I'm not even sure where to begin. Whenever I sit down to even pull all of my thoughts together about this amazing real estate team, five stars is not enough. Aaron and Christina (Trelora Real Estate) Have been a true blessing to work with. My wife and I was at a home show earlier towards the beginning of 2020 And we're only there because her parents wanted to take a look at some different options for painters. Wow being there we were drawn to Aaron and Christina who had a booth. Aaron was so friendly and he caught our attention right away. We had no intentions of getting a real estate agent as we were just starting the house Buying process. To be honest we were not going to use a real estate agent as I wasn't sure how all of that worked and didn't plan on paying for one. I later found out that real estate agents are paid by the seller, which led me to reach out to a friend as I wanted to be a good friend to kind of help them out. But all that changed whenever I met Aaron on this specific day. The awesome thing about this company that drew us to them Is that they offer 50% of their commission to the buyer. In other words when you close on your house, you will receive a check that is 50% of the total commission that they received. That was unbelievable and we could not understand how it was possible until we met with Aaron on the phone and asked him a few more Details around this philosophy. Lo and behold we went ahead and signed on to have these guys represent us as our realtors. Throughout the entire six-month process Aaron and Christina were phenomenal. When it came down to reaching out to the seller and making sure loose ends were tied, Aaron and Christina represented us well. When it came down to closing Christina showed up and attended our closing with us. Not only did she show up to closing but she showed up with a gift in her hand. It was such a pleasure working with her and Aaron as they made our buying process so easy. This was particularly true with regard to scouting, and then showing us remotely via video phone tours of the numerous homes we were interested in. Being from the North East United States, it was simply not possible for us to tour the homes in person. We relied on Todd's expertise with regard to location, pricing, and negotiating the purchase of our home. Todd ventured into attics, crawl spaces and utility closets to both give us a perspective of the condition of the home's mechanical systems, roofing, and general conditions, to driving the neighborhoods that the homes resided in, to provide us of the complete picture of the homes environment/location. We trusted Todd's judgement implicitly. He was honest, forthright, as well as completely dedicated to our goal. While we knew he was busy with other clients, it always felt to us like we were his only client. That's not the kind of feeling you get very often, or at all these days in the customer service arena. The Raleigh real estate market has been extremely challenging with homes going for 100's of thousands of dollars over asking price and being sold within mere hours of listing. Try doing this remotely, without being able to physically set foot in the properties we were interested in was challenging to say the least. When my husband and I…read morewere first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. Team work for the win!
