I was amazed by how much knowledge Chrissy has from the best times to get to the park, when to order lunch, to what rides we should go on, where reservations for wheelchairs are, how to use the Disney app, and some tips and tricks I never would have known about without her that only helped to optimize our experience while we were there. I received a pdf with all the information I needed to get around the park. Chrissy was always available, even to make last minute changes to our dinner reservation while we were at the park waiting in line for a ride. I would highly recommend that you give yourself peace of mind to just enjoy your vacation with your family and friends and let Chrissy do all the planning for you! I will be using her again the next time I am planning on going back. She is passionate about Disney and making sure you have the most magical time!

She was able to plan our entire day from making breakfast and dinner reservations based on my budget to suggesting the rides we went on. This freed up my time to allow me to pack and get everything else ready for our trip. Then the day of Disney, I went into Magic Kingdom with a game plan. I followed the map Chrissy provided me which had ride suggestions based on my kid's heights and interests. She also included a list of rides if my family wanted to split up since it was 2 toddlers and 5 adults. I mean how perfect is that! My parents were very impressed I knew exactly where to go after each ride and it's all thanks to Chrissy. Disney can be overwhelming when trying to figure out what rides to go on or where to eat but with everything planned for your family you can really enjoy the Disney magic. When our flight from Tel Aviv to Petra was canceled, Magma took care of the rebooking and the extra night at the hotel. We traveled with extended family ~30 people and they had no trouble accommodating such a large group. I am going on an expensive high-end trip so I would expect a travel agency to be attentive, communicative, and check in on occasion. Judy Perl does none of the above. I had to reach out to them when final payment was due because I hadn't heard from them in months. When my credit card company flagged the large charge and declined it, I had to figure it out for myself. No one reached out. And once it was cleared up, I had to check in to make sure I was all paid. You think they'd want to be sure that their travelers were paid?!? And now I'm about a month out from the trip which requires a specific packing list and I have not heard a thing. I went back to the confirmation of my trip from a few months ago, one of the few communications they initiated, to find a link to a website and figure out where within the website to find the recommended packing list. From other agents or agencies I've used in the past, this is something they would have already reached out on. Even discount agencies I've used have been more proactive. Don't expect full service from this travel agency, even if you're paying a premium. I hope New York Times finds another agency to work with. Otherwise, I would have second thoughts about booking another trip with the New York Times and after this experience I'd never use Judy Perl on my own.

Their website clearly advertises a limousine or Lincoln Town Car experience, so I expected something along those lines. Instead, a Tesla showed up at my door an hour and a half before our prepaid dinner reservation. While the driver was polite and professional and the ride itself was pleasant, the overall experience was not what I paid for. I was charged nearly $200 for what felt like a basic ride I could have booked on Uber for half the price. When I complained, the company told me this was "standard" because they outsource rides to third parties -- something I was never informed of beforehand. To make things worse, their idea of making it right was offering me 10% off the base rate -- a grand total of about nine dollars, which is less than what my latte costs me daily. That token gesture only underscored how little they value their customers' experience. For anyone expecting a true luxury or private car service, be aware that what's advertised may not be what you get. Transparency and honesty matter, especially at this price point. If you're looking for a reliable high-end experience, I've had much better service with EmpireCLS, who actually deliver what they promise.
