so love Pilates and the long lean muscles you create, not to mention your core-strength. One of my favorites is the "Cardio-Sculpt," which is great for your bone density as you use the Jumpboard (so fun!) which is aerobic/cardio and burns lots of calories (I know my metabolism is increasing since I'm able to eat more without gaining weight!) So many times and types of classes to choose from. Being older and not an early riser the 10, 11, 12, and/or 1:00 work great for me! At the same time I can get an earlier am class in or one in the evening usually from 4:00 on! In addition, there are a variety of expert instructors to choose from. To schedule your classes and check your balance- their phone-app is user-friendly and there are categories where you can schedule your class according to the date, instructor, style/type of class, levels (intro, beginner, or more advanced) advanced). Win/win, the endorphins kick in around 15-20 minutes, and your body will thank you! read more

I signed up for the intro class. The pre opening special price is really good. I know it was just an intro class to see if we liked it but our instructor did not explain to set the reformer for our height. She did not explain the springs choices. When she would instruct us to put our feet on the bar she would not indicate if it was the heel, middle or toes. She was detailed to remind us to keep our core engaged, to watch our backs but in the end I wish she was more detailed and explained things more thoroughly. The place is new and shinny and the equipment is great. But the reformers are very close to one another. I have been going to another studio for about a month and I wouldn't change it. I would rather pay the extra money and get better quality service. read more
