This is our favorite go to coffee shop whenever we're headed up north. Their breakfast options I've tried have all been very good! The steak and egg wrap with extra sauce is by far my favorite. I usually go with something basic to drink, the iced matcha latte is always made the exact same whenever I order it. The workers are all super nice, very helpful when it comes to providing recommendations. The shop always has calm music playing and there's plenty of seating if you're there to do work or just have breakfast/coffee. We'll continue coming here whenever we're headed up north! read more

Yesterday, I visited Journey Coffee, and I found the ambiance exceptionally appealing. My husband and one of my employees both ordered the egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches, which they found highly enjoyable. I selected the avocado toast. While it was satisfactory, the avocado tasted more like a vinegar-based spread than freshly mashed avocado, which is my personal preference. Typically, I appreciate avocado toast prepared with fresh avocado; therefore, this was the sole aspect I would have altered. In summary, my experience was pleasant, and I would undoubtedly return. It's my first time here. I ordered their seasonal banana fosters matcha and tried the lemon loaf slice. The matcha has some sweetness, but it's just enough for me. The lemon loaf is a bit dry. It was the last one and it's close to the end of the day. The staff were friendly and quick. The atmosphere was pretty chill even with the amount of customers they had. They originally told me they couldn't do it but then changed their mind as long as I paid $2.00 extra, I then disputed it because all the other stores do it for me free of charge along with morning crew and they reduced it to $1.50. I got their yogurt parfait and banana bread. The yogurt parfait was really bitter and there wasn't enough strawberry purée in my opinion to counter the bitterness. Half way through, I felt like I was trying to finish it to not waste it more than I was enjoying it. I would say the banana bread was good and moist. It's really spacious inside and there's a lot of tables to eat or study. The service was great. I don't think I'm a big fan of their food, but would go back strictly for their coffee. read more

I love this location! Great place to study and get some work done with delicious food and drink options. There's plenty of seating and tables to work on with chargers. The staff is welcoming when you walk in the door. Love getting the sweetened matcha lattes here. I would recommend it if you like your matcha on the sweeter side. I recently tried one of their seasonal drinks which was the banana foster matcha latte and it was so good! Love the strong banana flavor with the matcha. I got avocado toast and my son got a egg bacon cheese burrito. Both were pretty good. I didn't like the sprouts on my avocado toast because I can see the dirt on them like they didn't wash them possibly I'm not really sure but I took those off and was satisfied with the avocado and pickled onion combo on the toast. My son was skeptical at first because the tortilla was green but after he tried, it said that he didn't taste the difference and then it was really good. Hold up! Wait a minute - how is it that I've visited Journey's for the past 3 years and have yet took the time to send a review. Needless to say, Journey is 5 stars all the way! Breakfast wrap is our go-to for hot food and let's not forget Nutella pop tart as well. As far as drinks, I'm the chai or matcha type of person so it just really depends on my mood by the time I reach the register. Seasonal drinks available when posted. Keep in mind, Weekends here are always packed so there may not be any spot available to sit and chill. The location is great for hanging out, studying, and working. The cookies and cream latte is 5/5 especially with the cookies and cream cold foam ! 10/10. Matcha latte is also a 5/5. The only reason why they lost a star because they're not always consistent with their coffee especially when I throw them curve balls like extra ice or "add the cookies and cream foam" it's literally a hit or miss just like other coffee shops. The location is so nice and huge. Lots of tables and art to view while there. Hubby got to check the place out for his first time. We decided to get Affogato and a seasonal banana bread muffin with hubby after a visit at the pumpkin patch nearby. We found a table and waited for our items to be called out. We got them and enjoyed every sip and bite of our drink and snack. It was all so delicious. We both agreed the affogato was the best we have ever had. Today I visited Journey Coffee to honor a loved one and enjoy some quality time with my partner. We both ordered drinks: we got one House Brew Medium Roast with White Chocolate Syrup + a Chai Latte with Oat Milk. Both were delicious! In addition we ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich, Grown Up Grilled Cheese with Red Pepper Tomato Soup & a banana bread slice. Everything was so good, we will definitely be coming back again to enjoy these once more and to explore more of the menu. I don't have the names of the workers but the man who took my order was such a helpful and kind person, he has cool anime tattoos that we bonded over (HxH and Naruto). He deserves a raise! I will be back to talk to him again and to get more anime recommendations. He suggested my partner and I watch Code Geass so we will be watching that soon. I don't know what to do people. I have a love hate relationship with this place. Let's start with the love. Most important part is that the coffee is very good. One of the better places in the area which does not have great options. I also like the vibe and think the people working here are very nice. What I don't like however is THEY DONT POST PRICES ON THE COFFEE. Prices seem to change and I don't think this is right way to run the business. A Cappuccino with oat milk is $6.75 (at least as of the date of this review) and to me that is a little over the top and that is before tip which I like to leave even though I have opinions on this as well. Not crazy and some are charging that but I typically pay about 1.50 less at a couple other very good spots. The temp of the coffee always changes as well (I am fine with normal differences) with sometimes being like warm and sometimes being very hot. So I would say coffee is 4/5 and little tweaks to business lost a star (scolding coffee today and no prices being posted for anything but food). read more

The first exit and located in a semi-busy area with Sutter and a few other organizations around. I love the interior and the pastries they have. I was so excited to try the Nutella pop tart after seeing it for so long. My mom and I loved everything. I customer service was good and the energy in the space is nothing but good. You can see the coffee grinders on one side with seating on the opposite end. They even have a little space in the front for a little catch and release with the kids or with the dogs. read more
