To be completely honest, I came here after Magic Quick Lube closed on South Dixie. They claimed that my front ac and cabin filters needed to be changed; and I responded asking about how this could be possible since it had been replaced already once in the last year or so. I then decided to just get the cabin air filter replaced, not only just to be safe, but also because I thought I could trust the servicemen. Skeptical after my oil change due to this interaction and the price (almost $123), I then decided to go somewhere else months later, which showed me my front AC filter in comparison to a new filter, and they were almost the same color; white. And despite choosing to get the filter replaced at the second location even though it was unnecessary, I paid a fraction of the price. Overall, the staff may friendly to customers and the service was exceptional, but I think there are better options in Monroe especially for younger, susceptible teenagers and women.

They refused to do any of it until they saw the vehicle. Seems like all of the garages in town do not want to tell you anything until you take your car to them, because once they get you there, you are more likely to have them do the repair. Should I talk to the bald guy with the beard at the counter, the one who is kind of goofy looking, and asked him about the repair. He asked me what year is it? And then began to quote me $2000 for the repair, as if he was price structuring the repair according to the year of the vehicle, which is price fixing and illegal. I had previously been given a price of $800 for a new exhaust system by "Fix It Once" in town, and $1150 by Bell Tire. The price quoted by Bell tire was for a new exhaust system, since they did not do any welding there, which was the same for "fix it once". I had been to Midas once before, and they tried something similar than too. And the same guy did it then as well. They will never have my business again. Turns out, the $2000 car repair could've been done with a couple $10 exhaust pipe clamps and some heat activated sealant.

We haul horses professionally and have needed to get some new tires on our truck. We are rarely unloaded and for the past few weeks we've been told "out of stock, we can't get that tire for 3-5days." So when the Pontiac location said this location had 4 tires available, we called them immediately and asked them if there was any way to get our big rig down there before they closed. They said "just get here asap, we will figure something out." So we got out right rolling and pulled in with almost an hour left in their day before they closed. So often, we find a tire places who won't add an additional project like ours in without a day+ to schedule AND then it's a matter of tire availability. We get it, it's a heavy duty tire and we aren't normal customers. Today we were in a huge bind and these guys swooped in and absolutely saved the day! They got us 3 new tires on and sent us on our way. Oh, and did I mention that their prices were $100's less than other places! I just had a quote for 2 of these tires at $700, they sold us these three for $130 more... easily saving us $200!!! Which was so appreciated! We are so thankful for the quality of tires they had in stock, their willingness to go above and beyond for us, and how understanding and kind they all were to us! The guy from the original store even called while we were there to check on us and make sure we were taken care of! We love places like this and absolutely will sing praises when they are due, I can assure this place deserves it! Thank you Ron and the rest of the crew for taking care of us!

Wanting a second opinion and feeling something was off (way off) i found A1 Auto on Monroe and Friends and brought it in. The tech came out with a odd look on his face and said "I don't know why that other shop wanted to replace the entire rack n pinion, we can only find a leaking power steering pump. At best it might just need some new hoses. At worst it needs a $500 pump and that's it!!" First time visiting this shop and they've saved me several thousand dollars already. Unfortunately the car needed a new engine. The price for the new engine & all the labor was fair and the work was guaranteed for 90 days. We had Monroe Car Care put in the newish' engine & Henry told us to bring it back if we had any issues. There were a couple things that needed to be adjusted that weren't related to the engine, but the work was done for a fair price. We were pleased with the communication, price & excellent work done by Monroe Car Care!
