Just had literally the best General Tsos and Lo Mein I have ever eaten from Tray King. They are fast becoming my new go to for take out. I did order extra spicy so if you prefer heat you may want to ask them to dial it up, but did not disappoint. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place! Very sorry to say, but this place just isn't what it used to be. I got the General Tso's and sesame chicken, trying to get someone into Chinese food with safe picks, and the chicken was a slimy, gooey, bad-tasting mess. I got it as soon as it came out of the kitchen and went straight home. Even as a Chinese food fanatic, I could barely eat it. Safe to say the other person was not a fan either. The General Tso's was barely even distinguishable from the sesame, except not having the seeds on it. It was just a goopy glob of bland chicken pieces and a few sprigs of broccoli. I'm sure they do better on other dishes, but after that? I can't see myself ordering again. read more

I had a terrible experience here last night (11/24/21). I went in and ordered and while I was handing over my debit card I was surprised when I was told my total was $50, which didn't seem right. I went to my car with the menu and added up the order. The order came to $32. I went back inside to ask them to recalculate the price and was told that due to inflation the prices have gone up, etc. I was shocked. Nobody said a word about price changes while I was placing my order. You're charging almost double the price on the menu, but don't think this is information you should maybe pass along to the customer? I got a refund and left. I hear a lot of people say they love the food at this restaurant, but I think that's because it is the only Chinese restaurant in town. It's not bad food by any means, but it's average at best. read more

Worst take out Chinese food I've had ever. Only thing I can say positive is it was quick and hot. I had beef with pea pods that had mushrooms and a brown , thin tasteless gravy. My wife ordered sweet and sour chicken and get this she got a container of red sauce and some fried chicken pieces, no pineapple or anything the sauce was right out of the can. Ugh read more

Tray King House I gotta agree with Eric P. on this one. If your looking for a go in sit down and order or take out then this is by far the best in the area period. The staff is always cheerful and friendly to everyone and the food is righteous. I have ate at alot of different chinese restraunts and other than peking in princeton (buffet and take out) Tray King is dynamite. Fresh, really good size portions of food, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend to any one. I did have a take out order once that was wrong but after calling them they asked if I was able to come back that day to get a new meal but wasn't able to.Told them that I could come back at the weekend and they took care of it and fixed me a new meal. I have ate nomerous from here, most of them different but as Eric P. said the gerneral tso's is pretty dynamite XD read more

However if your looking to order a meal than Tray King is the place to eat. The staff are very friendly and are always working to please the customers. Another outstanding experience, dining in on Saturday evening, 5 September. The service was cordial, competent, and timely. I had the Pineapple Chicken for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. Also, the portion size was plenty for a decent meal.
