We found this fine restaurant on Yelp. Since my husband & I are both vegan I called to ask if they could accommodate us. We were assured they could and made our reservation. About 2 hours later I got a call from a staff member who asked more ?'s, and then actually called 2 more times for further clarification. First off the restaurant is lovely! The staff is professional & extremely welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful & charming. They even have a copper pizza oven!! The Chef's wife makes a fresh sourdough bread that is delicious even without the fresh olive oil they normally they serve with it! We started with salads which were delicious & very fresh & crisp!! The chef had prepared us a special meal of fresh vegetables with a light wine sauce with spaghetti. Truly outstanding! We shared a lovely coconut sorbet that was a perfect way to end this amazing dinner! Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner extra special. We trekked from Lancaster in the snow to come back here and we brought 3 friends with us. The food was fantastic as usual, my husband had the Cornish game hen and pork belly with red wine Demi glacé, I had the cast iron seared Arctic Char with blood orange Romesco on chestnut polenta, roast kale and cabbage. For dessert we had pumpkin cheesecake. The service was perfect, gave us enough time to chat and order. The ambiance was great, nice, quiet, and warm. We'll definitely be back. read more

The high rating diverted us, a group of five on a business trip to Lancaster Products, from where we were heading to TRATTORIA FRATELLI, where we enjoyed a truly fabulous dinner and even met the master chef and owner, Kevin Brown. Food was excellent. We started with a 4 cheese pizza and a melon/presutto as appetizers.....both were great. The second course we all had salads...the crowd favorite was the one with bacon dressing (can't remember the name). For entree we had pesto chix pasta and beef cheeks...tasty. We wrapped up the meal with an olive cake which was very dense, but good. The only reason for the 4 star review is that they close at 8pm....we had reservations at 7:00. As soon as the clock struck 8 they closed the bar (literally put cloth over the bottles) and the waitress not so subtly hinted it was time to go. However, if you find yourself visiting and had to go somewhere for dinner one night, then I would highly recommend Trattoria Fratelli. The "Who's Who" of Lebanon is typically there, and that is because the food really is just stand out. High quality, with a ton of love poured into it. It easily matches quality that you can find in any major city. I've even heard some folks say the quality reminds them of meals they've had in Italy. Not only do they have great food, but they have high-quality service. You can go here and have a more casual dinner sitting at the bar, or have a fancier date night, and still leave in both circumstances feeling full and totally taken care of. They have incredible deals throughout the week, one of which I'm dying to go back for. On Tuesdays they have a dinner for two of chicken parm, pasta, and a bottle of wine that runs for $55. Talk about affordable! If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try. read more

We ordered the wedding soup which was incredibly salty. Our salad and appetizers were good. The main course was not the greatest, but passable.
