This business needs to be responsive for their ads. At a minimum, put up an autoresponder if you…read moredon't have someone to respond promptly to potantial customers. As I have looked over some of the reviews, thos company os never at fault and always seems to have a retort to consumers who are expressing their dissatisfaction. As a reminder, Yelp is a mechanism for us to express out opinions; the voice of the customer must ALWAYS be considered.

I tried to get a response from the text chain that was initiated when I booked the appointment, called 2 different phone numbers I could find online and emailed as well. No response. Then 3 hours later they get back to me and I asked that they still come. The issue with my car was concerning back brake lights that would not turn off and were draining the battery. The mechanic inspected and diagnosed that I needed my brake light switch replaced (also back brake light bulbs were burned out). He quoted me $420-$460 to fix it (that price included the $140 inspection and fuel surcharge fee). That sounded crazy to me so I just paid the $140 base fee said forget it, don't do the repair. I did some research on YouTube and checked out the situation myself, and it turned out to be just the rubber bumper piece that depresses the switch that had rotted and I was able to replace it with a bolt and washer I had on-hand for free. And anyway, if it had been a bad switch, that part only costs $10-$20. I'm pissed that the guy was going to over-charge me and I can't help but think it was because I'm a woman.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE PLEASE!!…read more They agreed to refund me $577 after $8500 spent on a stock transmission without a single part of their original rebuild on my truck. I am writing this long overdue review because I had hopes that there would be some humanity left in this leadership here. I am 24 now and this has been going on since I was 21. I live in NC and went to college in VA. I was visiting family and working with my uncle in Tennessee and on my drive back through the mountains, my 200,000 mile stock transmission gave out on me. Luckily for me my Uncle knew someone here at this shop and we got it to this shop. This shop then fully rebuilt my transmission (asking if I wanted to keep the shift kit, and me not knowing anything about this stuff said, "is it good, and will it hurt it"), to then hear that, "yes it could help and shouldn't hurt it". A little over 8,000 miles later at college, the truck started having shifting issues. I called this shop and was told they would need to see it to figure it out so I paid over $1,000 to get it towed to their shop, and instead of it being "covered by warranty" I was told the shift kit was causing a problem and I had to pay to get it removed. Then I had to pay to fly out, get my truck and drive it back to college. Then earlier last year my truck started slipping gears, so I scheduled it in to get looked at by a shop that was also going to work on something else for me. (I continued to drive it until then because this was my only vehicle.) Brian (my person of contact here) will lie and say that I drove on it with the knowledge that it wasn't holding transmission fluid. HOWEVER, I only found this out as soon as I got it taken to the shop in NC. As soon as I found this out, I had the truck parked at that shop and immediately called this shop. The diagnosis at that shop cost me $680. I told Brian I do not want it to be looked at this shop again because you have failed me twice now. So I had a shop that I found here local and he said no it has to be an ATRA affiliated shop so I paid to get the truck towed to the shop he wanted. That shop told me that I need a COMPLETE TRANSMISSION REBUILD. (THIS IS A LITTLE OVER 6,000 MILES SINCE THIS SHOP LAST "FIXED IT". This ATRA affiliated shop quoted me $4200 for the rebuild and Brian was upset and surprised by that high price. Then I mentioned my shop again which he agreed to go to, telling me, "I am doing you a favor". Brian then agreed to pay ONLY for the parts through his source, saying that I don't have an out of state warranty so he isn't liable. EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW I DIDNT LIVE IN TN AND THAT MY TRUCK BROKE DOWN OUT OF STATE. I then paid to get my truck towed to the shop I mentioned and he agreed to. I was contacting Brian with every update I got. I gave him the shops contact information and told him to discuss what they need. Then I was completely ghosted by Brian and his parts source. My truck is just sitting at this other shop (MY DAILY DRIVER AND ONLY VEHICLE), so the shop that had it said since Brian was ghosting me, that he would start on it and I could deal with him later. I had to purchase another vehicle in order to get to my job. Now I have had my own issues with this other shop and their staffing issues. But once I got the truck back, I sent the invoice to Brian that was itemized so he could see the prices. This lead to argument after argument and excuse after excuse and even telling me I was committing fraud. I have so much more to say and evidence of all of this. But to conclude, I have now paid over $8,500 to have a running STOCK REBUILT transmission again, paid for a car, and been treated in the most unprofessional and disrespectful/dishonest way by this shop. I am now 24 years old and this entire time I have had more character and integrity than this shop has had. All this drama over paying for only the parts after months of issues. PLEASE TAKE YOUR VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
