We haul horses professionally and have needed to get some new tires on our truck. We are rarely unloaded and for the past few weeks we've been told "out of stock, we can't get that tire for 3-5days." So when the Pontiac location said this location had 4 tires available, we called them immediately and asked them if there was any way to get our big rig down there before they closed. They said "just get here asap, we will figure something out." So we got out right rolling and pulled in with almost an hour left in their day before they closed. So often, we find a tire places who won't add an additional project like ours in without a day+ to schedule AND then it's a matter of tire availability. We get it, it's a heavy duty tire and we aren't normal customers. Today we were in a huge bind and these guys swooped in and absolutely saved the day! They got us 3 new tires on and sent us on our way. Oh, and did I mention that their prices were $100's less than other places! I just had a quote for 2 of these tires at $700, they sold us these three for $130 more... easily saving us $200!!! Which was so appreciated! We are so thankful for the quality of tires they had in stock, their willingness to go above and beyond for us, and how understanding and kind they all were to us! The guy from the original store even called while we were there to check on us and make sure we were taken care of! We love places like this and absolutely will sing praises when they are due, I can assure this place deserves it! Thank you Ron and the rest of the crew for taking care of us!

I will be doing reviews and at least contacting corporate but I'm sure it will fall on deaf ears. In my opinion it's no longer about the customer but more about the dollar. No way in hell will I spend a dollar there even if I paid more at a small mom and pop tire company.

Unfortunately the car needed a new engine. The price for the new engine & all the labor was fair and the work was guaranteed for 90 days. We had Monroe Car Care put in the newish' engine & Henry told us to bring it back if we had any issues. There were a couple things that needed to be adjusted that weren't related to the engine, but the work was done for a fair price. We were pleased with the communication, price & excellent work done by Monroe Car Care!

The tire had apparently been improperly torqued when recently replaced by an Indiana tire store. I had the car towed to Belle Tire that evening and they worked on it the next morning. One of the wheel studs was broken off and had to be replaced. Because of an unusual size they had trouble finding a replacement. They ordered and tried four different studs before finding the correct size. Mike, the manager, and his staff were very friendly and went over above to complete the repair. Wanting a second opinion and feeling something was off (way off) i found A1 Auto on Monroe and Friends and brought it in. The tech came out with a odd look on his face and said "I don't know why that other shop wanted to replace the entire rack n pinion, we can only find a leaking power steering pump. At best it might just need some new hoses. At worst it needs a $500 pump and that's it!!" First time visiting this shop and they've saved me several thousand dollars already. Why do some of these other shops find woman as easy targets to rip off? HOW is that a good business practice? A1 Auto Center's motto is WE'RE LADY FRIENDLY and I AM LOVING IT!
