Joan was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire planning process. We had plenty of questions--often on weekends when we finally had time to sit down and plan--and she was always there with prompt, helpful answers. At one point during our trip, I made a somewhat frantic call because I wasn't sure where we were supposed to be going next. Joan calmly re-sent our updated itinerary (which I later realized I hadn't read as carefully as I should have!) and got us back on track in minutes. Joan also helped us select the cruise line that best matched our travel style. During the trip, we talked with passengers from several other cruise lines and asked why they had chosen theirs. One person said they primarily cruised because they received free cruises through casino gambling. We never even set foot in the casino--that simply isn't who we are. We extended our Alaska cruise with a three-night land tour and also added hotel stays before and after the trip. Joan's hotel selections exceeded our expectations. M & K Travel Services is Fraud. Please read this review, and this will save your headache and money…read morethat you will be paying. I bought a ticket in April 2014, and paid with credit card. In order to pay with credit card, M & K Travel send you a form to complete and return it by SCANNING with your Driving license and the Credit Card copy. **The catch: No date column listed on the form.** In December 2014, I was charged second time for the same ticket I paid for in April. In Jan 2015, I was charged the third time I paid for the ticket in April 2014. Now for one ticket, my credit card was charged three times. Due to access charges, and my credit limit, I couldnt use my card anymore. I politely called the company and a call center rep took my message. "Paul" called me back and said that he will have the account check and give me a refund. Two weeks down the line, I get a confirmation of the refund. There were two receivpts attached, therefore I thought that they refunded me to TWO Exta transactions they charged. But that wasn't the case. They refunded me only for one transaction. Now when I called back to tell them that they still owe me for one extra transaction they did, Paul said that he refunded me and I need to deal with my bank now. Called up credit card company and explained them the situation. And they filed for dispute. Now for the dispute, Paul sent out the paper work which was meant for the Original transaction. Result: My credit card company came back and said that the two transactions are valid because I signed two forms and they charged me twice with my consent. The reason they did is because there was no column for date on the paper they made me sign and turned that in TWICE for the same charge. Now three months down the line, I filled another dispute that required more inofrmation from the agent - Like TWO Tickets # since they charged me twice. And this time they did not have any thing to fake, and my bank refunded me my money, and paid them only for that one transaction that I was liable for. END RESULT: To save $20 on a ticket that I bought it from M&K Travel, I had to waste 4 months running around for my two INVALID transaction that they charged without my consent. The Bank asked for proof of second transaction and they turned in paper work from first one. THIS IS straight up FRAUD. Please buy tickets directly from a reputable company or Expedia. At least you will have peace of mind and not have to worry about credit card FRAUD.

Adults are $8, children are $4, and everyone gets a paper factory hat you wear, and a small package of jelly beans for after the tour. There weren't many people present around the 2PM timeframe, I saw more people coming in at 3PM when I was heading out. I won't go into too much detail on the tour, but it's pretty fun and should be much more exciting on a weekday. It's filled with fun facts and there are some interactive activities and photo-ops, topped off with fun facts and trivia. There is also a museum you can visit by a 5 min walk or a tram ride. It's filled with old factory parts and the history of the company. I also enjoyed the jelly bean art present both at the factory tour and the museum. All in all, we spent about 1.5hours here, and is easily extendable to 2+ hours with kids or if you're into history. The jelly bean factory shop has some items on deep discounts and are a lot cheaper than in-store ones at 3rd parties. I would definitely stock up here until your next visit. There are also gift boxes to bring to family and friends both in country and to countries where jelly beans aren't sold or are more expensive. Either way, if you're a fan of jelly beans, then you best believe this is your best bet for the best deals and arguably best selection...it is the factory after all!
