I hate to say it since I used to absolutely LOVE this store, but I can not recommend this store now, and these are the reasons why. This store was formerly known as Teen Challenge and was located on main street in Lebanon, Oregon. They had a smaller building before moving locations and rebranding as what is now SuperThrift. Every since their rebranding and location change, they have turned into a totally different kind of thrift store and lost everything about them that made them a great place to shop. Shoppers used to be able to find all kinds of unique and different things to purchase for fair prices, but now it is always the same stale inventory, and the prices have skyrocketed. Just today I made the trip there, and once again walked away without buying anything since there was nothing worth buying, it was mostly the same items that were there last December, and the few new items were basically leftover garage sale items nobody would want. There was a single item I considered buying until I saw the price tag that was more than what it costs on eBay in better condition, without the battery compartment corroded. Apply this same thing to so many of the other items they offer for sale, and you start to get the picture of why it is no longer worth the trip to shop with them. They claim to not be selling anything online themselves, yet the items that used to be common place before the move have completely vanished from the store, so they are either being thrown away, or are somehow leaving the store before making it out to the sales floor, no idea. Another problem is the bribery in return for Google reviews to make them look better. They are bribing customers against Google policy with free items and discounts to leave Google reviews for them, this causes a highly inaccurate picture of what this store is like. To sum it up, this store seems to have completely lost sight of what won them so many customers before they rebranded, and has become just another Goodwill, but with much, much less product. They went from me making the drive from out of town 3 times a week to shop with them, to now not being worth the trip more than once every couple of months, if I am already in Lebanon anyhow. I use to absolutely love the teen challenge store in Lebanon but ever since they moved locations and became super thrift, it's just not worth the fuel to shop here. They threw away everything that made them a great store and it's like they went corporate, trying to emulate Goodwill or something. It's a much larger store, nicer looking but with much less inventory than when they had the smaller store, and it mostly just sits unsold for weeks and weeks. It's almost heartbreaking how they went from the best store within 100 miles to now being a store I almost never visit. They have completely lost sight of everything that made them great before.
