Rip off! Took our Ford F150 4x4 truck there a couple of…read moreyears ago to have the transfer case replaced. They installed a rebuilt transfer case at a cost of about $2,500. It came with a one-year warranty. 11 months into the warranty the transfer case went out again. We returned to Wilson's for warranty service. It took them WEEKS to look at the truck and verify that it needed another transfer case. Then the vehicle sat there while they ordered the warranty replacement. Finally, a couple of weeks later, they got around to installing the replacement transfer case. The truck was there for 2 months for this 'warranty service'. How are we supposed to do without a vehicle for 2 months? Ridiculous! And now, a year later, the transfer case that was replaced under warranty has gone out. Obviously this shop is not buying quality rebuilt parts. The original transfer case lasted 25+ years. But their replacements won't last a year. This truck does not get hard use and only gets put into 4wd a few times a year for travel on a country dirt road. Stay away unless you want to waste your money and your time.

Cost me $300 to tow it home, and the first thing these guys said was, "we're not paying for that". No, bring it in and we'll see what we can do. I was also told that they do not guarantee any of their work when it leaves the shop. Crazy, huh? Steer clear of these guys.
