And having to wait and wait to get help... then when reaching out to the social worker Scott , he was no help at all and it is known throughout the residence that he doesn't care and doesn't want to help them. Furthermore, the building itself was in a state of disrepair, with cracked walls, leaking ceilings, and a general air of neglect. It was clear that no effort was being made to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the residents. We were told for over a year that they were going to start remodeling, but nothing has been done except touchup paint. And the elevators are out of inspection date, over a year. They shake, the doors open close then elevator doesn't move. Once my father got on the elevator and it dropped about a foot. I complained to the administrator and he said nothing is wrong with the elevator... I said everybody complains about the elevators and wanted to see it get fixed. It wasn't safe. I asked for a return call on progress of getting it fixed, no return call. I called their headquarters and no return calls there either. The elevator finally broke down, so everyone has to use the freight elevator and all the residents are on the second floor. And that elevator is shaky too... In conclusion, I would strongly advise against entrusting the care of your loved ones to this abysmal nursing home. The blatant disregard for the residents' health and safety, coupled with the dilapidated state of the building, make it a place to be avoided at all costs.
