As someone with level 1 autism, I came to Tampa Bay Recovery with genuine hopes of healing and…read moreprogress. While I've tried to maintain a positive attitude, my experience has been one of alienation, lack of individualized support, and, frankly, a deep misunderstanding of neurodivergent needs. From the outset, my communication challenges--clearly documented in my file--were misinterpreted as behavioral issues rather than manifestations of my condition. Instead of receiving support or accommodations, I was met with inflexibility and judgment. Staff routinely failed to recognize the social and cognitive differences that shape how I process group dynamics, stress, and interpersonal feedback. There is no medication for autism. It is a developmental condition that requires patience, understanding, and tailored engagement--not punitive responses or indifference. When I tried to advocate for myself respectfully, I was often dismissed or met with tone-policing rather than dialogue. If you are neurodivergent or seeking care that honors individual differences, I strongly advise you to ask hard questions before choosing this program. Recovery should not feel like survival. It should feel like being understood.

He's puts his wife at the front desk and she's very nasty to deal with. After 5 years, he cut me off cold turkey, AFTER I MADE payment. Robbed me. In 5 years I have had 3 office visits, in simply call the phone make the payment and they call my narcotics in Xanas , Adderalllls and Subutex , All max doses max amount, Pill mill that you cannot trust, it's like dealing with dr, jekyl a d ms Hyde. They are crazy, one time they are nice, the. Mean, then overly nice, then they act dumb, multiple personalities. It has been terror going there, but he's kept me steadily addicted, now without watching, CUT OFF. I'm Very ill and going through detox badly, I even made. My payment . Kerry is crazy. They had my Bf work at their home and he did so much work, they didn't even want to pay, cheapskates. They don't keep normal hours, they show up slaratically. , they are truly nuts, month to month depending on if his wife Kerry is working the front desk or 1 of about 4 people, you never know what to expect . It's a real task getting meds called in after payments they always keep you stressed out. This medical practice should be investigated and shut down, I feel like Could be going into shock right now it's hard tontypen bc I'm so sick. And Kerry is yelling on the phone. I mean, after going for 5 years they act like they don't eve. Know me .

When my father first moved into the nursing home, it was a good start over a year ago, but it has…read morecontinuously gone downhill. The Director of nursing Amanda is entirely incompetent and uncaring, as he received the wrong medications, jeopardizing his health and well-being. It was appalling to witness such negligence and lack of attention to the welfare of him and of other residents. And since he has continuously complained about the food not good or cold, wrong orders..and it has never been corrected. And having to wait and wait to get help... then when reaching out to the social worker Scott , he was no help at all and it is known throughout the residence that he doesn't care and doesn't want to help them. Furthermore, the building itself was in a state of disrepair, with cracked walls, leaking ceilings, and a general air of neglect. It was clear that no effort was being made to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the residents. We were told for over a year that they were going to start remodeling, but nothing has been done except touchup paint. And the elevators are out of inspection date, over a year. They shake, the doors open close then elevator doesn't move. Once my father got on the elevator and it dropped about a foot. I complained to the administrator and he said nothing is wrong with the elevator... I said everybody complains about the elevators and wanted to see it get fixed. It wasn't safe. I asked for a return call on progress of getting it fixed, no return call. I called their headquarters and no return calls there either. The elevator finally broke down, so everyone has to use the freight elevator and all the residents are on the second floor. And that elevator is shaky too... In conclusion, I would strongly advise against entrusting the care of your loved ones to this abysmal nursing home. The blatant disregard for the residents' health and safety, coupled with the dilapidated state of the building, make it a place to be avoided at all costs. Steer clear if you value the well-being of your family members.

The therapists were compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my recovery. My therapist, in particular, helped me work through challenges and develop the tools I needed to move forward with confidence. While I did not stay in the housing program, I saw firsthand how much effort the staff puts into supporting clients at every level of care. From transportation to AA meetings and recovery-focused activities to team-building events and recreational outings, they do an excellent job creating a supportive environment. One of the unique aspects of the program is its location--the beach is only a short walk away, providing a peaceful place for reflection and healing. Recovery is never easy, but Footprints Beachside Recovery gave me the structure, support, and encouragement I needed during an important chapter of my life. I am grateful for the experience and would recommend them to anyone seeking help and a fresh start.

Kourtney D. reached out every couple of days to see how I was doing and she was the only one who did that and made me feel so comfortable So she is the reason why I chose Clean Recovery. Then when I arrived, I met Chuck who registered me in and was fairly new employee, the most humble, funny person with the best attitude Great person to first meet when I arrived. I will never forget you, Chuck thank you for all the laughs and telling me that I got it.. Then the third person was Stephanie the head tech leader Where do I even begin such an amazing soul and the realest person that you could ever meet so helpful even when she was overwhelmed, she never said no, always with a smile and would do anything for you. I love you Stephanie and you'll be very missed I'm lucky that I got to meet someone like you Then there was Bridgette, another Tech I gave Bridgette every emotion that I was going through the first two weeks. She was the one that would happen to be there and get the raft of it. I bow down to you, Bridgette for never turning your back on me or never giving me an attitude when I was venting or going through a ton of emotions. You are an amazing person, a hard worker and I'm very lucky to have met you as well I will miss you very much and I will also never forget you being there for me Then there was Jordan another Tech with long hair His nickname was grizzly bear. He's very firm and strong and he doesn't tolerate nonsense and extremely hard worker he's Management material. but, his heart is huge and there were multiple times that he was there for me and would go out of his way to help me or anyone else and also makes me laugh. Jordan, I will miss you deeply and I know in your future you will be super successful in whatever you do Clean recovery is lucky to have you Then there's Patrick another Tech Patrick's like a big teddy bear. He was also fairly new when I arrived learning the ropes. I don't think Patrick has a mean bone in his body to anybody. He is so positive and wants the best for everyone and that's a rare thing to find in people and I'm lucky to have been part of your life Patrick and you will be very missed And there was Brady another tech Full of energy times 20 and he knows if you break any rules there's no hiding anything from Brady, but also has a big heart and would do anything for you, if it was allowed . I'm very lucky to have met you too Brady you'll be very missed Then there is Jasmine who also is a tech and is a extremely hard worker (I feel like she never goes home LOL) and is always here with a great attitude and cares for all. I will miss you Jasmine Then you have `-Damien & Rhonda two other techs The most sweetest kindest, loving people that also would do anything for you I will miss you both All of the techs that work in the Tampa location. If it wasn't for them, people would be losing their minds. They are the ones that make Clean recovery a better experience 100% Then you have Julia, who was my therapist, Heather V who is in charge of all the therapists, McKenzie who is case manager, Brian, who is the tech supervisor and Jessica, who is the nurse, and then Heather E who runs the show each and every one of you made my experience at Clean recovery so positive, uplifting and also difficult lol lol lol but truly helped me and made me feel like Clean Recovery was my home. Thank you to all of you and I'll never forget any of you

Total Creeps. I call this place "curasouth" lipstick on a pig. Fancy Florida landscaping on the outside but a low class psychiatric lockup on the inside. Seroiusly shop around, I am local but you don't want to come here if your still well enough to do air-travel. Anyway the salesman assured me before taking my $5000 I would be provided with a low carbohydrate meal plan for my diabetes and they made a token effort by getting me a rotisery chicken and turkey for sandwiches but they insisted on storing it out of my reach then when ever I wanted anything it was a huge hassle. Then after taking that sleeping medication with the side effect of intense hunger they can't find my food. No one cared. Go to sleep starving hungry from that sleep med. Then the next morning we are supposed to have eggs and bacon, great low carb but they can't "figure out" breakfast, everything is brought in from offsite, so everyone else ate the chips, sweets and soda the ONLY snack food available at this place. Even the clients no diet restrictions nothing to eat but what you would find at a highway rest stop, sweets chips and soda. No real juice no cereal no milk. everyone I talked to got "serax" for detoxification instead of the commonly used modern stuff like ativan. Seems serax some obscure is their one size fits all med they give everyone. Anyway I had enough, finished the detox medication and decided to go home. Nothing to gain by sticking around 3 more days nothing to do, nothing to eat but sugar/carbs it was IMPOSSIBLE to follow my SIMPLE diabetic diet and trying to sleep. It was time to go home. They took my phone, wallet, blood sugar meter and insulin hostage. Forged my e signature claiming I consented to that. No way I listened and read everything. You sign stuff but cant see the screen, its not a real signature on paper. Anyway I said I don't want to argue if you won't return my property please call me a police officer and they refused. That crossed the line into criminal behavior on there part refusing to call police. That's criminal. I called family on speakerphone wile these curasouth creeps listened into both sides of conversation and told family whats going on and if they did not hear from me in 2 hours send the police. Only then they started the discharge process. This place is so so low class, a "blackout facility" psychiatric lockup. Im local, I drank myself into a corner but I still can't believe people still well enough to go to the airport and get on airplanes came to this place. Don't do it. Shop around you don't want to come here if your still well enough to go to an airport and travel. Nothing here to be worth all that travel hassle, its low low class psychiatry lockup style detoxification.
