I live in a community where, according to management, vehicles are not supposed to be towed within one minute when someone is briefly picking up a passenger, making a delivery, or using the restroom. I have timestamped video showing her approaching my door at 4:03 p.m. At 4:04 p.m., the tow truck was already backing up to take her car. The driver was clearly waiting and fishing for an opportunity to tow someone. These tactics are ridiculous and reflect a serious lack of integrity. I understand my community's parking rules, and it is troubling that this company's drivers either do not know them or choose to ignore them for profit. This company needs to train its drivers properly and conduct business with greater honesty and professionalism. Please do better. They took on a bigger project than they were qualified for, damaging a part after another, eventually replacing the hybrid battery and transmission. After applying daily pressure on them on a continuous basis , I finally received my car in April, however, the shop still owes me $583 for one of the car rentals they told me to purchase. I kept calling to retrieve the money but they didn't keep their word and denied paying me back. I could have easily placed a lien on the business for $583 with all the proof to retrieve my money but you know my good heart didn't follow through. Instead, writing this review will sting bigger and is the least I can do for the people. Im an easy going guy but after going through this extensive car repair, we decided to pull away from doing any future business for the wrong doing and unprofessionalism of their actions. I believe it's only right for everyone to hear about this and avoid what I went through, therefore, save yourself a headache. The owner is not a man of his word. This will bake in slowly. P.S. I took my 2011 Honda civic sedan in and I needed a few things covered. An oil leak, my air conditioning, and my speedometer was still on but not showing how fast I've been going. J had it for about 45 min (they were busy) and he was able to run diagnostics, find the oil leak and figure out the pump was out in my car. I don't particularly like sharing number but in my research and at a Honda dealership I would have been in the hole 3k easily and 1k of that would have just been for the diagnostics. Jay was more than fair with his price and Was straight forward with the price, but it did not break the bank and when you know you have a good mechanic you don't have to question your trust in them. Called on a Friday at noon and spoke with Jeff and told him my Jeep didn't pass smog, and what the fees were to diagnose the problem. He let me know the fees and said we could bring it down today and he would probably have it over the weekend to see what was going on. Dropped it off right away, it's only a couple miles from my house, and Jeff called with an update on Monday and said what the problem was and how much it would be to fix it. I approved the charges and he also said they could do the smog test and certification too. Great! I don't have to take it to another place to see if it passes, Crescent Auto will do it all! Got the Jeep back, Jeff explained everything and gave us the detailed invoice with the smog certificate and off we went. My husband usually works on our vehicles, so this was a first for us to take the Jeep anywhere and it was definitely in good hands with Jeff and Crescent Auto. I would have done it myself but i just got surgery. I was lucky enough that Dwayne replied to my post and i was able to be accommodated at J&M Once i got there, i thought that it seemed like the shop was small but apparently it goes all the way to the back. They've mentioned have a number of bays so that's they can work on multiple autos at the same time. The service i requested was simplebut it was done with care and they were pretty quick. They were able to diagnose the problem fast and i was out of there in a giff. Chris was straight forward helpful and was really fired up. The front staff Kay was really nice, pleasant, and courteous. I appreciate their attitude towards work and guests. They've mentioned that they've been here 17 years so that's a plus. Value wise, i can say that they've really done pretty well. Price isn't as expensive as other shops and they offer options for you. Will definitely recommend this shop to my colleagues and neighbors. I just wished I learned of this shop sooner.
