He went to back and printed off a new tag for it to be the price he thought it was. The woman was very thankful that he did that and that made me want to come back and to also I like that they have certain colors that are on sale, I like that it includes the plastic tag on things as well. They are certain colors too. I found some great stuff but you have to do some searching because a lot of things are expensive and prices you would see at a big box store. Two bins of Lego's over $100. I wonder if they ever sell anything at those prices. They do have a "sale" section. But it's a "thrift" store, why would you have a "sale" section.. Well because the prices are so high. I dunno, I don't think we will be back because we have so many real thrift stores around here that are thrift store prices. Testing is cheap and easy I found out.. especially for a store that gets everything for free. Signage about the risk could be another solution, again very cheap. At the very least what I called asking for was a refund and explained why and the guy on the phone was extremely rude and made it clear that he could care less (apparently he is the manager). I will never shop here again because if he cares this little about customers growing a literal human being imagine how he treats his employees!

I am always greeted warmly by the volunteers, and strike up genuine conversations each trip. The shelves are abundant but still well-organized, offering everything from home decor to utilities to crafting supplies. Prices are fair and affordable, which is so refreshing amidst the overcharging of big corporations. I appreciate this especially as a college student on a budget. And every purchase I make goes toward the most precious animals! I visit them frequently, too. :) I'm so excited for the opportunities that their relocation and expansion will bring; I can't wait to swing by the animal corner at the front once it's been developed!

There's an eclectic mix of stuff. Prices can be just OK or totally super value. I always have to make sure I have a wad of cash if I go in because it's a rare day that I leave empty handed. Fun dishes, kitchen implements, groovy clothes, hats, random bits of hardware, and who even knows WHAT you'll find. Sometimes I just have to leave things I want because I already have enough stuff. But wow. Just wow. Then there's the staff. Is it OK to call them staff? They are volunteers. They do their work because they love the Humane Society. You know what? That's awesome too! Their revenue goes to the local Humane Society and provides over a quarter of the Humane Society's annual budget. That's huge. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I better get on down there; it's been a couple days!
