I'm extremely shock, muy sorprendido for the negative comments about Transporte Zuleta. He enviado 3 cajas a El Salvador con ellos en los últimos 6 meses. Las 3 cajas llegaron a su destino antes de la fecha esperada y su entire content was delivered intact. The rates are muy económicas. Ya no les den negocios a esta gente. Nosotros los Latinos tenemos la culpa en darles negocio a estas compañías. Mi mamá mandó dos cajas y una caja metió unas almohadas grandes y la caja se abultó un poco. Uno les explicó que por las almohadas la caja va así, hasta de le demostró al personal que llegó a recoger a caja que son las almohadas. Nosotros le presionamos a la caja para que vea que son las almohadas. Justo hoy, un día antes de salir la caja, le llaman a mi mamá a decirle que tiene que pagar 100$ en el instante o si no, no le llevan la caja. La presionaron diciendo que tiene una hora para llegar a la oficina o no le llevan la caja y siempre le cobraron 100$ por irle a dejar la caja a la casa de regreso. Mi mamá les explico que porque se llevaron la caja y no le explicaron antes de llevársela. En fin, Zuleta Express la presionaron en pagar lo extra que pidieron. Habia usado transporte Zuleta por unos años . pero desde que cambiaron las oficinas nunca contestan . siempre cambian el día de recoger o dejar las cajas y luego la excusa q usan es que llamaron y no se les respondió . He mandado caja cada año a Guatemala por mas de 10 años por transporte Zuleta y siempre han sido muy efectivos llevan la caja a mis familiares hasta la puerta de la casa y llega entre 2 y 3 semanas. Yo lo recomiendo si van a enviar para Guatemala read more

Don't deal with this company. They don't answer the phone, won't return calls, have no idea what happens to your package. If you do get in touch with them they say it's in customs and it will be two more weeks. They did that for 18 months before the package was delivered. Absolutely unreliable. read more

they steal from you making you pay deposit twice if you don't have a receipt. I never got a receipt. I ordered the first time and they will not give you the box if you don't give a deposit. so obviously if I got the box it's because I payed the $20 deposit. this is their way of stealing from new customers. make sure you ask for a receipt other wise you'll pay $20 twice just for the heck of it! read more

Do Not USE! I always used them and never a problem. Sent a package to Guatemala (which is prepaid here is US) They made the recipient Pay again, even tho he provided receipt of payment, upon receival and now won't give a time when they can refund the money!! only a manager can authorize and he doesn't have a work schedule, so whenever he decides to show up!! read more

This company steals from its clients. I will be filing a lawsuit ASAP! My mom sent a package to El Salvador they opened the package and stole the contents then filled it with junk. They are professional thief the problem is that they think they are going to get away with it. read more

We have used Zuleta before with complete success. We did go to Hyattsville to pick up the box. Prices are very reasonable compared to the post office. My only complaint is that their email doesn't work. I will have to call them tomorrow on the phone. We ship to Tegucigalpa Honduras. read more

Do not use this company for sending packages to El Salvador they are extremely unreliable, I had my package open and a lot of things stolen by their package handlers in El Salvador. For the high price paid to have your things delivered, it's not worth the risk. read more

Their service leaves little tone desired. They promised to bring a box for packaging and they didn't show up. Having our number and no professional customer service they never called to let us know that they could not deliver that day. So they then say they'll deliver the next day. My mom stays home and doesn't get her errands done just so she can be told that they don't plan to drop anymore more boxes and have the audacity to tell her that she can come to their facilities to pack her box there. Unfortunately their is no other competitor for them so families rely on their inadequacies. read more

My aunt sent a package to her country 5 months ago and the package to this date has not arrived yet. When you contact Transportes Zuleta's office the employees give you such a run around. First of all you can never speak to a manager because the only manager is Camila who is NEVER in the office to respond to your complaint. You can't leave a message for this manager either because the employees are not allowed to take down a message. There is no other higher up you can speak to including the owners. This company's policy to deliver your package in 4-6 weeks (estimated time) is obviously a lie! Customs in El Salvador has stated that this company doesn't pay taxes which is the reason your package will never get to you. DO NOT use this company because as you see you will NEVER see your package again! The customer service is terrible! We will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if they are even listed on there. read more

I was surprised to read the negative reviews on this site. I have been sending huge packages of books and school supplies to a school in Honduras for the past 3 years. Twice the package was held up in customs but both finally went through. Nothing has ever been reported missing when it arrived. The people in the office here have always been very helpful. I don't know what I'd do without this company because it is the only affordable option I was able to find to send things to Honduras. I especially like that they charge by the size of the box, not by the weight. The books make the packages very heavy, so this company has provided a service for which I am very grateful. They also take a picture of the person receiving the package and send it to me. I would give them 5 stars, if they were consistently faster and if I could track the package online. But many of these things are probably just not possible once the package leaves our borders. read more
