I had a nice experience at this gym! I'm exploring boxing gyms in the area and this one got me…read morepretty sore the next day! You get split into two groups if the group is larger- team 1 on the bags, team 2 on the side turf. Jerome was the instructor (and the owner here), and is very patient with new people and just correcting form in general. People tend to lose their form when they get tired (myself def included), and he was there mainly at the bags helping my friends and I out and making sure we weren't approaching it in a poor fashion. I believe most of the people here are regulars, so its got a pretty "familial" feel. My one note is about the cleanliness- the gloves stink! I'd bring my own and get past that though. You can get a better deal if you buy packages at the Jym directly instead of online, so call ahead!

This is the best workout I've ever had in my life, hands down! I found out about this place from my…read moremom because she had purchased a Groupon online. I decided to check it out because I was looking for a more intense workout, on top of the swim classes already take. I signed up for a one-day free class, and I was absolutely hooked! This is a full body workout and you will get a really, REALLY, good sweat. If you decide to continue beyond the one day free trial, there is a 30 day intro option which is about $39. If you decide to do it continuously it's about $60 a month. Yes, you heard me right! You get a quality work out AND it's affordable. I've tried doing title boxing and I love kickboxing, but their prices are insanely high for the average spender. Once you're signed up classes are unlimited, and you can pretty much come anytime during the week when they're open. Jerome is the instructor/owner and he's really good about helping you get going. DON'T feel intimidated. There are people of all levels in the classes, the most important thing is to keep moving and to keep hitting the bag. If you can't do a certain exercise you can always alternate it for something else. I like it because it's not all boxing, but other exercises incorporated into it as well. I definitely recommend you give this a try. If you don't feel the class is for you, then don't worry. There will be no one trying to harass you into buying something you don't want. I plan to continue on a monthly basis. :)

Been with this gym for six months now. Had a decent relationship with my trainer, Bryant, until…read morestay at home orders. First, I told him I would continue paying him until I could get back in the gym. This is because I appreciate the toll it takes to own and run a business during a time such as this. He has a family and partners and I sympathize with that. For multiple reasons, I did not feel the same respect from him. My girlfriend and I made mention of the fact that her son has asthma, which puts him at a much higher risk of DEATH if he catches COVID-19. Bryant's response was short and un-remorseful. I asked him several times to help with at-home workouts, trying to get some sort of semblance of my money's worth. He did very little to help and ignored me multiple times. No checking up on me, no "hey how are your home workouts going?" "Is there anything I can do to help?" "Let me know if you need anything." Nothing. When my girlfriend, who was subbing yoga teaching as partial payment for her competition prep, told him that she was unable to teach yoga because of the stay at home orders and, again, her son has asthma and he is at higher risk, his response was "K". Absolutely no commitment to my experience as a paying customer other than "you can show up to the gym [illegally, risking your health and the health of those around you] and train." And then, when I asked for a refund for services that I WILL NOT BE RECEIVING, his response was basically "no." (Text screenshot attached). Notice we had a deal that I would help them with their social media as well. What I do for a living and charge $125 an hour to do. More than double what Bryant's time is worth. Because, I enjoy helping when I can. I advise anyone who is in the market for gyms and trainers to be very careful when making your selection as this is a small glimpse into the reality and their values and principles as business owners.
