This place is 100% a scam and has been reported to AAA as they "recommend" them. Brought my car in for a gas leak. I already pulled the code and knew what was wrong with it. They took 2 weeks and proceeded to charge me $187 to "diagnose it". Then they told me that they couldn't tell the problem and I would have to pay and EXTRA $600+ for them to pull out the intake to diagnose it. And that the total after everything would be $1,500- $2,200 depending on the problem. I took my car home used a YouTube video, borrowed tools and $57 of BRAND NAME PARTS from Mazda themselves. Took me less than 3 hours to do it myself and I have not so much as changed a tire in my lifetime. Complete scammers if a little girl could do it for $57, 3 hours and a YouTube video. I gave this company a second chance first time one of there mechanics put oil in the carpet of my truck not only the driver side the passenger side too, and in the back seat, Now there leaving bolts off and not reconnecting my conditioning plug, which they told us they never touch, this was not safe for us to drive home, They lied to us, I called before we got home to tell them my A/C is not working , they said we never touch it, it was late so the next day i started to look around my truck were they were working that's when i saw the plug, so i look under my truck and saw the blot just hanging there, So be careful for what you wish for with this company, Check the work before you leave it my be your last, zero star read more

They wanted to charge me nearly $400 for a new battery! Said no thanks to that! Went to get one myself and had it installed in 5 mins. Pls tell me why you're charging nearly $200 for 5 mins of work? How does the quality and experience of your technicians play into that?? Just going off that, I KNOW I was overcharged but needed the work done. On top of that, they are always backed up or have some big project going on. My car was there for a week for full inspection, including a/c diagnostics. Seeing the reviews this isn't new tho. Great customer service and great communication, it wasn't cheap to put in a engine but they did save me money in the long run and got a discount because of being certified Triple A place, I would recommend this to my friends and family, car is running well. read more

I do not enjoy writing reviews but in this day and age many of us base our purchases and services from them. Triple A recommended this place because I was stuck nearby. They towed my car here and immediately I was told that it would take awhile to get my car looked at because they were down techs and had a load of cars before me. I agreed because I had nowhere else to go at the time. The times I called to get updated I would get a response like I'm down a tech, I do not have the right code scanners because the tech that has the one I think I need is out. After a week and a half I get called and told that they don't know what the problem is because they don't have the proper devices to scan my codes but they can fix something else that needed fixing. I thought about it and sat on it and decided to call various mechanics in the area. I found a mechanic that had all the devices needed to be able to read the codes. This new mechanic stated let's take care of your drivability first.that's more important. The moral of the story is if you have older cars that need fixing then this is the place for you. If you have newer cars with more than one computer get it serviced with mechanics that have what you need. Do your due diligence. Call around. Ask a ton of questions. Although this shop was very honest with me along the way, the truth of the matter was I shouldn't have kept my car there all that time when in actuality they were never going to have the capability to find the root. I was asked that once the new mechanic found the issue to the let Inland Auto know and then I was charged a diagnostic fee of 177. My response to that is pay for the devices you need and then you will get your answers. Modern cars need modern updated techs and code scanners. read more

Took our car here since it was AAA certifed. They told us nothing was wrong with the vehicle, but failed to tell us of an oil leak. After paying 170 to get the car looked at, I noticed on the paperwork it mentioned an oil leak near the oil pan, and that the car was low on oil. I payed 170 and they couldnt even tell me about the oil leak?!? Of course I would want that fixed?!? On top of that, they didnt even bother to TOP OF THE OIL on the car, and released it to us low on oil. We dealth with Joey, who is apparently the new manager. I made an appointment to bring in my 4Runner into their shop for service. I was told it would take an hour or so. I dropped it off early at 8:30 for a 9am appointment. I left with a friend to run some errands. I call around 10:15 to see if it was done and was told another 15 minutes. My friend dropped me off at 10:45 and it was still not done, there was some issue with the delivery of a part. In my opinion the part should have been waiting there before I arrived since I made an appointment. I finally left the shop around 11:45, 3 plus hours after dropping it off. All I got was "We're sorry". There is more to this fiasco, but I will leave it at this. I had been a customer for many years, but will no longer be going there. We had broken down on the northbound I-15, we called the Auto Club & they towed our car to a AAA authorized Auto Repair facility, Inland Auto & Truck located nearby in Corona, CA. Although we were not excited about having to have our Jeep Liberty worked on we were lucky to find this very qualified repair shop. The Owner Jesus Serrano & his staff of certified mechanics analyzed the problems in a short period of time. The work involved, head gaskets & radiator was extensive but they said they would have back on the road as soon as possible. Hello, In May, I took my 2002 F250, Crew, 4wd, 7.3 into Jesus because the 4 wheel drive went out. I got a call later that day fully expecting a big bill, but he called and said that a connector was not connected. I got charged for 1 hour of labor! That is pretty honest. I had the oil changed and transmission serviced while there. So in September my transmission started leaking. Now, I have 240k miles on the truck, I tow alot and drive alot of dirt roads. I treat it like a jeep basically when not towing. I took it into Jesus figuring a big bill because I broke something. He called and said they fixed it and I am good to go. I asked how much and said nothing. He stated that he determined was that his team made a mistake and the fix was on him. Who does that? Who does that after 4 months of hard driving? This review is easy. The owner, Jesus, is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I know. This guy will sit and explain to you what it is that is wrong or right with your truck, car, or SUV. He explains things in plain old commoner English, not that mechanic babble you get at every other dealership and fly-by-night shop. Seems this guy and his crew are always busy when I walked in, but he never once brushed me off. He took the time to clearly navigate my numb mind through the best and most cost effective solution. Trust me, I understand tire changing and oil changes, but beyond that, you might as well be talking to me in an unknown dialect of Mandarin. I walked out of here with a full understanding of all my repairs and with a clear head about how I need to take care of my car. COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! PRICE GOUGING!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Our van broke down an hour from home in Corona. AAA towed the van to one of their "preferred" mechanics... the unscrupulous Inland Auto & Truck. After a quick inspection, the owner, Jesus Serrano, said the car overheated and the transmission fluid had sprayed out of the vents. Because of the overheating he said all of the car's computer codes were on so he couldn't tell what the specific problem was. Jesus Serrano said he couldn't guarantee the transmission would work but he could refill it with fluid and that should enable the van to get home. Jesus Serrano then proceeded to charge $480 to put in the transmission fluid. FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS!!! And that was AFTER the AAA discount! I thought that was outrageous and looked on line to see what a transmission fluid change should cost... having a mechanic do it should cost between $85 and $150. When asked why he was charging so much, Jesus Serrano said it was because "transmission fluid was very expensive" and it was a difficult job, which is why the labor was so high. Jesus Serrano knew we were an hour away from home, with a car full of our children and young grandchildren, and knew we were basically stuck between a rock and a hard place and decided to screw us. We had no choice but to pay the outrageous, gouging fee Jesus Serrano was charging. With the transmission filled, the van made it about 40 minutes before overheating again. Luckily, it made it off the freeway and was able to be parked on a side street. The next day I was able to get it towed to our local mechanic SUPERIOR AUTO CLINIC in Burbank. Paul gave the van a thorough inspection (which he did not charge for) and said the problem was a leaky water pump that led to the engine overheating and the loss of the transmission fluid. Paul said that any decent mechanic would have known the problem was related to the cooling system and if they bothered to look they couldn't help but see the problem immediately. Jesus Serrano never bothered to see what the problem actually was... he just callously ripped us off and sent a van full of women and young children back on the highway with nothing more than a wink and a nod. Complete asshole. Needless to say, we filed a complaint with AAA and they are passing it "up the chain" claiming they will do a review to determine if Inland Auto & Truck will be removed from their "preferred list" as we requested. We are not going to let this slide and are going to continue to press our case with AAA. BE WARNED! AVOID THIS UNSCRUPULOUS RIP-OFF PLACE! read more
