First time buying a home. Couldn't recommend more highly! Drew Clemens did an amazing job educating us on the process and each step. We spoke with a few other loan brokers out there, but it was quickly obvious that, for one reason or another, maybe just experience and willingness, these guys have access to more creative options. Other places felt like they were just handing us a mass-produced product in their loan/options, while Drew elaborated every option, all the break-even or tipping points on the down payment vs loan vs mortgage payment amounts, kept us apprised of fluctuating market conditions that could affect our rate lock-in, and even advised on when to start selling off some of my other investments to meet funding deadlines. We ended up pulling our dream property out from under a prolonged escrow by offering a shorter 20 day escrow with 10 days to remove all contingencies. Drew contacted the listing agent directly to assure we could fund the loan that quickly, and impart whatever else he could to make our offer as appealing as possible to the sellers. Our property is in a difficult area to get fire insurance, but drew connected us with a his own property insurance agent who was able to get us the same coverage others were offering for about 1/2 the price. Among all the anxiety of the experience, anytime I called Drew, he did a great job restoring sanity to my thought process and cooling my emotions. Dude was my rock through this whole process. Best mortgage broker I've ever had the pleasure to work with! This time Beau called us up and told us about the fantastic refinance opportunity. We weren't checking the interest rate market regularly, so without Beau, we would have missed a significant amount of savings. Again, he offered the best rate, no games. Be aware of other online brokers who would quote you a low rate but couldn't deliver once the process starts. I had an awful experience with a Costco broker before who baited and switched, then stopped communicating. It took almost 3 months to close...
