Great selections of furniture, well organized clothing (by color and size) and high end brands. Excellent customer service too.

I loved how the items were categorized based on the decade they were made and you can find a lot of really cool vintage decor and trinkets at reasonable prices. Definitely a local spot to support.

I would be genuinely surprised if you told me that you couldn't find a vintage thing you were…read morelooking for in this space. That's because Sweet Lorain has everything and more. It's such a nostalgic loire with mid-century modern treasures between 1920 and 1980. I've now visited a few times and really loved my time here. It also has been recognized for being one of the best thrift shops in Ohio. I can see why! AMBIANCE/MERCH: The store occupies 10,000 square feet space on Lorain. It's a neighborhood well known for thrift to the extent that you can have your own crawl. Sweet Lorain has the main space, back space, and furniture room. The main space mostly contains old newspapers, vinyls, jewelry, and home decor. The furniture room has furniture and nostalgic toys. The back room is the treasure chest. You'll find global treasures, Ohio decor, Christmas decor, furs, clothing, luggage, hats, and never ending inventory of whatever you brain may dream up. Some inventory even indicates the era. The inventory pricing widely varies from a few cents to the thousands. Be ready to go on an archeological dig, there is an overwhelming amount of inventory and unique finds. I am a very picky thrifter, and even I can find things to light up about. I love the assortment of furs at Sweet Lorain. There are so many racks of fur coats, boxes upon boxes of muftas, stoles, and hats. There is a fabulous collection of feathered hats (let's bring this fashion back)! There are also a million other things to love. SERVICE: The service is pretty friendly, the owner and the employee always ask if you want help. I most impressed that the owner knows absolutely everything he carries in his enormous inventory. Just ask, and he'll tell you. PARKING: Small, gated parking lot is available onsite. You can also find plenty of street parking. SELL: This place allows you to sell your treasures. Make an appointment in advance. I plan to be back very soon to dig for formal accessories - shoes and clutches. If you have a formal occasion, venture out here. You'll find so many shoes, clutches, formal dresses, and everything in between. It's perfect destination for holiday outfit shopping and everything in between.

I ended up purchasing an item; hence, the reason I am writing this review. WHAT (type of store) -- Magically Found is a quirky shop filled with random items such as candles, cards, tea cups, etc. The owner was super friendly during my visit. She explained that this shop has what a grandmother living in an English cottage would keep at her house. ITEMS -- The owner explained this to be a witchy store hence the name "Magic" is in the store name. I am not into witch things neither do I believe in that but the store has many other items to buy. They sell matches, candles, candle stick holders, tea cups, and other random items. I bought a little square container ($9) that has a strawberry shaped top/cover. It can be used for anything such as to put earrings in or even cubed sugar. I still haven't decided what I'll use mine for but it is in my kitchen for now. I never knew this store existed in Lakewood but I'm glad to have stopped by. If you like antique or older items then stop on inside and support this small, local business. **** - 80/150 total reviews in 2023 - 631 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 November 2023

I've now shopped here multiple times and am always impressed by the thoughtful selections she so expertly curates. Whether you need a gift, want to buy yourself something, or just want your vibrations raised, this is the place to go. The store is just a feast for your eyes. It has a strong Practical Magic flare to it (and you may even hear its magical soundtrack playing). Dried herbs and flowers hang from the ceiling, taper candles are nestled into the most unsuspecting corners, and vintage wares are everywhere to be discovered. Rebecca self-describes her shop as "Eclectic Granny Decor, Cottage Witch Vibes" according to Instagram. As I type this, I have a taper candle made with dried flowers burning inside of a vintage owl holder. I love this shop and could truly buy everything in here. Rebecca is so creative and makes a number of the store products and is always putting together speciality boxes (think Taylor Swift themed, etc.). Come and visit this enchanting store when you really have the time to wade through it and soak it all in. I promise you'll fall in love! Easy metered parking is outside.

This year after having dug deep into how they use their monies and how they handle putting donations on the shelves!!!! I decided they would NEVER ever get one more item from me so today i boxed up 4-5 large boxes along with with some loose pillows and things and drove to the Salvation Army Thrift store in Strongsville. I had visited this site 4-5 weeks ago to see how THEY operate, the kinds of things they have on their shelves and how knowledgeable and helpful employees were. Much to my chagrin today, i walked in the rear entry door with my first box where no one greeted me nor were there more than 1-2 folks within earshot for me to call out to. The ENTIRE back room where their donated goods was overloaded and in a SHAMELESS shambles. I saw no one with any sense of urgency. I continued with the rest of my boxes and items placing them where i thought they would fit, not FALL OVER and left in a huff. There were 'prepared receipts' on clipboards for anyone to fill in what they want for IRS donations. Big Brother is apparently not watching. The retail store is scantily stocked when they could be loading up their shelves and making real some money but no, disinterested folks are lolling around talking to each other about last evenings tv show. Apparently, nobody has any needs in the poorer sections of Cleveland Ohio since nobody HERE had any interest in their jobs nor helping the less fortunate. I could run rings around the folks in this store, organize it, load up the retail store and help others. I worked for an international non profit for almost 20 years so i know how it gets done. I will never return to this store or any other Salvation Army (bellringers included) nor Goodwill. I will seek out a more needy organization who uses, appreciates and cares about donations.
